I dabble in web graphics and editing in slow season but i solo a lawn care business. I watched this mans ted talk and listened to him read aloud his own audio book Permission Marketing. That has me in such a different headspace that the thing i did for extra money on the weekend turned into a part time job and another part time job but both working for myself (labor and sales), and doubling the income i had made at any job. Then i started getting referrals and got branded tshirts, and a planning and crm software. I'm about to get into hiring and honestly i spend zero time advertising. I just make sure my truck is visible for breaks advertising. Oh i used door hangers last spring but my growth was from referrals and inquiries from neighbors and it happens organically.

People don't think long-term, they only think of short term goals and things that can make you reach there immediately. As we all know this content is long term brand or company building that can never fail.

let this marinate in your mind and you truly will start making humanity the guiding light and thinking in terms of service and actual consideration vs "pushing more", "grinding away", or any of that other marketing "guru" hockum.
one makes dollars now....and the other; it plants seeds of unimaginable wealth in many facets - heart, mind, wallet, culture, community.

    1. What is Marketing?
    Lesson 2
Marketing is simply a series of conversations between s brand or business and its audience/customers.
If you cant start or carry on a conversation with your target customer/audience, you won't have a chance at marketing to them.
