I pretty much just say what's on the screen, then explain the route I take, then get mad I got stuck and have to reset, then explain how I need to sit on the bench and save quit to return to normal. Hlnestly got a good laugh at the cheek of equipping soul catcher. Which increases soul gained from hitting enemies with the nail, which you didn't do once. lol.
the reason it looks like hornet doesn’t stagger at all is because wraiths can skip a stagger because it does 3 separate hits and can cause the stagger with the first or second and the second or third can “unstagger” her
Fun fact: You can reach Hornet's second fight without monarch wings. I managed to do it (though tbf, I did it so I could do the flower quest without infecting the crossroads 😆)
it is pretty funny to think, if you wanted to minimize use of charm damage (aka only use it on false knight or wraiths arena) then the only way to win would be to get kingsoul and use it on the hollow knight fight

You're such an underrated channel, I love your videos so much your voice also is pretty mellow and not overwhelming so it's good background audio and you put so much effort into these. I also love your editing style (also all the Undertale/Deltarune music you use as background music hehe).
@@tusowlit also has something to do with speed of hits. If you hit a boss 10 times quickly they’ll get stunned sooner than one hit 15 times but spread put
10:50 staggers are based on the number of hits, not damage to the boss, and wraiths do a lot more damage than nail. You can stagger a boss like 20 times if you do 1 damage a hit

The reason hornet protector only staggered once is because it always takes 11 non-combo hits to stagger, Your howling wraiths just does a lot more damage than the old nail so it took less hits to beat her.
She migth have only gotten knoked down once because howeling wraths can hit twice so she was knoked down but before she can show that she is hit out of it
hornet got knocked down once because the howling wraiths spell was hitting her more than once so she would get knocked down and immediately hit again so you couldn't see her knocked down
this is late but at 10:55 the reason id because of multyhits because howling wtaiths eould hit multiple times it eould knock hotnet fown and wake her up in one cast

The reason dream nail fails on Hollow Knight is because their mind is too shielded. You need the AWAKENED dream nail to do anything

You can actually get there without dash (glitch less). If you fight Hornet 2 before 1 she just doesn't talk to you anymore in Greenpath lol

The knockdown is proportional to the amount of hits not the damage of those hits
