Good idea there is just to many reasons why it is impossible. 1. use of nail for fury chest. 2. taking damage before thorns of agony. 3. collection of geo before gathering swarm. 4. getting soul without soul eater or soul catcher. 5. you can jump to bypass sprint master but you walk anyway.

I mean, yeah. Spellless speedruns exist. And the only other thing you use soul for is Focusing. This means that if you can survive without healing, you can beat the game. So basically it's nothing new, it's just more hardcore version of spellless runs.

so basically a normal run but you never choose the follower room. Kinda low on content, aren't we? You could have added rules or different challagens. Like, only feeding followers with deadly meal, cant heal them when sick, can't use tarot cards, cant take care of cult... Or do the completly oposite of what you "tried" to do (and you cant cuz you need the followers to proceed), you could have done the challage that you HAVE to get ALL the followers you possibly can and need to keep all of them alive and well in your cult, including the spy ones, mushrooms that sozo ask you to get and eat, etc.

what about soul catcher/eater, that means you can't get soul, there's also Stalwart witch makes is a glass soul run. then there's also gathering swarm, you said it but you still got a bit of geo. if it was a true run then it would also be a 0 geo run even though you did'nt use it. and if you count it, no hitting/killing your shade bcause of void heart. no hate btw, great vid. sprintmaster only takes effect when youre walking, not with mid-air movement, so you can bypass it pretty easily just by jumping around everywhere you go, no downpatching required additionally you can do this without any major glitches, although it is pretty cursed. it involves a trick known as itemless blue lake, which is exactly what the name says: do a shade skip up to blue lake without any items. it is *very* hard to do (and also requires parrying your shade at over 1 hp (as you damagetank right after), so its a bit of a grey area whether itd be allowed or not). assumming its allowed and you pull it off, you get resting grounds access, which lets you a) get dreamshield and b) go to city and perform a few more skips to get to lemm, get rich and buy longnail. with either of these options you can kill the elder baldur blocking access to greenpath and continue the run alternatively theres an even worse itemless skip to fog canyon which should unambiguously not break any rules but im not sure its possible without longnail
