Nice to see someone has done this! I've had these since they released the range back 4 ish years ago and I've had no issues at all, the 1.5ah batteries still going strong with daily use as an auto electrician. The drill is able to do a good job of steel with its 10mm chuck, the impact driver is just as powerful as a makita cxt driver, works well on self tappers and tek screws, the ratchet has also been flawless and gets into tight areas of an engine bay and the rotary tool has been no end of uses cut/grind materials out. Time to get the rest of the range in my tool box

I don't own a cordless ratchet yet. It's one of my "shall I or shan't I" potential tool purchases. But I've watched a couple of teardowns on cordless ratchets and -given they're supposed to be also used conventionally to crack off the nuts & bolts in the first place, before letting the motor wind them the rest of the way- I'm surprised to see that there's no metal structure inside the handle part. It's just hollow plastic. It looks like it would be very easy for the handle to just snap in half, or part from the head, if you applied any sort of force to it, when trying to get a nut or bolt started manually. Especially on the cheaper ones, where the plastic is likely to be correspondingly tinner & weaker.

I’m assuming the brushes cannot be replaced? My impact wrench has a burning smell but still performs perfectly,I suppose at the price it’s more efficient to just replace it,I’ve found it to be a very useful/ capable tool,

Not without taking the metal motor housing apart. A replacement motor is not to expensive though. It’s a standard 12 DC tool motor. Or send Sealey an email. They offer a repair service.

Can you get or replace the swivel arm on the top of the ratchet, that pushes the ratchet, mine broke, its the bit of steal that curved over the ratchet?

Sealey offer a pretty good spare parts and repair service, directly on their website. You could also try places like eBay. Plenty of components being offered on there.

Tried looking online after taking screen shot of the switch numbers from your video but couldn't find a match might have to try the spares department
