If the recording you made was with the crap mic..Then that is puddy dang good..but if the fake u87 is better than the fake 103..and less money..of the fake u87;will be our 1st choice. The fake version has more bass in sound and less brightness, but it sounds enough to record well, the quality is terrible, but it is normal for its price.
Many mics with K67 capsule copies don't have filters to deal with a major treble boost. Some people like this sound, it can be heard on many "modern" genres like r&b.

Thats the cheap one. They make one that looks exactly like the original with the same box. And it sounds good.

Why not swap the capsule from the fake Tml 103 into the fake U87 and see what results you get
Do u prefer fake u87 or fake tlm 103?
The fake u87 sounds better in my opinion. But it’s a medium diaphragm compared to the full 1 inch diaphragm in the fake 103. Thanks for watching!
