Excellent footage, of Amtrak trains. SLO is a beautiful place, where the terrain changes. You seem to know the route and the drone footage was just like in the movies. Great show, Steven.
I learned your long distance secret when I saw the black pickup chasing along side the rear car. Great video...thanks!
Mister Steven, aprecio en gran manera el que comparta con todos los aficionados al ferrocarril estos bellos videos. Gracias por compartir. Saludos desde El Salvador...
What an absolutely beautiful video this was, sir. All the angles were nicely shot, with plenty of movement and action, and the accompanying soundtrack was exciting. I also caught the sound of the horn that was added when it crossed Foothill Blvd. Highly praise-worthy. I've added it to my favorites list within TH-cam.
One of the best drone videos I've seen. Well edited, fantastic framing and chase by the operator, an interesting landscape and subject, and the best part - long uninterrupted takes without edit breaks.
Awesome video! Didn't know the DJI P4 had such long range!
Really well done, matched with complimentary music, You have a real talent for this work. Who doesn’t love the Art Deco streamliner look of the zephyr
Awesome video!!!! ..... Great tunes you used to go along with it. I certainly look forward to many many more :) ....BTW...I grew up in the SoCal area... could be why I like your videos so much ( Vancouver B.C. now)
Very Cool! Silver Solarium & Silver Lariat are now owned by the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
Excellent video! I love the soundtrack. Thank you!
Simply great!
I like the view of both the Northbound & the Southbound Coast Starlight passing each other in the San Luis Obispo Amtrak Station area, great video of my favorite long distance Amtrak train on my favorite Amtrak route.
Still doing god's work, Steve! Keep it up!
this is beautiful !
thanks for uploading this to youtube :)
Another great drone video of my favorite long distance Amtrak train, the Coast Starlight with 3 private cars, 2 of which ran on the California Zephyr and 1 looks like it is Lark grey which ran on the Southern Pacific Lark between Los Angeles & San Francisco. Great views of the San Luis Obispo and a Pacific Surfliner in waiting for its next run to San Diego. I travel long distance by Amtrak and also on the Pacific Surfliners between San Diego, Los Angeles & Oxnard,CA. I alternate my visits between Los Angeles & Oxnard. I traveled 3 times on the Coast Starlight and will be riding it in the future between Seattle & Los Angeles and the Pacific Surfliners & Cascades as well in my future train travels.
1:50 - Feels like I'm watching an animated version of Google Maps
As always outstanding video! Was this trip that the San Luis Obispo railroad museum put on? Or, perhaps these are the cars out of the santa barbara club??? Kudos!
That's a sweet train.
Awesome video!!!
Amazing video. Hope someone starts doing this in european lines soon!
Coolest train!
Can you imagine being in that last car watch a drone follow?
Steven, I enjoyed you videos on the " What's Neat" pod cast and was wondering what they used for background music. I note the you post credits for the music you use but I didn't find any for your videos their cast
This question has come up a couple times now. They add that music in themselves so I have no idea where it’s from. I imagine it’s royalty free music of some kind so they are able to monetize their videos.
Do you know those two guys waving at the camera?
Wow, i didn’t know that drone would go that fast.
The video is speeded up at least 2x or more.
Класс. Жаль у нас такие красавцы почти
не ездят.
A lot of the piloting makes me anxious-- there's a lot of side-translation (relative to camera view) at treetop height. I'm like "watch where you're going!" for a good chunk of the playtime.
i dare you to Land on the train for 5 minutes
