With Einhell or other entry level power tool I rather use two lower capacity battery packs as a 2.5Ah. this way the tool has time to cool down while changing the battery pack, or not being maxed to full power.

Not a fan of the big looking knobs. Lost my cutting guide due to how easily they unlock.

I have a 2010 DF330D witch was white and black when new, it's now more black than white with use. I think it's a great drill... This video was great as I wanted to change the chuck...

I was just thinking of starting with the same words as herberar below! I've never seen a review go this far before - quite often they're just an unboxing and maybe a couple of cuts. Immediate subscribe! I've never used Einhell gear nor even seen many reviews, so was concerned about quality. I get the feeling that's not an issue. It would have been good to see it in use, maybe with the track guides.

I have the same drill. But now the chuck does not lock when removing the drill bit. The chuck locks when installing the drill bit. But when I want to remove the bits, the chuck rotates. I'm going to disassemble the drill and fix it. Which of these parts you removed is preventing rotation?

Before this tool I used a Bosch PMB180 for years. The old one needed bearings replaced and I replaced them. Freedom without cables is a really good thing. I got this model. It's nice to see what's inside. Simple is good for a tool like this. There is very little to fail. If the speed control fails, simply short it and go on. The motor brushes are no problem. Of course it has a long life.

I find that if I use the palm base, after I tighten the router to the base, the router kinds of tilted towards one side a little bit, making the routing bit slightly angled instead of 90º straight. That’s one thing I don’t like about this unit.

Just bought one of these, really pleased with it. That's an awful lot of technology for the money. Very strong draught coming out of those holes when in use.

Can the brushes be replaced in this 8200 engine?

Exellent work again from Tool Teardown. This is the right way to show the quality stuff. I have used this same rotary hammer for several years. Never had any problems.

The 8220 is noticeably more powerful and has a longer battery life compared to the 8200? I'm thinking about changing it, but I have an 8200 in great condition, but 10V batteries are becoming harder to find.

Einhell tools have changed the game for me! Really great value and so far after using them for almost 3 years I’ve had no issues except one caused by my fitter’s negligence. Einhell offers a great solution for me with a wide range on cordless tools

had an issue after replacing my motor, where i could only select second gear. Turns out the plastic face plate you attach to the motor face is asymmetrical, meaning there is only 1 correct orientation, if you have it flipped 180 degrees you can still connect the motor, but it will block out 1st gear selection. hope this comment helps the next guy who makes the same mistake!

does that mean you can't use a 45 degree cutter with this palm router machine?

I don't own a cordless ratchet yet. It's one of my "shall I or shan't I" potential tool purchases. But I've watched a couple of teardowns on cordless ratchets and -given they're supposed to be also used conventionally to crack off the nuts & bolts in the first place, before letting the motor wind them the rest of the way- I'm surprised to see that there's no metal structure inside the handle part. It's just hollow plastic. It looks like it would be very easy for the handle to just snap in half, or part from the head, if you applied any sort of force to it, when trying to get a nut or bolt started manually. Especially on the cheaper ones, where the plastic is likely to be correspondingly tinner & weaker.

I have the Ozito version of this, which is pretty much the same. What I found with the palm base, is that tightening the knob pulls the whole thing off centre. My cuts were slightly off 90 degrees. It became most noticeable when I started using the guide bushing (which didn’t even fit until I sanded the edges). The router bit is quite evidently off centre and almost touches the side of the guide bushing. I took it back to the store and swapped it with another. When I got home, it had the same issues - guide bushing doesn’t fit until edges are sanded and tightening the knob on the base pulls the base off centre. So I’m of the opinion that the palm base is of poor design & quality. It will not give you perfectly straight cuts. A shame because the main part of the router seems decent.

I am pretty sure that Einhell make the parkside tools but good to see what you get for your money 😊

I love my Einhell products. Never had an issue yet. By the way all Brushless Motors (no matter what tool) have a 10 Year warranty. Thanks for sharing.
