Everytime I hear this I progressively make it louder without noticing
It is 2023 I just left his show and he is still a bad ass rocker at age 67!! Long life Billy and thanks for all the great music that you created!!! ❤
HS friend of mine, Her daughters band ( The Foxies) got to open for him last year through the midwest, and this past year in Europe.. Julie talked about his energy doing the shows and he was being very helpful with guidance through their hopeful musical career
I've always heard Billy's a COOL guy in real life! ( that he's NOT arrogant)
Every time I hear it, my blood simply rises and the feeling takes me away even at the age of 42, it's a fantastic hit, I think it will stay up forever. 1000 thanks and thanks for it. Greetings from Hungary now in 2024. :)
I'm 50 and everytime I hear it I'm a teen in the 80s again loooove it

Lucky for you!!! To see a living legend perform in person such as the one and only, Billy Idol.
Steve Stevens! One of the most underrated musical figures of the 80s! Even wrote the Top Gun Theme, played guitar for Michael Jackson’s Dirty Diana and was Vince Neil’s guitarist for his solo album, all incredible work!
I absolutely agree!! I've always loved Steve!!
Masterpiece of rock, seriously, this song is just perfection from beginning to end, insane.
Epic 80's 💯💪🏾❤️
C’est un vrai bon morceau , totalement intemporel. Bien conçu et toujours un bon style en 2024

They don't write songs like this anymore. The 1980s was the best decade for modern music.
I was there (early school), the only good thing about the 80's was that they ended. The best was the 1990s and 2000's Many of the covers of this are much better
Classic song that still gets airplay to this day. I hope the world is listening so this music can never die.
Of course it gets play today. It’s all corporate radio. The guys that own the music own the radio now matey.

I’m an aging Boomer had millennial kids who introduced me to 80’s (&90’s) rock, Billy Idol and his band definitely one of my favorites, rock lives. now that the kids are grown and gone, I don’t keep up as much anymore
Billy and his band are incredible! The guitar is simply unmatched
💯
The guitar track is way ahead of its time! Steve Stevens is amazing.
@meefjwfhss I That's NOT punk rock !!
The keyboard on this song is so timeless and mesmerizing! Been listening to this song since I was a teen. I am 45 now and still listening.
Judi Dozier! The synth sounds during the bridge are sublime. Drums, guitar bass, keyboards- 80s synergy!
Same! I’m 44 and I love it no less than when it blew my mind as a kid..It sounds like nothing else
@@Doodlebug78 Nice!
I was 5 when this song came out. My mom said I'd dance and sing along... ❤️💃🎶💃❤️ this guy so much! He embodies the 80s.
I cannot believe this album had its anniversary April 26th 2024. It means I’ve bn rocking to it since I 13. Wow, I did not ever believe I would make it 40. Now 53. I am looking fwd to 80!!!! Billy is 69. WTF. Rock N Roll is still kicking ass!
So glad I got to experience the 80s. I wish I got to experience the 70s, but the 80s were a great time to be a kid.
❤️🌹
i miss the 80s and 90s. i dont know what happened to the world today :(
Yes we were the lucky generation...
@Inima Farkas that and there are always ups and downs. These are the downs. There will be ups again :) I wish I were born in the 80s. I just missed it by being born in the 90s.. literally in 1990 lol. 1990s were the last decade even resembling what America's heart is. I hate I experienced so little of it, but at least I had a taste
lololol I was a kid in the 80's as well.... hopped up on sugar and rocking out to this as well
Damn, my parents weren’t lying. This is a great song.
1984 was an incredible year in music. Steve Stevens and Billy Idol were a big part of it. Glad I was teenager buying records in Japan at the time as a military brat on Okinawa. What a magical time!!
Eddie Ray:
It most definitely was---that's the year Prince broke big and became mainstream, along with Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, and a whole bunch of heavy metal and new Wave artists, too.
🔥
Excellent comment I can relate too
Totally agree with you, 1984 is a very special year for music
And for movies too!!!!!
Love him to bits no one better sexier or can sing and perform better than the one and only Billy Idol 🇬🇧we want you back home Billy!! ❤

Billy and him were great mates as you can see from how long they worked together and the fact that their camera time in this video is about split. Got a bit carried away with himself during the solo but he was really good.

A genuine masterpiece. Outstanding piece of work and music. Brilliant.

True
This was over a decade before I got up on a stage, but Billy Idol was a great showman. His entire band would just send crowds into a frenzy. By the time I was performing things got crazy but it was an amazing time. You could throw beer bottles and flick lit cigarettes into the audience & they all fucking loved it. Except a few fights but that was part of the fun
