Thank you so much for making this video showcasing a student opinion!🙂 I've been reading a lot of university reviews on a website and they've all been discouraging towards this school and many others in QLD. But I've decided to give it a go thanks to you and Riley. Psychology also . Thanks again
There’s one terrible website in Australia that has nothing but negative reviews about basically every uni. It’s a shit resource imo Glad you found this helpful.
Thank You for posting the video guy's. Riley, I start my USC Journey next February. I have not been to University before. I am Studying a Bachelor of Animal Ecology. I have selected my Subjects for Semester 1 and 2 and I have joined the AccessAbility program and the USC Facebook Group Page and I picked up my Student ID Card. Hope to see you around sometime at one of the Campuses Riley. Keep up the good work mate & I have not been surfing before
Such a good, well thought trough interview! It kind of made me want to study psychology now haha I did a study abroad during covid at USC (I'm from Norway). It's a great university! I especially appreciated the small classes and all the workshops and tutorials. I met so many nice people (both internationals and locals) while staying there. Just 6 months was enough for me to fall in love with the place and the Australian culture. Australians are also the nicest, most genuine people you'll come across. Extremely grateful for the experience! :)
I have uploaded all the financial documents to the UNISC student portal for my GST approval, but I haven't received any mail confirming whether they have been received or not. How long will it take for them to check all my documents? Will they contact me, and will there be an interview?
The Sunshine Coast is a long, spread out area. The biggest towns are Maroochydore, Caloundra and Maloolaba (all relatively close to the uni). Getting casual work in those towns should be okay. Noosa is also a bigger suburb but quite far from the uni.
Great smaller university for international students. There’s a wonderful university community. I believe the Sunshine Coast is considered regional for visa purposes but you should always double check that sort of thing yourself.
USC has a strong relationship with the local hospital... I think it might even be called the USC Hospital? There's a desperate need for more nurses in Australia now, and the Sunshine Coast is one of my favourite places in the country, so if I were looking to become a nurse, that would personally be very high on my list!
Can not measure how excited I am to come here from the US in 2 weeks! Still have to say your original USC video was such a great help in choosing.
Glad to hear it mate. I’ll likely be on campus later in the year so hope to catch you!

Great uni and community. What would you like to know? Are you going to live on campus?

Definitely one of the best places in Oz for a study abroad program.

Since sunshine coast is a regional area, what does the job market look like? And are the salaries low as compared cities?
