I just bought the 2025 Camry LE . No dealer prep . The MSRP was 32,730 and I paid 30,000 plus tax etc. It is responsive , precision steering , great cornering and styling This car is such an awesome value.

Btw new update i finally used up the dealer gas and pump a new one for the first time it is now 646 miles with 193 miles of gas i filled only once and it cost me $28
@Marquee_Gaming88 yes just again don't try to use it like a tesla. Make sure you run the engine every now and then. The only way to kill the car is to not use the gas for months on end. I had 400k in my last prime i got infi a accident. I know the prime in and out.

I love the prius/primes primes are some of the best cars you can get for the money take care of it. It will take care of you. Got stuck with a 2025 Camry LE rental today. Got 58 mpg just puttering around like how I normally drive. Made a conscious effort to get as much time in EV mode as possible and the dash indicated 90 mpg after 5 miles of light stop-and-go driving through a suburb of Denver. You DEFINITELY feel the electric motor punch when you give it gas. The gas engine is audible when it starts up, but you don't actually feel it. It's not a car I'd want to drive, but it does seem like a really good car.

It's the Camry for me. The Camry is bigger, quicker, more comfortable, get's essentially the same fuel economy, costs the same and is safer. The Prius just doesn't make any sense to me when you can have a Camry for the same money.

They just need to put the same 2.5 hybrid powertrain into the Prius that the Camry has instead of the 2.0 it currently has. With the Prius' lighter weight and superior aerodynamics, it would then be quicker and more fuel efficient than the Camry. Then it would live up to it's "sporty" style, and then it would make sense. Toyota's 2.5 hybrid powertrain is simply the best hybrid system Toyota has developed to date for a balanced blend of fuel efficiency and power.
Camry XLE is about to be my midlife crisis car. 😅 No spare tire with the Prius is such a crap move especially for its weird tire size that may take a minute to order. Spare should be an option at least.

I had planned on getting the new prius, but can't stand that steering wheel covering the gauge cluster and just can't get a good seating position to give it a good view, not to mention it feels more crammed inside. Then the new camry was announced. So glad I waited for the camry. It's just an overall more comfortable riding vehicle.
If you go up to the XLE or XSE in the Camry, it adds insulated windows on the front side windows. Supposed to make it even quieter. I went with the Camry because I wanted the extra back seat space, and the less buzzy drive train, and quieter overall ride. With the 2.5L and AWD, intrusion is very minimal when the ICE kicks in.
For me the Camry is the better buy, however, when compared to the Prius Prime, the choice isn't so obvious. The Prime is a little faster than the Camry and it has a decent amount of EV range for everyday commutes.
Another great video… Prius is a great car but the dash configuration is dizzying while driving and the Camry is just too boring Wish Mazda still made sedans. Keep up the great work

I wish the Prius Prime wasn't locked in the s trims I prefer the L trims as they aren't as gaudy in my opinion. I'm still considering the regular Prius if I get one.
Could also look at the new hybrid Honda's been offering. For me my choice would be a Miata and a Mazda 3. These two for me is the best 2 car combo for myself. Daily the Mazda 3 and weekend /track the miata. If the Miata needs to be towed then a CX50 hybrid would be the go-to.
As a Mazda 3 owner I disagree. The reason why is that the 'flavor' of the Miata and Mazda 3 are very similar. The controls are all good but a little soft on both cars. Just too much of the same in feel and design language.
Love the exterior and hatch of the Prius. Too low to the ground though. Camry has nicer interior in my opinion, and seems more spacious. Trunk is disappointing, but I'd probably choose Camry.

I don't see the point in buying an SUV unless you specifically need a vehicle for off-road use and then of course you're looking at body on frame platform. I’m looking to replace my 2010 Prius which I love except for the poor noise insulation and lack of new safety features.That series body design was the coolest design Prius ever came out with. I was eager to buy the new Prius until I actually looked at it in person. The new size and body design eliminated all the practical aspects that I loved about my older Prius. They made it smaller and more cramped. I found it awkward to get in and out of. I kept hitting my head. There was no leg room in back and cargo space was a joke compared to my old Prius. I’m now considering the new Civic Hybrid Hatchback except it’s almost as expensive as a Camry. The Camry is in consideration also but its body style is SO unattractive and boring.
camry is a way better deal. more car, more option, got sport version and more used parts available when it gets old. more quiet, more rear room, ac vent.... there is no point getting prius
I'm curious to see what sales numbers for the Prius look like after the re-design. It seems weird to take a car that has been one thing its entire life and say, awh, f-it, we're changing everything. And then I wonder, is it enough of the other thing (whatever that is) to attract enough new buyers to make up for the buyers who left when you changed it?
We shall see, i think they were trying to differentiate the Prius from the rest of their lineup but I don’t think the sales numbers were the turn around that Toyota wanted. I also think dealers may have stifled that too with markups for the first year they were out.
I'd say the latest Camry has made the Prius a non-factor unless you're the type that just really likes the look and doesnt need the extra practicality of the Camry. Seriously though, who would choose the Prius when the efficiency difference is slight and the pricetag isnt much less than the larger Camry? I think the Prius looks pretty cool, but then again so does the Camry if I'm honest.
It's more fun to drive and the design has more character. Not many people care about that when buying an economical car so I'd also recommend a Camry to most folks, but it's great that Toyota gives you an option like the Prius if you want something with a little more life.

I have owned many Toyota Prius . Absolutely love the new body style but they compromised the cargo capacity and backseat legroom headroom. Also, if you are over 6 feet tall, you are looking through the very top of the windshield as a driver. Also, that display on the dash for your controls is hideous for those reasons I would never buy a Toyota Prius again. Yes, the Camry is definitely my choice for. comfortable highway cruiser/ fuel miser. Yes, Toyota makes great products, but they definitely miss the mark on the new Toyota Prius like I said best design Prius ever, but they forgot about functionality for drivers and passengers and cargo room.
Need more proof that carmakers steal ideas from each other on the regular? Look no further than the piano key style hvac controls on the latest Camry. Mazda did that 5 years earlier on the current gen Mazda 3. Oh, and since that particular Mazda came out every compact car now has to have some sort of semi soft stitching on the dash, but Mazda is the only one that uses real leather, and super soft leather at that.

The new Prius misses out on the boot space (and a spare wheel 🤮), and now is going for being "sporty", while in the past it was a choice for MPG warriors or taxi drivers, so who which crowd should be cheering for this? Camry is a premium sedan, so not a hatch / estate / SUV. It might drive great and have a good MPG, but it has more of a CEO / "salesman" / second car vibe to me. Neither luxury, nor sporty, not a great space. Yeah sorry I'm the guy that was despising SUVs but once I had to start driving them (no other option in car rental at one time) I understood why so many people like them - the comfort, the space and the visibility. I can't go back now.
300,000 people a year in the US would disagree. The crossover is superior in versatility but like most things, it depends on what your priorities are. The Camry handles and rides better, is quieter, more efficient, and cheaper feature-for-feature than a RAV4 so id say it’s in a “great space!” If versatility, ground clearance and visibility are of a higher priority, then a crossover is the way to go.
Traditional sedans still have a place and they still sell plenty of them. Manufacturers prefer selling SUVs because there is a higher profit margin so they push those in marketing and advertising more than sedans. Sedans handle better, easier to park, more fuel efficient and usually cheaper to maintain and insure. Most of these SUVs with all their space usually have 1 or 2 people in them. Also, as the younger generation become adults they will associate SUVs as Mom cars and family haulers, not a vehicle for a young single person. Same thing we did with minivans and sedans. My kids are in their early 20’s and neither of them want a SUV for that reason.

I own a 2025 Camry LE. Love the car. I wish they offered the 16 inch rims on the upper trims. Roads in my area are too rough for low profile.
I hit a monster pothole in my '21 LE.
Inspected multiple times. ZERO damage. If I didn't have the 16" wheels everything would have been destroyed.

Mazda still makes the Mazda 3 in both sedan AND hatchback form. They don’t make the Mazda 6 (equivalent to the Camry in size) in the states.

Prius is 6.1" off the ground. I bet the Camry is the same. Maybe you mean seating position (hip point).
