I’ve been using these products for a while - I agree, nothing better on the market for vinyl protection. I also wanted to thank you, I’ve been a heavy metal music vinyl collector for 35 years and you introduced me to the world of audiophile jazz recordings. It’s a whole new world for me, love the music and the vinyl sounds incredible. Thank you for your excellent videos.

Mint Sleeves supply these in the UK, and they do a very poor job in looking after their inventory. Sleeves often arrive creased, or tainted with something. And most recently (this is probably Vinyl Storage Solutions' fault) have arrive smaller than usual, with the 12 inch sleeve fitting hardly any 12 inch record I own, whereas previously they did...there's no consistency in the size of the sleeves. Not the most communicative of companies either.

Michael I love it the dogs are barking and you barely broke a stride in your speech. You are a TH-cam professional. Thank you for the tip on the sleeves. I just came across a Mofi Blood Sweet and Tears 200 gram pressing that on the back of the outer sleeve has no numbers. I was told that this was possible a promo version that could be even more valuable. I’m not sure, but it and the cover are mint minus.
I have checked discogs and unfortunately eBay and the prices seem to be between 145-425.00. If I’m not mistaken you have this pressing. If you don’t mind looking on the back to see if yours is numbered. It sounds incredible and my record shops owner said he would allow me to take it home to listen to, which he often does, because he knows that there is a 98 percent chance that I’m buying the record. I came across some information that Mofi might have lost the rights to this early for this particular pressing, but I’m not sure since they are coming out with a One-Step of this soon.
The record store owner further made the deal even more interesting by telling me that he would reduced the price from 125.00 to 100.00. He told me that he just wanted to give me something to chew on while I enjoyed the record. He will normally let me keep the records for a week if I want but I will generally go back and pay for them quickly to keep this curtesy continuing. I also just picked up the rest of the Chet Baker records on Craft Recordings, they are pretty good. My Hifi dealer extends the same curtesy. Keep up the outstanding work and your channel is growing due to all of your hard work.

Got my order and the clarity is spectacular. The 10" & 7" sleeves are amazing. That being said, they're super tight on gatefolds. I've already torn one sleeve. I wish they just had 1 or 2 millimeters of width to accomodate slightly thicker sleeves...

Michael....I want to thank you for bringing Vinyl Storage Solutions into my life!!
I now also use the 4 mil outer sleeves with the extra pocket for the lp.
It has revolutionized the protection of my non-gatefold lps.
Now for the gatefolds....I have copied what you do with those! How wonderful it is now to be able to touch and open the
gatefolds without worrying about fingerprints, etc. It is a totally different and tactile experience !! I never thought this would be possible!!
I get a lot of enjoyment by being able to open them up and look, read, etc.
Also since there are 2 pockets(since it takes 2 sleeves), the one or 2 lps can go in one pocket and any stickers or other stuff (like a bonus 7") can be displayed in the other sleeve. One just has to be careful to not tip the album down, so nothing falls out.
This has been a revolution in my lp life!! I am so appreciative. Thanks again!
Also now I can show them to company and not be worried about what might happen!
As for the Inner Sleeves, if cost if not an issue, I really do prefer the Diskeeper Ultimate Audiophile Sleeve as they are thicker, sturdier, and are easier to insert back into wherever one puts them. They are however $28.99 for a 50 pack, plus shipping, which of course, is quite a bit more....but in my opinion, there are 100% worth the money....especially for those audiophile lps I get from Acoustic Sounds, etc. I've never experienced a better, sturdier, more responsive sleeve than these.

There's always a compromise between different sleeves. Personally I prefer the lighter style inner sleeves like the Mofis or similar, as well as the round-bottom style which I often use inside original printed inners. Any thicker or more rigid inner sleeves like shown in the video are a bit less forgiving- ie the more rigid nature of the sleeve is potential for more friction/static.The tighter and thicker the inner sleeve, the more it 'grips' the vinyl as it slides in and out, which is not ideal.

I am now packaging the AP blue note series in 45rpm, which is single jacket and double albums. The covers are actually very thick for the 12inch sleeves, go very tight. What do you do when you buy new vinyl and you find that it has surface scratches from the sleeve it was packaged in. The records play fine but obviously the vinyl is not in perfect shape. I am finding this to be more common whether I buy online or instore and there is only so many times you can return it for a replacement. Whether it is an inappropriate inner sleeve used to begin with or the way it is jammed in the sleeve, it just sucks as you are buying an inferior product and even if you buy proper inner sleeves to replace them, the damage has already been done. Most recently I bought the Joe Strummer Assembly on red vinyl and i returned it twice only to find the same scratch in the same spot. Love your channel btw - always learn something with every video!! I have the 2 inch and I like them. However, I just ordered a few of the 3 inch. Your commission will be coming soon!

The outer sleeves are really smart and good looking, but Im still wary of those inner sleeves. They look way too stiff and abrasive, like those frosty RTI inner sleeves which create lots of hairlines very easily.
As for the MFSL type sleeve they are too flimsy for me but great for lining paper lyric inners to create your own quality sleeve with.

Totally agree, more rigid inners are potential for problems. I don't trust those crystal clear (polypropylene) inners. Also agree Mofis are very flimsy, but it's a bit of a trade-off because it makes them very forgiving and less likely to cause static. I like a hybrid of Mofi-style or round-bottom inside a regular paper inner.

@@Matasky2010 I do prefer the round bottom ones too, although my absolute favorite is plastic lined paper sleeves. Extra rigidity from the paper, easy to separate from the record and cause 0 contact when removing.

Guys there is no mention of MA Recordings inner sleeves, maybe none of you know they are the BEST.

The Crystal Clear Inner Sleeves look like they will do hairlines and scratches like hell tbh.

Form and Function dynamic. The seal able outer sleeves are hideous to look at, as are the inner sleeves with writing on. They may offer good protection but then you live in an ambience of ugliness.
