    Just bought a loaded XLE Ocean Gem w/Lt Grey Interior with Premium Plus from Fred Hass, and drove it home to Florida. $4,200 off of MSRP. Don't pay sticker or mark-ups people.

      I got a good discount as well on my XSE hybrid. Your color choices sound really nice.

      Nice! I've seen a lot of people buy from Fred Hass, their deals must be great. I got mine at Toyota of Katy at MSRP when it first came out, so I didn't get the best deal but I also didn't overpay.

      10% is the going discount in my area of S Cal. We only pay $85 documentation fees by law. Were you able to dodge the usurious Florida fees by driving out of state.

    I'm really working my ass off trying to get one of these next year and I'm stuck between the two tone white and two tone heavy metal 😮‍💨 Thank you for the video it really inspires me to work even harder and get these debts paid off lol

    You make me want a Camry more and more each day. I have a Honda sport 10th gen currently and we have the same color (not specifically) but basically white lol. Your camry is so NASTY (meaning great looking) looking. And don’t worry about others “oh you put 20,000 miles in 6 months” WE NEED SOMEBODY DRIVING IT SO WE CAN KNOW HOW IT HOLDS UP. Please don’t let that discourage you from keeping us updated. She’s beautiful

      Thank you! I'm a firm believer in using a car for its intended purpose, which is driving it. Even if I had a fancy car I'd still put however miles I want on it, I'd never hold back. I'll definitely keep everybody updated, keep a look out for new updates every 5k miles!

    So glad you are enjoying your car. You should have many to come. I got mine in May over the holiday weekend. So far we have managed 3500 miles. But we are winding down. Maybe one more after this so we need it to last.
    Happy motoring.

    Hard to believe your rig has 20K miles as it looks great! You really take care of it. I also noticed nothing wore off in terms of clothing on those red seats. Congratulations on your awesome mileage figures! I just brought my home it only has 80 miles..........how low have you run down the miles of gas remaining? Keep up the videos!

    • @DNDrives
      @DNDrives  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Thank you! I regularly wash my car and vacuum/wipe down the interior, there's never a time where my car is dirty unless it is raining. I've driven the car to about 6 miles remaining and it needed 10.5 gallons to get back to full. The tank is never really empty unless you drive a while with the fuel estimate at 0 miles, it's a reserve so the fuel pump doesn't burn out I've heard. This car has been great on gas and I've never spent more than $28 to fill it up to full.

      I decided to lower my car because I think it looks awesome this way, with the added bonus that it handles slightly better.

    I get the ticking/rattling on the headliner too on my xse, and like yours, it's intermittent. I think the whole headliner is sticky so it sticks to the car body and makes the ticking sound. As soon as I touch it, it stops. Sometimes kinda annoying but if it bugs me enough, I'll have the dealer look into it.

    • @DNDrives
      @DNDrives  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      For me my headliner doesn’t have that headliner adhesion problem. I’m not sure what the sound is from to be honest. If it gets worse I’ll have it checked out.

    Geez, 20,000 miles in 6 mos. I just got mine in Heavy Metal with Midnight Black Metallic roof (NO stupid moon roof). Drives so well, I swear it's on par with my wife's '25 Lexus NX350h. Upgraded with the Toyota cargo tray and rubber floor mats and the blackout emblem overlays.

      This car is really a mid-cycle refresh, no need to wait in the case of the Camry. The powertrain has been around since 18, so it is sorted. Now with regard to the new Tacoma, absolutely wait a couple of years. Those are experiencing teething issues.

    I have the 2025 XSE with the panoramic moonroof as well and I don't think I have those creaks you mentioned. You might want to get that checked out. The driver side arm rest does creak on mine as well.

    • @kikomanster8188
      @kikomanster8188 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Watch the other vlogger Car Confections. They own a 2025 camry xse themselves and they have the exact same creaking noise in the headliner/panoramic moonroof and the driver side arm. If you guys did not notice, your center console armrest also creaks if you put your elbow on ut. I know because I have the same xse trim as you all do. I don’t want the dealer to look and fix those because they might tear apart my whole car and put it back with more creaks than before 😂😂😂 this seems to be a fit and finish problem from the factory (part manufacturer) that will be in every xse/xle (panoramic/headliner) and the rest of the trims for the driver and center arm rests. For the creaking/rattling noise you are hearing, it is near the pano controls and where pano cover meets. Try to touch those edge and you will notice where it comes from

    Mine does the same noise when put my elbow on the arm rest it’s done it since I got the car my 2024 didn’t do that tho it also felt more cushioned.

    My armrest made that noise as well and I’m under 500 miles. I wedged some felt tape between the armrest and door panel (full length of armrest) and it’s 99% fixed.
    How’s the wind noise from your drivers side window? I hear quite a bit on windy days from the bottom of the window or near the B pillar.

    • @DNDrives
      @DNDrives  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Yes there’s definitely some wind noise coming from that window area but I just drown it out with music. I think having the wind deflectors helps a bit as well.

    How has lowering the car affected your highway MPG?

    • @DNDrives
      @DNDrives  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I have not noticed any difference in MPG from lowering the car, city or highway. I've only seen MPG start to improve as the weather gets cooler and I am not running the AC all the time.

      I don’t use the lane keep assist, I find it to be too intrusive. However, I do use the lane centering feature that pairs with the cruise control on roadtrips and it works great.

    you drive the same miles as me why didn’t you get the front of your Camry clear bra installed to prevent rock chip I have a 2023 RAV4 hybrid xle I also drive 800 miles a week for sales and get in and out of RAV4 many times a day I keep my car in like new condition like you do but I got black hood cover on front of my RAV4 when it was new and got red seat covers and blacked out the out side door handles exhaust Crome and hybrid badges and black plastic rim covers car looks much better and did carbon filter inside I change my oil every 6 weeks at 5k miles and wipe my engine down often also my life time mpg for 74,000 miles on my RAV4 hybrid is 47.4 mpg we also hand calculated each fill up so that’s about what we get usually around 46.5 mpg and 47.5 mpg on RAV4 hybrid and I still have the original tires on it I will replace them at 80k miles everything just last longer when you drive a hybrid. also I get about 630 miles per fill up

      Nice! I honestly should've gotten the front end PPF but at the time I wasn't really thinking of it until the chips started to show. Maybe when it gets bad over time I'll have the bumper repainted and then I'll install the PPF.

      I think it's great, I love feeling the breeze through the sunroof on days where I don't want wind to blast into my face through the windows. Sure theres some rattles but recently it seems to have self repaired. I will definitely be using my sunroof less after my warranty expires though.
