I feel great. since this video, I've raced a marathon, an ultramarathon, placed 3rd in the USATF Masters Championship in the Steeple Chase, and am currently training for a triathlon. I didn't take any analgesics or other medicines to reduce symptoms, as I did not feel they were necessary.
Man, I got lucky. I had the J&J vaccine too. Had some of the same side effects, but it only lasted like half a day and it wasn't as severe. Hope you feel 💯 tomorrow!!
Everyone that I know who has gotten the vaccine is still doing great and no one has gotten COVID-19. Just thought I would update this comment. I got JJ, my wife got Moderns, my mother and father got Pfizer. All good so far.
I had the Janssen vaccine last year in June 2021. Now in June 2022, I have a cyst over the right side of my thyroid and severe shoulder pain. I had to say no to the booster...
Had the J&J vaccine in the morning a month and a half ago. I didn’t feel when the needle went in. Then the injection site felt a little bit sore about 3-5 minutes after the injection and my arm felt like heat was going down my arm for about 3-5 minutes. Went to work immediately after the vaccine. I had absolutely no side effects at all after that. Went about my life as usual.
@@elizabethhartman3924 I'm so sorry your dealing with this. My 18 year old took this vaccine 6 months ago. Now she's experiencing jaundiced eyes... blur vision.... severe pain in her liver... she has a cough for the last 3 weeks too. I'm hoping it's not from this hell of a vaccine. I had developed hyperthyroidism (self diagnosed via lab work) months ago and looking at natural meds I came across information. Selenium pills, one per day and walnut oil (gently rubbed daily on the thyroid for 5 minutes). I felt a bump on the left side of my thyroid which is now almost gone.... and all the other symptoms I had are now gone too. Just sharing in case you'd like to try something natural on your thyroid cysts.
Hey Kofuzi! I would recommend compression socks and elevate your legs when resting, considering blood clots tends to happen in the lower extremity. And water, lots of water! Hope you feel better soon!
Yeah, my reaction to the J&J was sort of similar. I felt fine that night, had the shot at 4pm, and even did an easy bike workout. But I woke up about 12 hours after the shot covered in sweat and felt cold as soon as I would take the blanket off just like you. Also had a massive headache. Slept for the next 6-8 hours off and on. But after about 8 hours I actually felt fine and went for a 6 mile run. And yeah, we got the shot around the same time and I saw that article as well. Was a little nervous at first reading the article but took a breath and realized that it was only 6 women, although that's my sex, out of nearly 7 million people who've been given the shot. I did monitor during those next weeks and thankfully nothing else came up. Glad I got the shot too...hopefully 1 step closer to being able to go back to "normal". Glad you are doing better!!
@@biguy617 I just got it today. Same side effects. I would not have gotten it, if it weren't for my job requiring a mask if I didn't. I'd have to lie every day if I didn't wanna wear the mask. I'm sure they'd fire me too. Sucks. But whatever. You only live once anyway. 🤦♂️🤷
same on the spot also. one days of lying in the floor not usually slep to much. after that day in the afternoon i rode i bike which i usually does. and i felt good this night. i took a shower this night because i ddnt have a shower last night. caused of feeling of tiredeness.
AZ here. 9am vaccine delivered, felt ok until 8pm when the train hit. Cold body shakes turned into burning. Eased off around 1am and next day (today) felt hungover but otherwise ok. Just weak and tired. My Garmin body battery usually hits 100 overnight. Last night it hit 5. Stress was 80 while asleep. Resting heart rate up 20.
I received the J&J shot a week ago. I have taken a flu shot consistently every year for the last 20 years so I know what to expect and can time it down to the hour when the side effects kick in, which is 9 hours for me after a shot. The J&J covid shot was absolutely identical in side effects and duration for me, no more or less. Took the shot at noon and at 9 p.m. slight elevated temperature kicked in with short intermittent headaches and mild chills accompanied by a general feeling of malaise for two hours and then it was over. Back to normal the following day with the exception of feeling like taking a nap in the afternoon which is uncommon for me. Injection site had the same soreness for a few days from the needle ripping through tissue, but no different than a standard flu shot.
I got the same vaccine last Friday and had to take 2 days off from running as well . There was still a sense of heaviness to everything Monday and kinda Tuesday . But , starting to feel back to normal 👍🏽 Hope you recovery well Kofuzi !
Thanks for sharing your experience. My son ( 27 yrs. ) got it yesterday and is going through the same thing. I'll show him this to put his mind at ease. Again thank you and best wishes.
thanks for this michael, well given and outright straight. im really looking forward for jnj since it takes only 1 jab. im really glad that your keeping us posted. not being overly dramatic but your giving me a lot of courage in taking this vaccine instead of pfizer or moderna. and about that blood cloth thingy, i hope it gets resolve. keep safe and recover well
Thanks for taking one for the species! I had nearly the same experience. Vaccinated 10am 3 days ago, felt fine all day, went for a hike, etc. Woke up at midnight aching HARD, everywhere, especially my joints, felt like I got hit by a car or something. Nasty headache like my brain was too big for my skull. Couldn't think straight at all. Sweltering hot until I moved, then so cold I shook uncontrollably... then somehow both at once. Too uncomfortable to sleep, or move, or watch tv, or talk. Just sat/laid/sat/laid on the couch for hours. Finally got back to sleep like 6 hours later, woke up more comfortable but still dumb and slow. Gradually got better over the next day, now I feel fine again.
Had the JJ shot on Friday afternoon. April 9th. I’m a 61 year old very healthy woman. No problems that night, slight sore arm. Saturday I had a moderate headache, and by evening I felt a bit tired. Sunday back to normal. A few days later I still felt a little tired but continued my exercise activities. Got worried about the JJ Pause. But so far I feel good.
Thanks for sharing your experience Michael. I think sharing our experiences helps to demystify vaccination for people, even if it's not positive, people can feel more confident and prepared.
I took the J&J shot August of last year and my arms & legs went numb 5 minutes after the injection. The pharmacy technician told me to wait an entire 30 minutes instead the usual 15 min observation period. Left the observation area and had trouble walking to my car. Felt like poison ☠️ had been injected into my body. After about 90 minutes all of the effects suddenly went away. Won’t be getting the J&J shot ever again!!!
It knocked me out for 2 days as well. Well, more like 1.5 days. The third day I went out on a big bike ride and felt great so you'll be back at it in no time!
Thank you so much for posting this. I have had almost the exact same experience but accompanied by the worst inner-ear burning of my life. Headache on the front and back of my skull. Very sensitive skin and everything I touch feels like sandpaper. Your recollection is absolutely on point with the cold sweats, extreme fatigue and lack of sleep. It also woke me up at almost exactly the 12 hour mark after the jab. It’s been 24 hours post jab, 12 hours with these horrible symptoms plus intense sensitivity to light and sound. Taking midol helped a lot. My pharmacist said I was having a stronger reaction than she has witnessed in anyone else which really worried me. Watching this video and reading comments made me feel soooo much better. I really really appreciate this. 🙏
@@youheartmel Thank you for asking! I was sick, sore, and tired for almost 6 weeks after the vax and had to take several weeks off of work. It was awful. I got covid last week. I felt exactly like how I felt after the vax, but it only lasted one day.
1 year post vaccine, I've run my fastest marathon ever, my fastest 10 mile race ever, and came in 8th in a half marathon. fwiw, I think this comment is ridiculous because you're not going to come back here after 1-4 years to check up on me.
I hear ya. Had the exact same thing happen to me following my J and J vaccination on 3/20. Received it 10:45am and then ran 2 hrs. Went to bed at 7 thinking combo of both made me extra tried, but then woke up at 11:30 pm with body ache upon body ache. Nightmare night and then worthless on Sunday. Good to hear you’re feeling better! Take it easy and rest up.
I had the same reactions. Interestingly neither I or my wife could sleep the first night. I felt sick for 24hrs and then just went away all the sudden.
Any updates? Just received mine yesterday and my chills are gone but still have a headache and aches. Not going to lie I’m a little nervous. I’ve read and heard that it should go away soon.
So very interesting to hear the direct experiences from this vaccine Mike and i must say you are sensible to rest and recover as you have done. Hope you are feeling better buddy. :)
Had my second shot of Moderna on Monday, and began feeling sick in the evening. Body aches all night and the following day, nausea, feeling of heaviness, and a low grade fever. Felt much better today, but decided against running myself as I still felt like I didn't have enough energy and didn't want to push myself.
I had the AZ vaccine on Saturday. Ran to the vaccine centre about 2k, then did another 8k after getting the shot. That night felt super tired and had sore shoulders and back, similar to the aching feeling you get with a flu. Sunday felt less sore, and went for 10 mile run. HR was in line with pace, but I didnt' feel amazing. Monday felt no pain anymore, ran a quicker 9 miler and felt great during the run. Felt a bit tired after. Tuesday: back to normal
Glad you are feeling better. Having the side effects means you have a strong immune system. Take care kofuzi and get rested. No need to rush back to working your video and running.
@Lee Joyce Chung I thought the strong athletic people would not have problems but I'm wrong. I'm still trying to learn. If weak immune systems won't have a strong side effect from the vaccine, what happens to us with weak immune systems if we get Covid? Will it pass through with little difficulty or will it nearly kill me? Thanks!
So sorry to hear you had such a hard time! I got the J&J, had a very mild fever, a little bit of headache and my shoulder was sore for a few days. Great to hear you're on the mend!
Omg I just got mine this morning at 9:45 and I feel every single side effect you mentioned and it’s not even 12hrs later. Literally woke up from my nap (I work nights ) woke up EXHAUSTED/mild fever/EXTREMELY ACHY/ my lower prt mainly 😩
I'm right there with ya Valerie lol I'm shivering in bed with the worst cold chills of my life. Body is very achey. Low grade fever. Heater is on and it's like 70 outside. Smh
I got the J&J shot 3 weeks ago. I took the day of off as more precautionary. That evening I started to feel minor flu like symptoms for the next 24 hrs with some restless sleep like you described. So the next day was a no go running-wise. I was able to return the following day to an easy, shorter run and from there resume my normal routine. I did have a lingering head ache and some muscle aches for an additional 24 hrs. I learned a couple days later that I had accidentally had been brewing decaff coffee all week so that might have skewed my perceptions a bit. Doh!
Had J&J last week. I felt chills when I was about to go to bed then woke up sweaty, had low-grade fever but everything was fine by the 3d day. Have no regrets for taking this lovely single-dose shot. And the side effects aren't that different than a regular flu shot, maybe just a level higher.
At 71 had the J&J vaccine back in April. Sore arm for a few days - 0 side effects. 3 days ago had my 2nd shot, which is the exact same formula as 1st one. Again sore arm but 0 side effects. Sure glad to hear you are feeling much better.
Run before and take a day off. I had mine Saturday mid day. Felt fine so went for a run Sunday. Felt very heavy, not right. Sunday night headaches, Monday flu type symptoms all day and a bad headache. Went to bed early and felt fine Tuesday. Been 100% after that 👍
6 people in 6.8million vaccinated. Literally 1 in a million. I’d take those odds over Covid. I’m glad you were able to get vaccinated my dude! Feel better soon!!
There's hundreds of thousands of cases of serious side effects, it's not just blood clots. I just watched a news clip of a guy in ICU with covid a month after getting Vaccinated. People don't understand the risks they are taking with these vaccines that haven't been tested for long enough. If you are healthy you have a 99% chance of surviving covid so why take a vaccine that could affect your health negatively?
I had the same side effects from the JJ shot. Pretty much slept the whole day the following day. I didn't feel 100% until about 3-4 days after the shot
Thanks for this feedback 🙏 I wish u back to be ok again ... here in Thailand we are still waiting for some vaccins 💉 so it is really good to observe what others who get the shoot are feeling ... thanks again
I had the johnson and johnson shot a week ago today. No "real" side effects, had a good 6 mile lots of altitude trail run the following day and have been able to run my normal 30-35 mile week, but I am noticing no real gas tank. As in having trouble really reaching for that last gear on my runs. Also, like you've mentioned, additional soreness after runs. My wife says it's my immune system, I say maybe I just need to get in better shape. lol. Hope you feel like yourself soon! good luck!
You probably got a fake shot....just kidding! My friend 's whole family got the shot and all have different side effects. One had elevated temperature while 2 had flu like things.
it was terrible and scared. I got the J&J vaccine three days ago. the first night I had a severe chill with strong shaking and at the same time had painful spasms for two hours, then I threw up and started having a fever and a terrible headache for a day. I have never experienced this, hope I recover and forget it like a bad dream. Be healthy 🙏🏽
I had a similar experience with my 2nd Moderna vaccine. But it was to be expected. Strange enough, i had the effects for about 3 hours on the same night. But then they suddenly went away in a couple of minutes. After that no side effects whatsoever.🙂
I just got the Johnson and Johnson shot today and feel nothing at all except a sting to my left arm when they put the needle in. I only felt tired for the past few days but I only got it so I can travel internationally with no problems. Thanks for sharing your experiences and making this video for us.
@@megancarroll1898 I feel good and back to normal. No side effects and it only made me feel tired and sleepy. Everyone's body is different so I'm guessing it depends on how much the person exercises, getting enough sleep, age and what he eats/drinks as diet.
Proud of you dude. Not naming names, but I think several of the bigger running youtubers have been treating covid lightly, whether it's traveling to races or organizing large group running events or just belittling the severity of the pandemic with their words and actions. As one of the bigger names in running youtube, I really appreciate you just stepping up and setting an example by getting the vaccine, but also mirroring the proper actions of being safe and social distancing in your content throughout the pandemic. Keep it up kofuzi!
F 29y.o., yesterday I've got J&J vaccine at 15:10, at the evening I noticed that the temperature raised and occurred headaches, then during the night at 03:00 a temperature was already 38.0 C (with cold sweats and shivering - I slept under two thick blankets, but still I was cold) and headaches were SO SEVERE (I hadn't had this severe headaches in my life, I couldn't do anything, even open eyes or sleep too, any movements made my head painful as hell) so I took ibuprofen (It helped a lot - and I fell asleep like in 15min). On 2nd day I had already milder headaches and temperature (37.0). Hope these side effects will disappear soon. From other SE: maybe some soreness at the injection site and (maybe) some tiredness, But I'm tired all the time :). Nothing else from SE. Hello from Riga!
I didn't even had that. I think it has a lot to do with psychosomatics. You guys are all expecting _this_ and _that_ and make yourselves ready to make a f*"kin' diary about every single expression of your body. I'm not a healthy person and got the single shot version because of my life circumstances. Of course I felt that I got a vaccination but I was not going to write a book about it. These guys are pu**sys! Sore _this,_ _felt that..._ Go working in a coal mine for a week and then start about the side effects of it. For God's sake!
Thank you for your feedback. I got my J&J shot this afternoon and I have work tomorrow and I’m super nervous. Plus it’s not like I could just call out of work because I’m a supervisor I have a team that’s depending on me. Plus not sure how my boss would feel if I didn’t show up so it’s rough.
Another sample size of 1, but I got jj a week ago. Felt similar to a flu shot for me. Luckily nothing bad as what happened to you and some people. I'm so glad I was able to get it before my race in 1.5 weeks, and especially before the pause.
Interesting. Thank you for sharing your experience. The temporary export stop on this vaccine, and the no-go on AZ, put a rather big dent in the vaccination plans in Norway for the time being. I was rather hoping the six months semi-lockdown in Oslo would end soon.
Quick update; the lock down in Oslo ended some weeks ago. I have one shot of Moderna in my arm and the second one is coming next week. I felt like shit after the first one :-)
Ko you didn’t get side effects, you got Covid. I got CV in January and you just explained everything i went through. Only thing it lasted about 7-10 days for me. Glad you are rebounding.
Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good to know other runners that had unexpectedly tough side effects. I had the J&J as well and it kicked my butt for a good 24 hours. I was sicker than I'd been in years - fever and chills/shaking. They say side effects are worse in young adults and those with strong immune systems, so we have that at least. :)
God is it bad I'm hoping that because I am a regularly unhealthy American that the side efelfect won't be as bad...needless to say I've been drinking water nonstop before and since I got the vaccine an hour ago
Got my J&J shot Friday morning around 9:30am and felt alright until about 5;00 pm then the chills begin which progressed into a fever accompanied by a headache which lasted all night .. needless to say didn’t get much sleep and had to wash my sheets cause they were soaked from sweating. And now being two days later all those symptoms have gone except feel a bit groggy! That’s been my experience so far with J&J
Hello. Thank you for sharing. I just got vaccinated with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine today. I got home about a hour and half ago. My arm is just a tiny bit sore but so far I am feeling okay. I hope you have a wonderful day. Peace and light. 💜💚💗
I got the Johnson and Johnson at 5 pm at work and worked 8 to midnight with mostly fatigue. Once I came home the chills set in so I wrapped myself in blankets in bed with a heating pad and I felt HORRIBLE like I got hit by a truck and horrible chills, wrapping my heating pad around my head with my hood up. In and out of sleep til 4 am and just got up and I feel way better. Took off some blankets and turned the AC on as it's summer here. I have some anxiety about blood clots but I'm a hypochondriac who is terrified of doctors and have been putting off getting surgery I need for my endometriosis. I figured if I can live through this vaccine maybe I'll be motivated enough to get the surgery I've been putting off. If things suddenly go south with my symptoms I'll update. Thank you for the video as it's hard to find people with JnJ experiences.
I'd still get J&J over the others since it has been tested with multiple variants. A day or couple of side effects is better than having to worry about the other variants.
@@sgill4833 CDC said they have no preference to any vaccines and it’s crucial everyone gets vaccinated as soon as possible. It’s rather selfish to put others at risk because you want the upcoming new vaccine, they aren’t iPhones 😂
I'm not taking anything I'm not being a guinea pig for anybody over 5,000 people have died already from these vaccines no thanks I don't plan on being part of that 5%, I've already had covid and I survived it.
@@MN-fc5so I have had Covid too but if you die from that vaccine you were already a foot out the door😂 60 percent of the public is already vaccinated but hey if want to live in fear do you. And 5000 people is less than 5 percent
I’m not risking my life over the Astrazeneca or the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Ever since I heard about The rare blood clot factor, I stayed away from them. Instead, I chose Pfizer because of one thing. The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is more than capable to neutralize all variance, it is potent enough to fight against all the variance. The Moderna vaccine on the other hand has seen a sevenfold reduction against the variance, but Pfizer still remains potent. The Pfizer vaccine is the ultimate weapon against all variance.
Thanks for the info. Our daughter had the same symptoms with her J&J. I got both Pfizer’s here at the Milw. VA in Jan. and I actually felt like a big rush of speed for a few days after, along with the sore arm. My wife is going for the J&J, finally, in just a few minutes. Thanks for letting me know what to expect👌.
I took J&J and I have never been in such discomfort and aching. It took about 4 hours after the vaccine to see side effects. Really bad headache as will as a 103 temp.
@@michaelmirpuri3597 hey It was only for the first 4 hours. It was bad for me. But with advil night I slept and woke up the next day with no side effects. My side effects were shivering and high tempruture
Got my shot at 2pm. Chills started at 2am. 12 hours later. Very sore whole body. The chills are bad. I have the heater on, covered up, and I've been sleeping with the fan on for the last month. Not tonight lol
Thank you for sharing! My partner and I didn’t experience any side effects other than a mildly sore arm. I got Pfizer and he got the J&J. I think we’re a little older than you though (I’m 39, he’s 45) and younger folks apparently experience the side effects more. Glad to hear you’re feeling better.
Also, the chances of getting a blood clot are so low. I’m glad vaccine distribution for J&J was put on hold, because every life is precious and it should be looked into. But women have a higher chance of getting blood clots from taking birth control, and we’re still taking it. I did tell my partner to let me know if he’s experiencing any of the pain associated with blood clots.
@@sesapabalan390 when you think penicillin, one of the most universal antibiotics can kill some people, there will always be exceptions to any medication. Also I had the Pfizer and wife had the AstraZeneca, in the UK, neither of us any reaction at all.
I got my Jansen shot 2.5 weeks ago and yeah, the next day I was pretty poopy feeling. Dehydrated, achy, chills, feverish. Glad to just take it easy the next day or so. It's a good sign though! Glad it was one and done.
Similar with the Oxford jab, but lasted 24 Hrs for me then I felt fine. In the wider context I think it’s a small inconvenience to preventing catching COVID but I agree it’s frustrating as I really wanted to Run. But really glad I had it still. Good luck, you’ll bounce back quick.
im two weeks into my johnson vaccine and its been nothing but a nightmare, ive been to the hospital twice with chest pains, head tingling, and also my brain feels like it has a blanket over it and its not going away. I went to the er and they did nothing for me except give me an anxiety medication that did nothing. its been a god awful expierence for me and im hoping it will go away so I can be normal again. I use mmj edibles to go to sleep at night and now i cant feel the effects theyre completely gone. Im glad you are ok because this really sucks.
I’m sorry to hear that. If you were prescribed anti-anxiety meds, have you followed up with a therapist or your primary care physician? You don’t have to go through what you’re going through alone
i have followed up with my pcp he is also a neurologist which made me a little more at ease until he told me its all in my head and to take more ativan. i dont like taking pills i barely can stomach my daily vitamins so it kinda upsets me that these doctors are teling me that im just making it up in my head i know my body and i know when something is wrong and now its slowly going away but my blood pressure is fairly high now all the time and my vision is getting blurry, i pretty much quit mmj since its useless for me at this point but my hope that itll go away one day is still there
That was basically how I felt when I actually had Covid. I will say I had a few lasting side effects. Not bad just the taste and smell stuff and a little numbness in my fingers and toes.
Got my Janssen shot 4 days ago.. 8 hours after my shot, i experienced fever and chills and i felt like I am so dehydrated and hungry! So i took paracetamol! didn't sleep well because i was palpitating due to fever. The next day, I felt body pains, fever, weak body and always hungry (weird 😆). And then that night, i felt great and i slept well! When i woke up the next morning, i felt completely fine like nothing's happened. my body was recharged lol and today, i feel great! ❤️🙏🏻
At least you guys had the shots... Here in Holland we are going so slow it is just sad and humorous at the same time. I will have mine in September earliest... By then the first ones will be worn off...
Good to know. Was wondering how you were doing. I felt weak and spaced out yest(Pfizer 1st dose) but ran a little anyway. Not 100% yet today but slowly getting better. Looking to put these days behind us!!
Hope you feel better soon. I had the AstraZenaca vaccine and my main side effect was tiredness. This was last Tuesday (6th April) only now do I feel better whilst running. Compared to some people I feel I got away lightly with the side effects. Take it easy.
Got the JJ shot last night. I have multiple sclerosis and I'm feeling the same symptoms. My pain is a little high due to my MS, but for the most part, I'm just really tired. Note: I'm definitely getting severe headaches, but it's slowly going away.
@@ITPsychicMedium It's been 6 days since I got the shot. So far it's been ok, but yesterday I started to get a cold/sinus headache, not sure if this is related to the shot. I'm hoping by the end of this week I'll start to feel better. The pain finally went away on Sunday. Good luck!
Its strange hearing someone suffer worse side effects than my actual experience with the virus. I am still planning on getting the vaccine but I am little nervous about the side effects lol.
Mike, don't take the vaccine. I think I already had it too. I thought it was the flu, but it was bad. I was good in 5 days though. Immune system like superman.
January 2020. I'm pretty sure that covid was spreading well before they knew about covid. And it coincided with the flu season, so how many think they had the flu, might've had covid.
My brother in law had the J&J vaccine administered on his left arm on April 4th. Next day he woke up with half of his body on the sitting of the injection paralyzed for two days straight..He is much better now but scary shit to go through..He's never had covid either
I didn’t take a day off after my first shot, and my 6 mile run felt really, really sluggish. Probably I’m not going to do it for the second and would 100% recommend to use it as a rest day.
I got the shot in the morning ang went for a run later in the day and ran ok. No aches but I felt tired, but no other side effects. Girlfriend was the same. The next day it was as if we were normal. We are in our 60s.
Got Janssen vax 2 weeks ago, on June 2nd. Only had notable symptoms on Day 1 and Day 2. From night of Day 1 and throughout most of Day 2, experienced: mild chills and headache, increased sensitivity of nerves, higher fever than after flu shot, moderately high body aches/pain (especially on shoulder blades on morning of Day 2, like dozens of needles stabbing me), and moderate fatigue leading to drowsiness. So all in all, felt a cascade of six side effects. Worse than flu shot, but not as much debilitation as 2nd dose Pfizer vax caused for my mother.
Glad you got the Vaccine! I had the real deal a year ago and man the first 24h of aches and pain with the covid are basically just like the first mile of a marathon. It goes on and on and on after that first day. Definitely a better deal to get the Vaccine :) Also Blood Clots with the J&J have so far only been observed in women. And in Europe with AZ its been almost exclusively women. So you should not lose too much sleep over it.
It's also occurred in men. " In a report to the FDA, J&J said that a 25-year-old male trial volunteer in its Phase 3 trial had suffered blood clotting in the brain".
My husband and I got j&j shot yesterday noon and I didnt feel anything bad the whole afternoon, but my husband started to feel tired after8hours of getting the shot. He slept early that night but I stayed up until 11:30 and decide to sleep. But then it hit me hard, didnt get a chance to sleep I wake up every hour and then I experience chill, and today We never leave the bed, everything aches, bad headache feel tired and so exhausted, have mild fever, everything you experienced is what we dealing today. I hope we get better tomorrow.
Oooh Yoo Whats Going On!! 🤙🏼,Glad that you are recovered now, I received my 2nd dose yesterday from Pfizer, arm pain was the only side effect, and I got the Virus on January and only lost the taste and smell for a week and a half.
Got mine two days ago. I can confirm the hot and cold feelings, fatigue, low grade fever, and frequent urination. I didn’t have much soreness. Lasted about a day and notes I feel normal…so far🤞🏾.
@@songforguy1 I’m doing good. I didn’t feel a thing after my second shot. A friend of mine got the second moderna vaccine shot and he had the chills on the second day. He went to sleep and woke up fine. He hasn’t had any body aches or chills since the shot.
I got Pfizer and had flu like symptoms both times. Totally zapped, very achy. Hoping this won’t be a yearly thing or I’ll just have to plan on getting my booster on a Friday to have the weekend to get over it.

I had the Janssen vaccine last year in June 2021. Now in June 2022, I have a cyst over the right side of my thyroid and severe shoulder pain. I had to say no to the booster...
Who you think you're out of the woods? Lol
Went about my life as usual.
nice.
I felt like the actual injection itself was a bit more painful than a flu shot but less so than a tetanus shot.
I didn't feel pain from the injection. But now after 1 full year I have severe shoulder pain & a cyst developed 3 over my thyroid :(
@@meghnaelizabeth8293 I still have the cyst. They biopsied for cancer, it was negative. Good luck

@@jamesneal057 no worries James. You did the right thing. 95% of hospitalizations as of this post are people that aren’t vaccinated.
It's been 24 hours after my vaccine. I have zero symptoms. Literally nothing except arm soreness.
I would bet you're not older than 30 or 35.

I would not have gotten it, if it weren't for my job requiring a mask if I didn't. I'd have to lie every day if I didn't wanna wear the mask.
I'm sure they'd fire me too. Sucks. But whatever. You only live once anyway. 🤦♂️🤷
You have a strong immune system then, congratulations.
same on the spot also. one days of lying in the floor not usually slep to much. after that day in the afternoon i rode i bike which i usually does. and i felt good this night. i took a shower this night because i ddnt have a shower last night. caused of feeling of tiredeness.
Im looking for this one.Where can i do it.thank u
thank you for getting vaccinated
I got the same vaccine last Friday and had to take 2 days off from running as well . There was still a sense of heaviness to everything Monday and kinda Tuesday . But , starting to feel back to normal 👍🏽 Hope you recovery well Kofuzi !
Glad to hear things are starting to feel good again!
God I just got my JJ shot an hour ago...now I'm terrified lol at least I don't go back to work til Tuesday so I should feel better by then
Have you taken any boosters yet? If so, which ones Brandon? How did you felt afterwards
Poison yourself for “the species” makes perfect sense.
Hello? Update?
Update madam
Well?
Thanks for sharing your experience Michael. I think sharing our experiences helps to demystify vaccination for people, even if it's not positive, people can feel more confident and prepared.
I had major problems / side effects from Johnson & Johnson. I was recently vaccinated 2/12/22. I regret taking the shot so much!
Lmfao, are you still alive?🤪🤪🤪
Holy shit. Yeah J&J is being put on hold in a few countries atm. Thanks for the personal information about what you went through 🙏🏽

Interesting. I had the J&J two weeks ago, had zero side effects.

I had side effects like those from the moderna, both doses. It took me three days to feel 100% again but it was ROUGH.
Thank you for the sacrifice

You’re lucky. A friend of mine who is fairly young nearly died, and he still has trouble breathing almost a year later.

Had my second shot of Moderna on Monday, and began feeling sick in the evening. Body aches all night and the following day, nausea, feeling of heaviness, and a low grade fever. Felt much better today, but decided against running myself as I still felt like I didn't have enough energy and didn't want to push myself.
you'll be back out there in no time. thanks for getting vaccinated!
The way you went through I’m going exactly through at the moment. What a awful feeling. I’m hoping I’ll be better tomorrow as you said . Thanks
How did it go?

Sorry you are feeling the side effects but thank you for being so open and honest about your experience.
Thanks!
I had no side effects. 🤓 I took my concoction the week before in double doses. It worked....no issues.
Yes a strong immune system knows when it’s being poisoned.
So sorry to hear you had such a hard time! I got the J&J, had a very mild fever, a little bit of headache and my shoulder was sore for a few days. Great to hear you're on the mend!
How are you going now mate?
Doh!
ah, the ol foldgers crystals secret switch!
Had J&J last week. I felt chills when I was about to go to bed then woke up sweaty, had low-grade fever but everything was fine by the 3d day. Have no regrets for taking this lovely single-dose shot. And the side effects aren't that different than a regular flu shot, maybe just a level higher.
damn, if i had side effects from flu shots, I would never take it ever again.
At 71 had the J&J vaccine back in April. Sore arm for a few days - 0 side effects.

They've said the odds are 1 in 40k, that's alot higher than the numbers reported.
That's hilarious.....

Hi how are you feeling now?

Proud of you dude.

Why would the side effects be worse in those with strong immune systems?
The aches and fever are our immune system at work, so the stronger the immune system the more intense the side effects

Everything about this video - SAME. Hope my post didn't scare you, but at least you're through the tough part of it!

My covjd symptoms were less and I definitely got a better, more robust response than a vaccine.

great to hear!
At least you guys had the shots... Here in Holland we are going so slow it is just sad and humorous at the same time. I will have mine in September earliest... By then the first ones will be worn off...
Here in Germany J&J is available for everyone
Good to know. Was wondering how you were doing. I felt weak and spaced out yest(Pfizer 1st dose) but ran a little anyway. Not 100% yet today but slowly getting better. Looking to put these days behind us!!
Have you gotten the second dose
Thanks for sharing. I also received the J&J on Monday. 100% spot on with the side effects. Hoping Thursday can get back out for an easy run.
Hope you feel better soon. I had the AstraZenaca vaccine and my main side effect was tiredness. This was last Tuesday (6th April) only now do I feel better whilst running. Compared to some people I feel I got away lightly with the side effects. Take it easy.
I got a good friend in her second hospital visit after Cansino vax.
I did too
Got the JJ shot last night. I have multiple sclerosis and I'm feeling the same symptoms. My pain is a little high due to my MS, but for the most part, I'm just really tired. Note: I'm definitely getting severe headaches, but it's slowly going away.
Thank you for sharing. I have multiple autoimmune issues and I'm getting JJ in two days. I'm fairly scared.
Don’t do it
Why would someone whose had the covid get the shot??
You don't need a vaccine if you had it.
Get well soon !
I read the same thing for the Sputnik V vaccine, just a couple of cases mostly men. Glad he has recovered
Had same symptoms as you!! At the end I had a bad headache and the light hurt my eyes.
Got mine yesterday and it is kicking my butt! Never gotten a feeling like this
How are you feeling now? :O
I am about to get it too
@@lucash.7793 day 3 back to normal
Definitely a better deal to get the Vaccine :)
Also Blood Clots with the J&J have so far only been observed in women. And in Europe with AZ its been almost exclusively women. So you should not lose too much sleep over it.
More specifically women with certain compounds in their blood and possibly from a certain birth control.
It's also occurred in men. " In a report to the FDA, J&J said that a 25-year-old male trial volunteer in its Phase 3 trial had suffered blood clotting in the brain".
@@asmrfoodieuk7965 good info to know, thanks for the update
How are you feeling now?
Lasted about a day and notes I feel normal…so far🤞🏾.
thanks for getting vaccinated!
I had Pfizer. First shot I had a sore arm for a week. The second shot , I felt nothing. The nurse told me to stay hydrated.
Had the same shot a week ago Friday evening. My upper arm became sore later that night, Saturday and Sunday. Waiting to get my second dose.
How are you going now?
@@songforguy1 I’m doing good. I didn’t feel a thing after my second shot. A friend of mine got the second moderna vaccine shot and he had the chills on the second day. He went to sleep and woke up fine. He hasn’t had any body aches or chills since the shot.
@@nativebluelake thanks mate, good to hear your doing well.
I got Pfizer and had flu like symptoms both times. Totally zapped, very achy. Hoping this won’t be a yearly thing or I’ll just have to plan on getting my booster on a Friday to have the weekend to get over it.
