Is this exercise effective to do while in a sitting position? Is any one position better than the others? Should I continuously change the position I'm in while doing kege'ls to use 'all muscles'?
Hey Michelle, I recently stumbled across one of your videos and subscribed right away. I love your videos so so much. Im glad I found your channel. Also I was wondering if kegels or reverse kegels would be good for someone young (early 20s) with hemorrhoids? Pls help!
Hey SJ thanks for your message - reverse Kegels are helpful with pelvic floor spasm so you need to know whether or not you're relaxing your pelvic floor. I'm releasing a video on reverse kegels next week which will give you more info on this too. It's important to keep your stool soft and avoid straining by using the correct bowel emptying technique - you've seen my video on this?

I’m 7.5 months postpartum and I’ve been struggling with a mild prolapse for 6 months. I’ve been working on kegels for this time and still cannot get stronger contraction. It actually gives me some discomfort sometimes. I’m honestly at a loss of how to strengthen at this point. Any tips? I literally just tried to do your technique and after 2 attempts couldn’t continue. How is this still possible after all this time? Feeling really upset

You may have overstretched your bladder muscle a little - it's very important that you don't wait too long to empty your bladder. Have you been to see a Urologist? They can help diagnose this problem and advise you accordingly. It will probably be important for you to measure how much your bladder empties and very important that you empty approximately 2-3 hourly depending on how much you drink during this time too. The bladder shouldn't be stretched beyond holding around 450-500 mls but your Urologist may advise you to empty your bladder sooner to try to restore some sensation. All the best

I have a question
When to start these exercises I mean after how much time?
Can it be done after vaginal delivery?
When is it ok to start pelvic/diastasis recti exercises after birth? Can you start too early after birth?
