That is pretty much my vaccination story, too. The J&J shot did hurt and hit me hard after around 9 hours with very high and very fast rising fever (from 37 to 40 degreee Celsius within 2 hours), dumbness in my limbs, tachycardia, chills and attacks of sweating. My wife who is a nurse told me afterwards that according to her professional experience she thought i was going to die. She took care for me all night long. After three days i was able to do sports again. The Pfizer booster shot was barely noticeable and mild symptoms (tiredness) started around 20 hours later. But since the Pfizer shot i sometimes forget thinga and are confused or not able to speak without mistakes. I also felt chest pain a few times during sports and my Performance during sports has significantly reduced so that people even asked me what is wrong with me.

This made me feel safe. I had the J&J booster about 5 months ago and scheduled for a Pfizer booster this month. I'm also Asian and this is a good reference just to see you're fine so that means I will be too. 🤣 Will come back here after my booster. UPDATE: I just had my Pfizer Biontech booster yesterday. Damn. I had a hard time sleeping. I kept having chills & fever.
for example, I think @I dominated the air in my chips bag is someone who is looking for places to yell at people. And I think @KP is a burner account he created to make it look like someone is agreeing with him wherever he goes on the internet.
Hello Mr Kofuzi!! Me having done J&J with a booster also by J&J in 2022, may i ask you, did you continued to get covid 19 vaccine afterwards? Or did you stopped vaccinate after these 2 doses? How are you today? Did you get covid 19 or not at all? Thank you in advance for your answers!! Keep running!!
I had my J&J shot about 5 months ago and just yesterday I had my J&J booster. So far in the past 18 hours, I only feel sore on my arm and feeling a bit tired. However, no dizyness or any serious problems occured. Overall, so far so good!
I got the J&J in March and just got the Pfizer booster yesterday. So far, I’m only feeling a sore arm and no flu symptoms like I had after the first dose.
Had J&J originally as well. I got moderna booster. Zero side effects outside a sore shoulder (guess I got lucky). I ran 6 the following day. No heart rate variation.
Thanks for posting this. I got j&j back in april and that was awful. I was sick for over 30 hrs. About 12-24hrs I could hardly even move and could barely walk to the bathroom. My blood pressure was stage 2 and lightly bleeding out of my nose even days later. I tried to go fishing one morning caught one fish 3 cast. Tossed him in my bag and decided to leave. I had to stop 3x to catch my breath walking up the boat ramp. Which is way not normal for me. J&j was horrible experience. Took me a week to feel better and more normal. Just got pfizer booster today. I feel tired and my arm is sore, but that is all so far. Had it 5hrs ago. Hoping this goes way better.
You get no "thank you for taking the booster" usual generic comment from the youtuber haha, the truth is a bitch..no 🐑 wants to hear the crazy side effects like "pots" Google that effect..y'all just want to hear the rosy bits
I got j&j in April and got my Pfizer booster yesterday, so far so good I was hit hard with the j&j the following day but with this booster I only feel fatigue and definitely can agree this arm pain was more sore then the initial one but overall so far so good! Thanks for sharing your experience!
My experience was similar. My J&J was back in March. I had nausea the day after(it felt like motion sickness). Then my Pfizer booster was 12 days ago. I had a little fatigue the day after, but not bad.
Saw you running this morning on the Lakefront. I was running the ultramarathon. Thanks for the video. Will take my booster shot next week. You are the best!
@@dainerduff-dings the presumption in your question is that a person should only be thankful is someone else does something that benefits themself. I don't live like that. we run as a pack.
Back in march i received the J&J first doze, i was doing fine until night time , flu like symptoms started showing, chills, low grade fever, body aches, pain on my arm but other than that i did just fine, i will definitely get the Pfizer booster shot i believe this is the best option for me thanks for sharing your experience.
I had a Moderna booster to my initial J&J. Low-grade fever and achey, starting ~18 hours after the vaccine, and the effects lasted about 18 hours. Got the shot on a Wednesday night, and after sleeping Thursday night (waking up Friday morning) I was all good. The side effects didn't prevent me from doing anything. And also, saw the same elevated heart rate and same arm aches. Glad you acknowledge vaccines unlike other running TH-camrs, like a human being living in present times
Thanks for the info! I had the J&J shot in March and just got my Pfizer booster this morning. 8 hours later I have a sore arm but not chills or fever yet. I do recall getting the chills when I had the J&J. I do hope to squeeze in a 10k this weekend...
Thanks- I share the same scenario as you. I got J&J 6 months ago and Pfizer just an hour ago. This helped me get a sense of what I might expect (realizing people react differently). I was most interested in knowing whether I can run soon.
Ah, man... Thanks. This video helped me a little. I'm. Still afraid 😨 of getting it but my job is forcing me... So it's like what do I do.... Ah, man....
I had the j&j for my first shot and just received the moderna booster. I had symptoms at our the 12 hour mark and lasted about 24. The symptoms were fever, chills, headache and nausea overall not too terrible. Thank you for getting boosted and giving an amazing environment to share experiences!
I got the JNJ in April and had been confused as to which booster to get. My arm were severely soar and I had some tightness in my legs. Ultrasound showed wall was well with the JNJ but have concerns about mixing and matching. Praying about my decision and happy to be reading these comments and for this link.
this would be a great question to ask your physician. if you don't have a physician, if you go to a clinic or vaccine center, I am sure they could help. I've provided in this video my thoughts on mixing and matching and how much time a person should spend wondering which booster to get. and unless things have changed recently, my understanding is that Pfizer or Moderna would be the preferred booster to J&J unless either is contraindicated.
I had jj back in march. I’m glad to have came across this video because I do not want jj again with the blood clot risk! I was worried to switch over as well. I will get Pfizer on Monday. Maybe tomorrow if my job (hospital) has clinic sundays. Monday for sure.
I’m a healthcare worker so I got my Pfizer vaccines back in March. I just got a Pfizer booster today and I have to say I’m feeling weird. Arm is pretty sore, slight headache, no fever but I do have chills. It’s been about 12 hours. If it’s anything like my second dose, I’ll probably feel better by tomorrow
Had the Johnson vaccine back in June ,it really went well for me ,some low grade fever for couple of hours and nothing more ,33 hours ago got Pfizer booster shot ,I had a low grade fever which got a little worse tonight but nothings annoying ,just posted that comment for anyone that is worried getting a booster Pfizer shot
same combo as well, did my Pfizer booster on Sunday... that shot felt like it stung/burned going in. Took acetamorphin just in case and I've been good since, except for a slight headache and an arm ache. Felt like I was hungover a day after my J&J, but good after that. I'm thankful for very minimal effects as of now.
thanks sharing your experience and creating a space for others to share theirs. I am also planning on getting this combination of shots and this really helped ease my concerns :)
me i got my booster shot Pfizer recently only ..I felt my warm heavy. but no chill at all..Thanks for the info its reallyl lot of me sir..Keepsafe and Godbless🙏
Got the Pfizer booster yesterday, 23 hrs ago. My immune system response to the Pfizer booster very similar to the initial J&J shot. Fatigue and headache was setting in around 2 hrs after the shot and my muscles hurt like crazy, setting in around 17 hrs later. The response to the Pfizer booster is actually stronger in my case
I got my J&J vaccine in March, and I received my Pfizer booster last Thursday. I felt great, I only had a sore arm. However, on Tuesday I started having flu symptoms, and by Wednesday I was so weak. Today, I’m a little dizzy, my cough is gone (thanks to Delsym,) but I still feel like I need two more days of rest… That delayed response snuck up on me…
Thanks for the video! I ended up getting three Prizer shots. The worst was the 2nd one when I had some flu-like symptoms and chills. I got the booster at the same time as the flu shot. One in each arm. Like you, the Prizer arm got pretty sore. I also had a similar reaction to you in that I never felt really bad but was a bit down on energy for a day or two. Very small price to pay for added protection against that nasty SARS virus! Even more so since I will soon turn 65.
Btw my j&j shot felt like I was stabbed in the arm - my whole arm was immediately sore and stayed that was for several days! I was prepared for another stab but this booster was just a pinch, what a relief. 😅
I’m glad I found this video, it definitely helped me feel better about getting a Pfizer booster. I had J+J back in March and Pfizer booster on 12/28. Tested + for omicron on 1/6 after taking care of my sick parents from New Years. Definitely not enough time for the booster to fully work but for what its worth I have minimal symptoms it’s mostly just annoying nasal stuff. I had no side effects from the booster just a sore arm for 1 day, had more symptoms after original vaccine.
I got Moderna with my last dose in February, just got my Moderna booster in January... day two I woke up with golf ball-sized axillary lymph nodes lol, definitely not pleasant with tenderness but hopefully it goes away in the coming weeks.
37yo lady here who had J&j in March and Pfizer booster 12/4… it took me out the next day, glued to the couch, in and out of naps with the chills and aches all day. I had pretty much the same response to the j&j as well. 🤷♀️ It’s two days later now and I’m still fatigued but up and at em. Some soreness has moved from the arm to the armpit, and lymph soreness/swelling was cited as common so I expected that. Anyway, don’t plan to do anything the day after your booster - have snacks and easy meals ready to go. 🤘
I took AZ, first dose i had barely secundary effects (mild headache and arm ache) i ran 9km the day of the shot and about 12 the day after. The second dose give me hangover-like symptoms and again arm-ache i went just for a short easy run, the next day i was totally ok... Greetings from Spain and keep up the good work!
That is pretty much my vaccination story, too. The Pfizer booster shot was barely noticeable and mild symptoms (tiredness) started around 20 hours later. But since the Pfizer shot i sometimes forget things and are confused or have speech dropouts. I also felt chest pain a few times during sports and my performance during sports has noticably reduced so that people even asked me what is wrong with me.
I had my j&j shot in June of last year and my Pfizer booster in December. I had a sore arm for a couple of days were i got my shot. No side effects thank you Jesus.
i had the phizer booster about 3 weeks ago and the last week as been very strange no 1 eyesight has really deteriorated no2 severe nuasua at night and fever and 3 i had to get a diabetics test as im pissing all night but i very larfagic during the day specially when eat anything with sugar so i would be very careful with the vaccines
We got jj and pfizer around same time. I got pfizer, tetanus, and flu shot all at once. Besides my arms hurting, I actually felt better the next day and into the next week. It also correlated with me getting more sleep after a brutal work week, though.
My Covid experiences are as follows: Tested positive a year ago and only had a minor cough without any other symptoms. Got the PFizer shots Feb/Mar with some fatigue the next day, no other side effects. Got my booster couple of weeks ago before running a 10K and had absolutely no side effects at all. Got a regular flu shot a few days after my booster Covid. Good genetics, Karma?
Hi Ray-I vote for Karma, because a strong reaction is considered by some to be indicative of a robust immune system, which I trust I have since I either never contracted Covid or if I did, I had no symptoms or thought I had a common cold (which happened around the end of 2019). This is not to say the vaccine isn’t doing its job if you don’t get side effects; it’s apparently not clear cut. But I think I have pretty good genes to be running the way I do at this stage in my life! 😂
@@levandmarthapolyakin-aaron2183 Yes, testing positive but not having much of a reaction certainly gave me lots of natural anti-bodies. But many people with strong immune systems have died once they got Covid. I got my vaccination and subsequent booster as an insurance policy. I am a full time Lyft driver and exposed to the public in close quarters all the time. For my safety, as well as theirs, getting the vaccine was the right thing to do. I wish everyone of their own volition would get the vaccine.
@@TheChessPlayer1956 i just wish everyone could have a similar "you protect me, i'll protect you" mindset, even in the simplest of terms. unfortunately....
That ist really interesting, had J&J first and my Pfizer boost shot on thursday. Side effects nearly the same. HR higher, slept nearly 9 hours and a bit swollen armpit on my left arm. Thanks for sharing your experience.
My first J&J shot did not cause any significant side effects beside minor soreness for a day in the injection site. But my J&J booster shot definitely had side effects- whole body aches, a fever, and just a general shitty feeling. You’d think for a lesser dose, this wouldn’t be a problem!
I feel like shizz like I normally don't get sick and this Pfizer boost hit me like a school bus. Body ache, joint pain, headache/dizzy, cough, runny nose and slept most of it. Hate these shots
The side effects of my first shot (AstraZeneca) hit me pretty hard, chills after 10 hrs, and under the weather the following day. No running the whole week. Secons shot (Biontech-Pfizer) with almost no effects. Didn't run for two days but just as precaution.
This puts me at ease! I’m getting the Pfizer booster tomorrow, and got J&J back in April. J&J gave me every symptom: fever, massive headache, chills, fatigue, muscle and joint pain, nausea, etc. hoping Pfizer will be easy in comparison.
How did it go for you then bbtank3000? I am going to be in the same situation. J&J in April. Caused fever, major headache, fatigue, pain, nausea, etc. Little nervous about Pfizer when I go to get it… TIA!
thank you, i just recieved the J&J last month and have been worried about which booster to get. I had pretty strong side effects from the initial dose and have been hearing alot of bad side effect stories about moderna booster. guess im going to go with Phizer
Had to Johnson & Johnson vaccine back in March and got the Pfizer booster last night.. For the first 12 hours I felt nothing, then I developed a low grade fever and a stiff neck on the side where I got the shot.
No booster for me, thank you...first Johnson and Johnson shot gave me heart pain for 4 days and feeling heavy and bloated in my pelvis and nuts sack for 2 days.
Here it goes again, but worded differently... I have a friend that was fully needled. He still got the you-know-what, and nearly died twice. He had a fev er of 104.2. He now has a sev ere brain fog, and can't concentrate on any conversation
the thing is, Eric, I just don't believe you. it's not your fault that I don't believe you, it's just the way the internet is regarding this (and a handful of other tightly OAN-correlated issues). I haven't heard from your friend. I don't know your friend from Niki Minaj's cousin in Trinidad. to me, it all sounds like stuff that is made up on some Facebook group or Parler thread and then reposted multiple times elsewhere on the internet. but, let's take your comment at face value. I am sorry that your friend had a breakthrough case. I'm also sorry that it was a severe one. Thank goodness that your friend is still alive.
Had my J&J almost 6 months ago and will be boosted with Pfizer tomorrow. Hopefully I might experience more or less the same side effects as you did, since I also wouldn't want to miss a few days (or heaven forbid, a full week or more) of workouts lol 😆
Thank you for you video. I had two previous doses of the Pfizer. Nov 2020, & Jan 2021. The second dose upon waking the next day, I had mild nausea and dizziness that resolved itself in the first hour of waking. However, throughout the day I had mild nausea but did not prevent me from drinking and eating. 24 hrs ago I received my 3 rd Pfizer booster in the morning around 10am. I was fine all day but noticed my injection site was getting 7/10 uncomfortable and swollen. I took 600mg of ibuprofen and went to bed normally that evening. I awoke around 3am with fever, body aches, headache. Miserable. I. Again dosed myself w/ ibuprofen but felt extremely wiped out. Like a terrible flu w/o respiratory symptoms. Additionally, my cheek sinuses ached and even felt some numbness in right cheek and pain in a past surgical scar on my chest. I continued to hydrate w/water and slept into 10am. Had a Greek yogurt And blueberries w/another dose ibuprofen. 2 hours passed and I felt like doing some Christmas shopping for a couple hours only to take myself to bed again noticing achy flu like symptoms headache stiff neck and sore muscles. 24 hrs Swelling has subsided at injection site. Hoping to get back to normal after a good rest tonight. For the record I’m 52 Y/0 I m a healthy person, spin and road bike at high intensities, lift weights 2-3x/day and am rarely if ever, ill with bacterial or Viral infections. I think It’s important to share our vaccine experiences. Peace and be well!
sounds like your immune system is responding well. it's pretty much what I felt like on my first round. glad to hear the swelling has quickly resolved and that you will be getting back to normal soon. thanks for getting the booster!
Had 2 Pfizer originally then a Pfizer booster and my flu shot ten days ago, was out for a couple days feeling crappy but back on the road and in the muddy trails again.🤘😎🏃♂️
scheduled the pfizer for tomorrow. Had the J&J back in April. It is impossible finding J&J around where I am. Here is hoping the side effects are minor.
Thanks for sharing this, hopefully the reaction is positive, my experience was similar and basically it just resulted in a rest day which I should take more of anyway.
I could use more rest days, too. I rearranged my workouts for the week so that days off from running due to the vaccine would coincide with rest days I would need
I received J&j yesterday.my arm hurts, feeling sick to stomach off and on. The discomfort for me is my left thigh is extremely hot and painful. It feels like It's been on a heating pad too long. 😩
You must be mad or just came out under the rock . Now they inject the strongest poison only for those few remain complete idiots who still didn’t learn nothing !
Becareful youtubers, they will take down any youtube videos that share negative things about the booster shots. It's better just to ask the people you know what side effects they got.
Unfortunately, my side effects with the pfizer booster is not good. I had a bad allergic reaction and there were rashes all over my body. My doctor gave me meds and the rashes somehow alleviated. But it gets really itchy. It happened 24 hours after the booster shot. I also had a headache the whole after the shot was done.
I got my J&J last april. Then the booster on sunday I was preparing for my reaction to be the same as the J&J which took me out for a couple days with a little fever and cold. The Pfizer booster I slept in a little longer. Woke up a little lightheaded/dizzy drank some water and still got a light workout in. Going to sleep a little earlier today and hopefully be back hitting it hard tomorrow.
@@kofuzi I don't know what happened here but the simple fact that you have so many subscribers and you still try to clean up your comment section, I appreciate that as a tall order.
Initially got J&J vaccine but yesterday got Moderna for my booster. Side effect was really just localized pain in the injection site and slight fever. Went away less then a day. I had more of a reaction to the J&J shot which gave me chills and mid fever (no injection pain) that went away as soon as I took a Tylenol. Everyone in different
Hope it goes well for you. Would suck to miss CIM. I wouldnt do any hard workouts for 2 weeks. Finally running a few miles a week after 7 months off due to Pfizer heart inflammation complications. Same age and health as you. I'm sure you'll be fine. Just listen to your heart if something is off.
Had a Pfizer booster after an initial Pfizer series. It took my shoulder out to the point where I couldn’t lift it. Lasted maybe three days until I was able to work out safely again. Still glad I got it.
I was J&J originally, Pfizer booster... Felt tired the next day with a headache. Lasted less than 12 hours. Watched Friends in bed for a few hours, went to bed... Done. Lol. Piece of cake.
Got jnj in end of july…. Do i need a booster? … the first jab gimme 7 days sickness…. I couldn’t find anysource that tell the first single shot. How long it will last… if 8 monts…it was fine for me.
"Regular person getting a booster" - hahha. This made me laugh. Cool analysis of your body metrics. My only side effect of Pfizer shot was mild arm pain for a couple hours. I didn't even think about looking at heart rate and sleep things.
Your experience is almost exactly the same as my own when I got my first pfizer doses back in March/April, low energy lethargy with a little bit of fogginess in my head. I got both my shots at around 5pm and slept on it similarly to yourself, and felt comfortable going for a very short & easy run within 24 hours. I'm curious what a booster will be like having originally received pfizer, probably the same but it's still mildly intriguing to me. edit: spelling error
I also got my JJ vaccine in April and didn't have any symptoms, nothing. Maybe an arm sore a bit but nothing major. I'm scared to get Pfizer or moderna because i have a feeling i will get sick and i can't be sick now. Also, i can't find JJ booster anywhere. Some says JJ is good, some say is not. Not sure.. I think i will take my chances without booster.
We just have to pray. I had no systems like you with J & J in April. Honestly, I did so well with J&J & would hate to get sick from the others. Such a shame we have to be worried about this craziness
@@kofuzi - Well, I was sipping a smidgeon of cognac the day I got the 3rd shot and my sore arm had me tossing and turning a a lot during the night - so, probably, it was a combination of all of the above. But, I'm fine now - totally fine.
I got my 2nd Pfizer shot on Friday night. The next morning I felt OK with just a small headache; but well enough to do some errands. The afternoon I felt a little fatigued and took a nap. But by nighttime that's when I started to feel stronger side effects like chills and body aches. I just drank hot green tea and took a hot bath.
Thank you for sharing! Enjoy the kiddos singing in the background. My 18 yrs old son and I received (he is a runner also) the JnJ vaccine originally together, he had a horrible experience. Hope He will get a booster soon than later. I had chills and headache however agree it was very painful . Just received the Moderna booster 24 hrs ago so far just arm pain and fatigue, but the fatigue and brain fog could be my Fantastic fibromyalgia
Thanks for posting this one! I did Pfizer in round one myself. Not sure if I should get my booster before my December marathon.... Though it's likely the best idea!
Interesting content! Got my J&J in April like you and I had some pretty harsh side effects. I have a marathon in 3 weeks and I don’t want to risk so no booster for me atm. did you do any research about the mix and matching with other vaccines? I was thinking to boost still with J&J but didn’t find many info on the mixed vaccines approach
@MrPrestif-Mix and match has been officially endorsed as safe, and even advantageous in some cases (eg if your first dose was J&J or AstraZeneca), based on the news I’ve watched and read over the last couple of weeks. Like Kofuzi, not giving medical advice! But for the record, I got my Pfizer booster 3 weeks before traveling to Boston Marathon and was fine in 36 hrs. I wanted to be sure I had time if there was any lingering fatigue for a few days. I was more concerned with the amount of people I’d be mingling with between the traveling, the Expo, & the race….We also got our flu shots about a week later, and had no problems. However, we were at the 6 1/2 month point after Pfizer dose 2. If you aren’t as far along, you can better afford to wait until afterward. Have a great marathon! Martha
@@levandmarthapolyakin-aaron2183 Martha, have you already got your 3rd booster, and which one? I feel that I am getting behind, many have already 3 in their systems and even 4 and I feel insecure by just having 1
Thanks For Posting -------------------- I had J&J back in May (was told it was One And Done) and Just got the Pfizer booster today. which is 8 1/2 months apart. so far so good on the side effects. My question is what now? do I get a 2nd Pfizer shot in 2 weeks or am I all finished? The nurse at Walgreens was unsure. .
i think the needle pain is down to the technique of the person giving you the jab. my second AZ jab was way quicker less painful than the first one. same vaccine.
is it normal after getting the pfizer booster nothing happened yet i was expecting to have a headache or hard to breath but its seem okay the dr asked me not to exercise for a week but just within 3 days i just cycling for 30km still im fine. but im still expecting how things will go this week.
for the vaccine, I've been suggesting to people to schedule two days off, two days easy, and then back to regular training schedule. the booster for me felt a bit easier to manage. I think I took the next day off and the following day easy
Im afraid of throw up, is nausea is big side affect, is it garenteed? Is throwing up a symptom? Someone please tell me in getting vaccinated tmr and I’m really scared
I don't know of anyone who has gotten nausea from it. but they will be able to tell you if you call your doctor's office. and they can also tell you when you go to get the vaccine
Still waiting for my booster, but sounds as if your symptoms have been fairly mild. Glad that you’ve been able to get back to training. It’s the only way through this pandemic 😷 👍🏃♂️
How was your experience compare to initial j&j shot? I had also one shot in April and thinking of getting pfizer booster. How are you feeling after booster?
Sounds like my first Pfizer shot. Had body aches for 2 days arm pain couldn’t lift it above my head. Had some weird headaches that came in waves… got my second shot today hopefully won’t be too bad
Really appreciate this video and your original J&J video. I haven’t received the vaccine yet. My job is requiring it and I am filing for an exemption but if I do go through with it then it is good to know what the side effects are for other athletes.
I don’t believe fitness is predictive of side effects from vaccines. It’s more related to your particular immune system response, which has no bearing either on the vaccine doing its job. In my humble opinion it’s well worth a day or 2 of feeling funky to not have to gamble on what could be a serious illness that could potentially affect your life for a long time….or not. But I don’t want to rely on luck, The worst side effects I’ve had from any vaccine ever were the 2-dose shingles shots. But I had shingles once and shingles is way worse!
@@levandmarthapolyakin-aaron2183 true. I know people who have had the side effects of just a sore arm from the vaccine to being really sick and still dealing with some long term issues. Same with actually getting Covid. Some asymptomatic to in the hospital. For me the bigger overall annoyance with combating covid and just healthcare in general is the lack of attention to overall health. Exercising, getting people to a healthy weight, diet, mental well being, etc. in this case it’s just “wear your mask, stay away from people and get vaccinated. But keep eating that fast food constantly and binging Netflix.” Not disputing any of those things but I feel like more could be done and provided for people to live a happier and healthier life. But then again, there is no money in getting people healthy…
Hey Carl, I hope you won’t let your concerns in one area of public health discourage you from participating in another facet of public health. I share your frustration with a lack of preventative healthcare, but please consider whether you might be indulging in an analogous form of unhealthy lifestyle behavior by seeking an exemption.
@@CarlZ17007 All good points and I naturally agree with you about the importance of diet and exercise. There isn’t enough emphasis on prevention here, hence the epidemic of Type 2 diabetes, most of which could be avoided. Still, one can’t ignore the fact that healthy, young and very fit people have died from Covid, or short of that, ended up with their lungs ruined by “Long Covid”. A lot of it seems to hinge on luck and the amount of viral load people were exposed to. Since microbes are invisible, I’d rather err on the side of caution and do whatever I can in all respects to stay healthy. Thank you for your thoughtful reply. Martha
Thanks for the replies. I think it is good to have these discussions. So many times people are viewed and judged by one opinion or thing they do without getting the entire picture. The exemption I am seeking is a religious one but I do have high hopes for the Novavax covid 19 vaccine. I believe they just approved it for emergency use in Indonesia and it should be coming to the US in 2022. Until then I have no problem wearing a mask and socially distancing.

I had to do this in reverse. I got the Moderna first but was highly allergic. I had to wait because there was no guidance for me. I read all of the studies and got the J&J before it was approved as a second dose. I breezed through my second dose with the J&J. A very slight fever for a few hours and the next day felt fine. Sore arm but nothing that was terrible. Since then, I've learned that mixing the vaccines as I did could be a good thing.

Overall, so far so good!
that's great! thanks for getting vaccinated!
Same here
Me too. No problem at all after the J&J booster.
I got the J&J in March and just got the Pfizer booster yesterday. So far, I’m only feeling a sore arm and no flu symptoms like I had after the first dose.
Thanks for getting the booster!
Had J&J originally as well. I got moderna booster. Zero side effects outside a sore shoulder (guess I got lucky). I ran 6 the following day. No heart rate variation.
Thx for making this video even though not everyone will like it! But it’s good to know what effects to look out for.
nice
How are you feeling now? Hopefully still good!
Thanks for sharing your experience!
thanks for getting the booster!
My experience was similar. My J&J was back in March. I had nausea the day after(it felt like motion sickness). Then my Pfizer booster was 12 days ago. I had a little fatigue the day after, but not bad.
thanks for getting the booster!
You are right. I got the 2nd pfizer vaccine, and it felt like motion sickness, and that i@ what caused the nauseau

exactly same with me, I felt it during night time
I had a Moderna booster to my initial J&J.

How was it? I had j&j back in April. I'm thinking of getting pfizer or moderna booster.
I’m a healthcare worker so I got my Pfizer vaccines back in March. I just got a Pfizer booster today and I have to say I’m feeling weird. Arm is pretty sore, slight headache, no fever but I do have chills. It’s been about 12 hours. If it’s anything like my second dose, I’ll probably feel better by tomorrow
sounds pretty mild. thanks for getting the booster!

same combo as well, did my Pfizer booster on Sunday... that shot felt like it stung/burned going in. Took acetamorphin just in case and I've been good since, except for a slight headache and an arm ache. Felt like I was hungover a day after my J&J, but good after that. I'm thankful for very minimal effects as of now.

I had no side effects from the booster just a sore arm for 1 day, had more symptoms after original vaccine.
glad to hear everyone is doing ok
that is a great recommendation!
I took AZ, first dose i had barely secundary effects (mild headache and arm ache) i ran 9km the day of the shot and about 12 the day after. The second dose give me hangover-like symptoms and again arm-ache i went just for a short easy run, the next day i was totally ok... Greetings from Spain and keep up the good work!
glad to hear it went smoothly
That is pretty much my vaccination story, too. The J&J shot did hurt and hit me hard after around 9 hours with very high and very fast rising fever (from 37 to 40 degreee Celsius within 2 hours), numbness in my limbs, tachycardia, chills and attacks of sweating. My wife who is a nurse took care for me all night long. After three days i was able to do sports again, after a week all numbness was gone. Doctors said that i have a good immune system and J&J is very reactive so that is why i had severe side effects. Nothing to worry about.
Thank you for sharing your experience.

The nurse at Walgreens was unsure. .
you're all set for now
Do you sleep with the polar hrm strap on? How comfortable is it? Monitor using Polar watch or app on the phone?
Im watching this while my arm is hurting like a mofo . Couldnt sleep last night because my while body was achy.i got my booster yesterday.
thanks for getting the booster!
i think the needle pain is down to the technique of the person giving you the jab. my second AZ jab was way quicker less painful than the first one. same vaccine.
I would agree with that
Just got my pfizer booster yesterday after a long run. I couldn't sleep on my left side and now a bit dizzy. Then lazy day it is!
Get that rest. You’ll be back out in no time!
So what if my 1st@2nd dose is Pfizer then this day I take J@J booster.can I ask this is safe or?
is it normal after getting the pfizer booster nothing happened yet i was expecting to have a headache or hard to breath but its seem okay the dr asked me not to exercise for a week but just within 3 days i just cycling for 30km still im fine. but im still expecting how things will go this week.
Got the j&j shot on july and just got my pfizer booster this morning. 11/30/21 i feel fine. Should i just skip running the next day?
for the vaccine, I've been suggesting to people to schedule two days off, two days easy, and then back to regular training schedule.
the booster for me felt a bit easier to manage. I think I took the next day off and the following day easy
@@kofuzi thank you sir
Im afraid of throw up, is nausea is big side affect, is it garenteed? Is throwing up a symptom? Someone please tell me in getting vaccinated tmr and I’m really scared
I don't know of anyone who has gotten nausea from it. but they will be able to tell you if you call your doctor's office. and they can also tell you when you go to get the vaccine
@@kofuzi thanks! :)
Thanks for sharing your experience with this!
Thanks for watching!
Still waiting for my booster, but sounds as if your symptoms have been fairly mild. Glad that you’ve been able to get back to training. It’s the only way through this pandemic 😷 👍🏃♂️
It was easier than I was expecting
How was your experience compare to initial j&j shot? I had also one shot in April and thinking of getting pfizer booster. How are you feeling after booster?
everything was a lot easier the second time around
Sounds like my first Pfizer shot. Had body aches for 2 days arm pain couldn’t lift it above my head. Had some weird headaches that came in waves… got my second shot today hopefully won’t be too bad
Hope it goes smoothly! Thanks for getting vaccinated!
Did anyone have any heart related side effects like palpitations, a slight raise in BP(within the first few days), etc.? Dizziness or feeling of vertigo? After booster and if so how long before all these symptoms dissappear and you felt like you were in the clear? I'm getting so much anxiety thinking reading all these posts about covid vaccine heart related myocarditis and things. Driving myself crazy.
This are common side effects you forgot sob(shortness of breath, shingles, nightmare, pots syndrome were your heartbeat races to 200 bpm when you ly down or sit but when you stand up it calm down to 70 bpm..crazy end times disease 😆
What were you allergic to?
