Long live Bon Scott and his legacy, but you gotta admit that Brian Johnson is at his best right here.
You got that right man. he knew he had to give all his best and he did delivered
Can you imagine Bon with that crowd 😮😮
Cliff Williams on the base never gets a mention. Keeping the band going.
I will never get tired of 5:40 where Mal just standing there being one with the groove of the song. Rest in peace Mal, we miss you everyday.
Amen! ❤
5:53 WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that '74 Jail break.... the riff I mean
R.I.P Malcolm we will love you forever ❤️
If you listen with headphones, you can hear how malcolm and angus were perfectly in synch all the time with every chord.
How right u are
ñ
agreed
Bloody better be - for the price of a ticket!!!!😜🤘
in an interview released by Malcom, he said that this was one of the concerts where it sounded worse! For me it remains the best live ever
0:25 fukkin smooth move from brian there
True
also kinda wild to see the man without his signature hat haha
Biggest, baddest band in the whole world, hands down.
7:28 Man... The two brothers playing the same notes, the two guitars make such a powerful sound together, this is pure gold
I believe they are playing same notes but at different octaves creating a nice wholesome sound.
@paul cleary it's amazing the quality of good old rock in Aussie pubs.
@@swanson_ During the opening they were but at that timestamp they were playing the same e chord if you listen closely. Very true for a lot of the other parts of the song though!
@RigMaster yeah I guess but then I don’t know shit about reading or playing music. I just know what I like when I hear it. ACDC is one of the greatest bands, if not the greatest band ever.
@RigMaster1 excuse me I left out the 1
Malcom, Chris and Cliff together are an absolute fucking machine.🔥🔥🔥
This song defines why Malcolm Young is the best rhythm guitarist of all time....rock on Mal....
Greg Fiorilla he was in control the entire song.
this is the where malcolm shines : RIP Malcolm Young
@@twist2723 в
Yes sure but does Malcom Can play as Angus?
louis bz 1st.: He doesn’t have to play like him... two different roles. 2nd.: malcom played various solos on AC/DCs Albums.
No matter how old Angus gets, he'll always be Young.
A M E N
I hear it my whole life...yep.
The best band and he's the greatest guitar player. Ever would love to see them in concerts
Can't argue with that.
lml
One of the few bands that sounds WAY better live then their studio albums.
They sound better there than on the razors Edge lp...
Include Thin Lizzy in that list
I totally agree. Especially with the Live at Donington concert which I think they were at their best. With Brain Jonson's voice being able to be get so high and and raw and I also prefer Chris Slade's drum sound over the other drummers from later and before.
@@briancross6726 n
Totally agree. Watch the Live at Donnington video. Great camera work, outdoor acoustics and audio engineering. Video captures Chris Slade’s drumming contribution to a great show.
One of those songs in which Chris Slade just shines!!!!!
Er trommelt aber auch sehr gut 👍
That face Expression on 4:01...only Brian Johnson can do that, Icon!
Popeye lol
This shows the true genius of Malcolm
Brian Johnson is a freak of nature
They will live for a 500 years
Alot of bands didn't wont to really play behind them around 78 true only band ever like them the rhythm of the people with malcom Phil and great bass cliff there the whole thing with them brain great singer then ANGUS WHAT A ROCKER he just super energy they still same poor lads with money and true phenomenal band
To the end of time...
I love focusing myself on Malcolm's rhythm. What a guitarist he was.
Best version of the Song! Love how Malcolm & Angus "talk to eachother from 4:08! 😃
God knows...Phil Rudd is a hell of a drummer...No question. But the way Chris and Cliff team up here is just hypnotic.Excellent Hi Hat-Kick-Snare work...plus Malcolms easy discrete groovin´ Chords behind...Angus and Brian can do whatever they want. They got so much free space delivered.Great Grooves.Phantastic.
Hey they are both great Drummers. But yeah I agree! The sound here is just perfect harmony.
Indeed, oh to be the singer or Lead guitarist in any band that has a back row like Mal, Chris and Phil. You have so much space to improv and play around with that backing!
@Autistic Beauty Queen 1998! They are both exceptional drummers
@@Whitebreadonly I love Phil's playing but Chris just killed this concert. Very good at what he did.
@@mikel.laughridge9480 Yea, exactly. chris didnt rly do the best on future concerts but he did great here.
i still wish with this sound and lineup and length of songs, we heard phil.
That would have been cool.
Love the bass in this. Cliff doesn't get enough credit imo
I couldn't agree more mate 👍
No he doesn't. The bass is great
He was afraid to slap the bass so he just play it like a regular guitar
Love the bass cliff Willams has always put out there so awesome
Angus is probably the only guitarist who can have the guitar strap set that high and still look badass.
Veini Laakso and use the same guitar the whole show n with no pedals Top that new guys 🎸⚡️💥💯🤘🏻
Les Brown 5 ft 3
Vəıuı Its a proven fact your fingers move faster when the guitar is high.
I tower over him lol
I never realized how small Angus was until I got an SG and seeing how big it looked on him but how small it was to me
Brian absolutely killed it on this tour, especially on this song. Even Bon didn't hit those high notes on the 4th "HIIIIIIGH" that Brian was in 1991.....
N'importe quoi, c'est le groupe entier qui est subliminal. Et Bon Scott était grandiose mais il n'a pas été remplacé par un Guignol. Ils sont tous gigantesque.
Still tho brian Johnson had so much ENERGY in that HIIIGHHHH
I can watch this band over and over again and I will never get tired of them.
Yeeeees brow
Me too 🙂
👍👍👍👍😜😜😜❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️…. Me too !!!…..
what impro !!!….. and rifs guitars !!!…. Absolutly fabuleux ( in french !!!…😂😂😂) …..
same
No matter how many times I listen to this, at 07:29 when both guitars kick back in, it's a goosebump guarantee.
100% brother
His name was Jim Marshall. Yes, 'that' Marshall. And this is exactly what he had in mind when designing and engineering his legendary Marshall amps and cabinets. And the Young brothers took it and went with it - big time!
That’s always my fav part in a Acca/Dacca Song when both guitars and drums kick in
Acdc are masters of that.check out bad boy boogie
Это точно!
I love Malcolm's face at 5:39. In the fucking zone with that riff. RIP Malcolm 🤙🤘
man is literally attached to that guitar, RIP Malcolm Young.
Best image in rock history 😏
THE DRUMMER OF THIS SONG IS SIMPLY SPECTACULAR.....AND ALL SONG .....AC DC FOREVER....!!!!
Thank phil rudd for that
@@urtooslow4415 the funny thing is that he's not even phil rudd
Its probably chris slade then?
Holy guacamoly, can we appreciate for a second how fucking precise Slade and Williams carry Johnson through the break at 07:00
I think that Brian Johnson doesn’t get the credit he deserves. He was the greatest thing at the time to happen to AC DC since the demise of Bon Scott. His voice is the perfect fit for the band. They couldn’t have done better. His music speaks for its self.
Exactly
Ppl need to stop shiting on him.
@@pebblegrindelwald6593 Yes but they won't. The Bonamaniacs are just garbage.
@@Shadowman4710 yeah totally
@@Shadowman4710 One thing that's worth to point...
Brian Jhonson and Bon Scott were on the same Boat(musicians that didn't achieved long term success), the Bon purists say that Brian was just lucky and he doesn't deserve his place in the Band...
*BON WAS A CHOFER!*
@@FrancisTheBerd You don't think Brian achieved long term success? He's worth 100 million and one of the most famous singers in history...
Chris Slades drumming style fits so well with AC/DC. It's incredible
RIP Malcolm young
So much better than non fill Phil , the guy certainly knows his way about a kit that’s for sure
That bald man was amazing and he always looked like he was having a blast
His tight, but so are the rest of them
Rock in Paradise, Malcolm. You will never be forgotten.
Cliff is such a melodic player. What a gem.
Every new musician needs to watch this 100 times before they think they're ready. This is how you do it
6:42 This is where the shit gets real. From Brian's scream till the end is just AC/DC at their very best. Nothing can touch this.
4:55 I like Angus's expressions! Like he's about to do something evil.
Saleh Zwai yeah hot evil
If you're still listening to this music your a legend. Rock N Roll never dies!
will never stop listening to DC till the day I die......its in my blood
@@themace6252 same!
It never does! Hello world! I’m a 22 year old Aussie and I listen to this weekly! It’s Aussie tradition. The only time I won’t be listening to this is when I’m dead.
Hell yeah!!!🔥👍
Listen to AC DC everyday
That little cap move from Brian was the coolest thing ever
chris slade rocks !
8:25 this last chorus is so fucking epic. Brian is the best
I'm sorry no one plays like Angus the rock legend
Malcolm will be my sweetheart always and Angus ,my inspiration for ever.
These guys are genius - no silly faces or poses or pretending needed - they are rock and roll pure soul and spirit - the real Mc Coy. Thanks lads!
Malcolm is the reason for all of this! Rest in rock brother!
The way the half-moon lies in shot of Angus’ solo is just so perfect. It’s like it was edited in. Amazing
Truly brother what a band the get your blood flowing ROCK AND ROLL AT ITS BEST 😊
No two guitars complimented each other better. They knew what the other was doing before the other did it. Nobody could move a crowd like they could, nobody.
Greatest hard rock band in human history.
Give me high..... HIGH.....shit that's good
Gimme HIGH.... HIIIIIIIGH OOOOOOOOOH YEAH

nope. Bon is best.
for sure
Absolutely
I still go for Bon.
Everyone is killing it . The middle jamming is pure gold
Really like how Brian belts it out when interacting with the crowd, great performance
AC/DC : The best rock group in the world.
Of course it is
[ T H E W O R L D ] indeed.
I never noticed before, but Brian Johnson was a pretty good-looking guy back in the day lmao

The moments where Brian is getting the crowd to sing and he is talking to them I could watch that for the rest of my life and it would remain great.
Brian’s voice though 👍🏼
Cliff laying that beat down like a red headed step child. Nasty.
How doesnt he loses his voice after those screams in the give me high :P i mean sometimes i scream in the football stadium and i cannot speak after. Brian is amazing his voice is magic
Best rock and roll song ever
Чистый голос, ритм,соло . Бас.❤ Россия вас любит.
4:10 aaaahhh, the best feeling! They have just built up such great dynamics and then the guitars get very silent and we can hear the steady marvelous drumming work it’s way through...
That was some amazing guitar licks.... literally.
4:15 lol look at Brian dancing to the crowd on the right
That would be Angus Young and yes the greatest performer ever. He never stops. He goes till he drops.
AC/DC one of the best and always will be. They will never be replaced, hail to AC/DC and Malcolm we will always love you forever. May you Rock them all in heaven. RIP. Sincerely from Sunny Greece
He's with Bon somewhere rocking it out. Now there are 2 AC/DCs :D
Chris Slade is doing an awesome job.
A perfectly calibrated Rock & Roll Machine!!! I’m 52 y/o I listen to them since I was 13, I had the honor of seeing them live the first time they went to Argentina, never get tired of listening to this Band🤘🏻🇦🇷🤘🏻
@luca prodan same. Undisputed #1 at the top of my favorite band list. I honestly think they’ve had arguably the best players at several instruments and 2 of the best singers as well. They’re the GOAT of rock in my opinion. Future generations will likely attempt to duplicate this and tons of other ACDC songs when they run out of ideas, as many modern musicians have attempted to duplicate exceptional works of art by the original artists and they almost always butcher it. People try it all the time bcuz they can’t come up with their own ideas for songs. I’ve only seen 1 musician/band improve on performance of a song they purchased the rights to sing and do it better than the original artist. That was Through The Grapevine (or whatever the exact title is) by Marvin Gaye. Maybe it’s just me, but I thought the CCR version blew Marvin Gaye’s version out of the water, and that’s saying a lot bcuz the Marvin Gaye version was already incredible.
Best version of High Voltage
Love Phil Rudd's drumming style it fits AC/DC the best... But goddamn is Chris Slade a great drummer and his playing on these Donginton live recording is just on fucking point!
Yes,Phill Rudd and Chris Slade are the best AC/DC drummers! Simon Wright too!
I was a bit taken aback when this drummer played a fill. That’s not what I listen to AC/DC for.
Chris is like a drum machine. Phil is far better suited to the ACDC sound.
I find Simon sounds the best
It must genuine be hard for Brian to sing a song from Bon's era especially with his distinct vocal.
And because of that alone, I congrat and respect him for that.
Bon shits all over him for personality and vocals though.
