Fun fact, Ra’s has called Jason, Tim, and Grayson all “Detective” at this point in cannon comics. All 3 of them lol. Tim being called “detective” as a nod to his det skills is just not real because he wasn’t even the first one Ra’s called detective. In Nightwing issue #142, Ra’s calls Nightwing Detective. This comic was published in 2008 before Red Robin was even a book lol.
It pains my heart that some people here in the comments think only Tim is a detective when all the Robins need to be detectives i mean... BATMAN is their mentor duh
And Batman is literally called "The world's greatest detective"
Tim be fair, compared to Dick/Jason/Damien he is a better detective. They do beat him out on the other aspects of being a Robin
@robertwolff8928 I agree. Tim is a great detective and is considered to be the world's 2nd greatest detective. However, he can not do great acrobatics like dick. He is not a tank like Jason nor is he a master fighter like Damien but he is still a really good character and is more like Batman's friend than his son. Almost like how you would act around your friend's dad.
Yeah disappointed no one noticed Jason standing three feet from them.
He's older, taller, doesn't talk, and is more muscular, plus his mask covers his entire face!! They're not comic book fans, so they can't just point to him and shout, "Jason?!?" Or "OH, that's the Red Hood"

Yeah that detective totally outsmarted and dismantled light and reach in the previous season
People in the comments don't realize that everyone in the batfamily is a detective. The only thing is that out of all the kids, Tim is the best detective of all. But all of them have other stuff that they're better at.

Creo que la gente que dice que solo Tim es el "detective" no se ha tomado la molestia de leer cómics completos de Nightwing, o Red Hood. Todos en esa familia son detectives, unos más inteligentes que otros, pero TODOS lo son.

Nightwing is an exceptional acrobat... but detective? Tim Drake is the one who takes that title the most of all the Robins, the Team could have asked him for help from the beginning. He could have even identified Jason if he had gone to Infinity Island hahahaha, or perhaps he would have been curious about "that ninja", and arriving in Gotham, he would have investigated until he found his identity. That would have been an excellent plot, I would have liked to see it. Too bad they only focused on Superboy in the last season...
Alfred said dick Grayson is the most intuitive of all the robins. Tim is a better detective but not better at problem solving. That goes to Nightwing

Being a better detective means nothing in this situation. Dick is closer to the problem. He’s a better problem solver then Tim. Tim is indecisive and unsure of himself. Nightwing is not. He is a better leader and more suited for the investigation
