That model was updated you must have last of old spec, not long after it came with bigger battery up from 11.6 to 18.8 and more powerful electric motor giving 455hp and more range ~37 miles ( 43-48mles WLTP, depending on spec), not many 455 polestars though, but upgraded battery and motor available in other T8 and T6 models
As per the comments below driving a 71 plate car (2021 somewhere) is not representing the current models. The Polestar is no longer offered and the battery is bigger OHH and they dumped the supercharger that was used to fill in for the measly electric and OHH the BHP is now 455 .... this is a seriously outdated review but I support your enthusiasm for this car - or its up to date versions. I have a T8 Ultimate Dark 2024 model. :love it. It has air suspension which tries to manage handling vs ride and does pretty well. bAttery range seems reasonable (35 - 40 miles depending on outside temps) and it is ludicrously fast in Power mode.
Huge fan of this car 🔥 but surprised you didn't mention all the things that makes the Polestar Engineered version unique. Forged alloys, upgraded Akebono brakes, aluminium strut bar under the hood and manual adjustable Öhlins dampers. This separates it from regular XC60's. In addition to the Swedish Gold seatbelts and brake calipers. All unique for the Polestar Engineered XC60
I have a 2024 xc60 T8. The secret to get the best mileage is to use the google map and keying in multiple destinations with 50 city / 50 highway usage. Try it and see your gas mileage improve amazingly!
@@LifeInMotionuk I have a White XC60 Recharge - Ultimate - Dark Package coming from factory. I added the Adaptive air suspension and splurged on the BW sound system. The wheels are the 21" wheels. Had to get a '24 because they aren't selling '23s anymore. Sadly, it won't be here until July/August.

Test drove this last weekend and the air ride made me feel motion sick lol. Unticked off the list unfortunately what a stunning car though if it wasn’t for that I would of got it!
Any xc60 t8 is greatly under appropriated..this car has to to be one of the best all round cars on the market to date

Thanks for this. I had someone reach out to let me know the same, however I looked on the used market and I struggled to find many!
Also 6,4 kW charging in 2024 models (built from march 2023), almost only hybrid with that kind of charging.
But they dont have flappy paddles

Was it the Polestar? As I know the car I drove had adjustable coilovers, rather than bags
