Jesus made many statements about salvation and His deity and forgiveness of sin, etc ... and I believe them all, because He (Christ) is a true historic person and I cannot find anything anywhere which He said or did which causes me to doubt him.

There are scripture verses to support His predestination and also the need to have faith and obedience. And because the purpose of planet earth is to show what happens in an ingrate world so void of gratitude that compassion, pity and charity only inflates pride, gratitude has been replaced by wealth as the controlling factor and the society norm is to enrich ourselves upon the misery of those who happen to have less education, less wealth or less whiteness of skin. Matthew 15:24 (He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel") a statement couldn't be any clearer than that so how come you belive that Jesus came to save every nation? Either was he lying or your bible is corrupted!!
Many times throughout the Scriptures, especially the latter prophets God keeps promising to send salvation not only to Israel but to every part of the world. Also I don't know of any corrupted Scriptures but I know of a scripture saying "and I also have sheep which are not of this fold who I must bring also"
He _was_ sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. This is a spiritual sense. He said this in Matthew 15:24, testing this Samaritan woman. As though to say, "Do you see yourself as belonging to his lost sheep?" Then she says "please!!" Then he quotes an oft-repeated racial epithet of that day, "it is not fitting to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs." Also to test her, (as if to ask, "do you actually believe this? Are you actually a DOG as they call you??") Instead of replying to him straightly, she answers him with salt & moxie. And with faith. I picture her almost giving a wry wink wink. And Jesus liked her witty answer, "for this thy saying, go thy way, the devil is gone out of your daughter." He liked her. If you're interested, read statements like Matthew 8:11 and Matthew 28:18-20 "teach all nations (ethnos, gentiles) and Mark 16:15 Only, read all these things by yourself and for yourself. There is so much false doctrine in the world and church today, that you might say there is ALMOST nothing but false doctrine. Jesus is the King of Israel. The question is, am I of his Kingdom? are you of the Israelite Kingdom? Is he your King? (that Jesus conveys things in parables, and also in the prophets as the other commenter raised, go see Matt 16:12, Mark 4:34... but go there privately, just you, and he will explain these things to you) More could be said. this is an excerpt from a larger message. it is poignant and empassioned because John piper is passionate abou,t the Gospel. he is very sorrowful about those who are lost, and his mission is to break the stone from around their hearts. He cares deeply for the lost sinner, but you know what? It is a shadow, a pale imitation of the passion and the deep love God has for his people. You were created by Him and for Him, Christ, and His love for you is boundless. But our sin has separated you from the Father, and condemnation rests on those who will not repent and believe ON him. (on, not in. trust His dieing in your place, not just he existed once.) It is, by nature exclusive, because God is exclusive in that He has made His will known to us through His word and His Son. I pray that you all allow the Spirit to speak to your heart, to soften it.
