I love all Xc60's & the wagons. I picked up one of the 1st extended Range Polestar Engineer XC60's in Illinois, a Late-2022 model. just hit 12,900 Miles / 20760 KM & still getting 42-44 miles of pure EV range. Only took 16 months but, I Finally found a sweet spot on the Öhlins Dampers, "#12 Front, & #14 Back" Yes, I'm able to squeeze my small arms into the rear wheel arch & adjust my rear Öhlins Dampers. Thank You, I love all your insight, on All your Volvo car reviews, I've been a Subscriber to you since Covid. Keep them coming. 🚙🚗🛻
@@noname-JS Yup, I recently Went to 16 front & Back. The Manuel said 16 is the recommended max softest setting. What setting have you've Discovered gives U a softer ride ?
I just have bought my new Xc60 Polestar in Brasil and will arrive in couple of days and i will try your Ohlins Dampers numbers.I am very excited because my actual car is a 24 Xc60 Ultimate Dark T8 and i heard they look like the same but are very different.👌
Oh, that looks glorious 😍 Appreciate all the exterior shots.. It's not my favorite PE version, but on exterior design it's spot on.. It's actually the only PE where you can adjust the Öhlins without lifting the car up. Since it's so much space in the wheel arches 😂 Not sure what Öhlins setting your's had, but it's definitely on the firm side.
Now thats what I call a Volvo 👍👍👍🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪 Fully agree on the wheels.... I love my V60 T6 Recharge, despite the many issues I have had with it, while the EVs just leaves me cold.
Always love the Gold accents on the Polestar Enginered models. I've never driven one but I need to so I can see what the ride and handling is like. Does the steering feel heavier? I'm getting used to my super heavy steering in my Mini Clubman. I never felt the performance steering in my XC40 R Design was heavy enough compared the comfort setting. Nice video as always!
Steering feels pretty Volvo still, I did put it on the 'heavier' feeling in the settings. Worked a bit better with this chassis. The biggest difference you notice is the stiff chasis.
I don’t have the Polestar edition, but I just bought a 2024 XC60 T8 Recharge Plus. I really like the powertrain and how it functions. I have the smallest wheels in it, and the ride is still a bit stiff, but it rides well enough for what it is. Coming from a 2022 XC60 B5, the first time you really hit full acceleration, you need a LOT of room ahead of you. It’s faster than you may think 😁
Small correction.. you said the PE has “boost power”. That was actually true (by a lot!) on older polestar tunes. Actually the new/latest Xc60 PE has exactly the same power and torque as the “normal” T8 recharge. You still get the brembo big brakes, the Ohlin suspension and the yellow belts and Golden valve caps. But teh surcharge of nearly 15.000 eurocompared to a normal T8 is not justifiable.
I thought Volvo gave up the Polestar name as it is now that offshoot as an EV only marquee. (Oh, you addressed it at the end) Their nomenclature has gotten slightly confusing,p. Bright, dark, polestar ‘engineered’, V, D, T, C, EX, XC, 4, 5, 6, 8, plus, ultimate, core. they’re closing in on BMW level of crazy in the naming. I’m not knocking the company, I love Volvo. But the naming is getting slightly out of hand
I already own it! I actually do not like the upgraded battery capacity that now actually takes closer to 5 hours to fully charge. I'm much happier with the 20 mile range in 2 hours and Sensus infotainment. They screwed up with the Google-integrated infotainment in 2022 onward.

That’s great! Hope you will have many more fun miles. Thanks for the support!
12/14 still too stiff for me

@@Marcodurango22 Congrats! Many safe miles! 🙂
I bought one after watching your video. You were right, this vehicle is amazing.
Enjoy it! Great to hear

I think the ultimate is better due to the option to change the air suspension form inside on the display though
Understandable!
Polestar software is not available for Volvo XC60 Recharge T6 (398 HP).
Xc60 T8 best car volvo have ever made..Standard T8 with polestar software upgrade by volvo is outstanding 👌
Glad to hear! 😃
The xc40 phev also has this “one pedal” drive. Put the gear from “D” to “B”
True but that is a 'light' version of this full OPD functionality on the T6 and T8 MY23>. Though still very nice to have as extra! :-)
OPD on a hybrid is chef's kisses!

Damm what a car!!!
Akebono calipers and brakes damm good
@thom-lov Would you know if you can link different Google accounts with each profile/key fob?
Like this XC60 Polestar better than a regular Polestar 2 AWD.
Me too, haha!

In 2 hours, you still have more range than the old one… why complain?
If only they put the 5 cylinder in it…. It would be heavenly
Imagine a 6! 😉
I like smooth ride and this is stiff
