I'm a Christian but i was lost when I was in my 20's. Living in a big city caused me to forget Christ. After more than 2 decades, i came back to HIM. I repented and still say my repentance prayer. I went to a healing service a few months ago. I also heard the same words like this man heard when he came to church, "You're home". I thought it was just me but after listening to so many testimonies, i believe the LORD did say it to me because i felt warm like someone embracing my shoulder when it was so chilling in the hall with aircond. All Hindus know that a Guru is not God, but rather, a Guru is a person who shows you how to live a sinless and peaceful life and how to devote yourself to God. What Mr. Patel said in this video regarding gurus is not true. If you don't believe do some research yourself.

I was a Hindu, and fortunately got saved by Jesus Christ. My Hindu experience felt Satanic and nothing ever went right in my life. Oh I would love to. So, I was born and brought up in a Hindu Brahmin family. I grew up as a stauch Hindu idol worshipper and was very particular about my faith. Even when I was a little kid, I was inclined towards all the rituals and spiritual things. I grew up in a lil difficult family. My father passed away when I was 10years old and that made a huge impact on me. But, since I was spiritually inclined I decided to seek God as my father and ask Him to fill that gap in my life. Unfortunately, the ones I thought were God, were actually gods , if you know what I mean :'). Ever since I was a kid, I would have some or the other meet with Jesus through a poster of his or something of the sort. I would always have a pull towards going to a church but I never knew why. So, when I was growing, I guess I was 13years old when my mother invited a church group to sing carols at our house during the Christmas season. My mom was a teacher and had a colleague teacher who was a also a Pastor. Their church came and began to sing carols at our house and I was touched by the Holy Spirit of God that night. I sobbed profusely not knowing why. Even before they had arrived at our place, my mother had received a call from them confirming that they were on their way, and just that call I don't know how, brought me to tears. And I cried And cried that night. They prayed for our salvation that night. But did not share the gospel. I continued as a Hindu thereafter, but something in my spirit had changed. I began to get aware about the deadness of those idols. And I began to question. I began to feel that my prayers were not reaching anywhere, but we're actually bouncing back like a ball thrown on a wall. I knew there is a God, who He was, I had to find out. I began to seek him in Buddhism, but was terribly disappointed. When I was 16years old, the Lord Brought someone to me who merely said , "Jesus Christ is Lord" and I was like "OH I KNEW IT! I KNEW JESUS IS THE ONLY TRUTH. I JUST NEEDED SOMEONE TO COME AND SAY IT TO MY FACE." I committed my life to follow Jesus from that day on, however, I still didn't know who He was and what He had done for me. When I began to attend church, I heard a worship song that said " that The Father so loved me, that He gave His only Son to die for my sins". Those lines brought me to tears and it continued for years. Every time I would hear that song, I would cry. I had finally found my father in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. 😊

The Bible has more prophecies come true than any other religions and their texts... And more people have had deliverance of demons through the name of Jesus... Hinduism is tradition based. Thank you for sharing your experience. Hinduism is not a religion. It never says "this is the only path" unlike others. That said, Sanatana Dharma (mostly interpreted as Hinduism) is probably the oldest existing philosophy which has NEVER proselitized in its 5000 years of existence nor has it spread its word with a sword nor invaded lands on account of greed. While I am happy that you found your calling, be mindful (empathy) about undermining the one culture that only "gave" to this world expecting nothing in return for eons.

His story is like mine. I was broken and abandoned. So i asked God for a family and a sense of peace and home. He lead me to my local church where i was warmly welcomed and he said to me "welcome home child" and my church friends said "you are family now" and in that, my prayer's were answered. Even the people at my church can not believe my transformation, God really is good!

There was a time when my parents fought everyday and i was all alone. No friends no guidance and no goal. I didnt know whay to do. Why i should study. Then i met this wonderful teacher who is christian. She took me as her student and taught me everyday for two years. What is good what is life. She made me believe we are all childrens of god and there is always hope. I am a hindu but i always remember the lessons.
It sounds like you had an encounter with Jesus Christ through the love and encouragement that your Christian teacher showed you. It is evident that your teacher made a lasting impression on your life. Did your teacher have the opportunity to explain to you why it is of the utmost importance to repent of your sins and surrender to Jesus Christ alone (not worshipping other gods)? You see, we are not born as God's children, but we can become His Children through adoption. God wants us to be His Children, He desires that all humans would choose Him as their Father. God says it is only through Jesus Christ that we are adopted into His family, though. God, who created everything that has ever existed, and who has no beginning and no end, tells us in the Bible that His name is Yahweh (also spelled Jehovah). God says to us in His Word, the Holy Bible, that humanity is headed to Hell because our sinful choices have made us rebels who are defiantly against Him. All we have to do is look at God's standard of moral excellence, The Ten Commandments, in order to realize that we have time and time again chosen to do actions that are offensive to Him. And the penalty for our sins against God is death. That death takes place in two ways: first, through our physical death, and, secondly, through eternal death which means we are forever sepatated from God and that means eternal torment for our soul. However, while we were sinners, while we were at enmity with God, He sent His dearly beloved Son, Jesus, to die for us. To pay the penalty for our sins, to pay the penalty that we deserve. Jesus did this in order to save us from Hell and bring us back into loving relationship with God the Father, but we must choose to turn away from our sins and surrender to Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) "Believe," in that verse, doesn't mean just believing Jesus existed or that He was a good teacher, or a prophet. "Believe" is actually better translated "trust." It means trusting His words that are recorded in the Bible, trusting what He taught about the Father, what He said about Himself (that He is God's Son, and that He is One with the Father which means He is God, and much more). It means trusting that He took all of your sins upon Himself at the cross during His crucifixion, that He died, and that three days after His death He physically, bodily resurrected. Only when we turn away from our sins and put our trust in Jesus Christ alone (no gods or dieties on the side) that we are adopted as a child of God, and, at the appointed moment at the end of time, all who have surrendered to Jesus Christ will live forever in the radiance and knowledge and truth of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit's Love. But until then, God has work for His Children to do by sharing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others, so that they too, can be saved from the penalty of their sins (eternity in Hell), and brought into everlasting life and loving relationship with God. (And that is part of what your Christian teacher was doing). The life surrendered to Jesus is filled with joy and with many trials and struggles, but it is infinitely worth it. I am very Blessed to hear His Journey!!! I was also born in Hindu Family , Daughter of priest and granddaughter of tantric, palmestry, brahmin. I used to worship 10000 gods trees and idols. I was sucidal, broken and soo many mentally unstable. When i was 16 i heard Gospel but parents are against of Christian. I ran away far from my house and Accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. First few year i hide myself but after few years people started talking about me, hate me , threats me because i came to Christ. No matter any situation came my life i will follow Jesus and no turning back. Still people are say so many things i am taking this as a Joy in Lord. I got peace of Jesus. I am serving and sharing Gospel.

Whoever reads this, know that this testimony is true: I have suffered greatly through my life. With abuse when I was younger by multiple sources. I was beat plenty of times to the point where I'd fear my parent in question, bloody noses, tears and trauma for most of if not all of my youth. Although they are forgiven this is just what happened. For years I was broken but I knew at a young age about 3 that there was something very very wrong with this world. I saw the matrix and just didn't know it yet. School didn't interest me, the society didn't interest me. My birthday wishes when I was younger were for world peace. My heart was always with the lord. I was raised as a Christian and went to Church. I lived in a bad area, in a very dangerous city and have seen a lot of evil. I dealt with many trials and tribulations like hunger and starvation. And do to all that has happened. It strengthened me, even if I didn't know it and was falling apart then. I had protected myself from darkness with a cold personality, but my true nature was shown to my friends and those I loved. And most of the time am just trying to live happy and make others around me happy, hopeful, trying to spread love, light, and positivity. Trying to help them with their mental struggles, and the demons that tried to drag them down into the Pitts of hell. And when I was very young I remember very VERY vividly in a dream still to this day, sitting in the lap of Jesus in heaven when I wept for my grandmother at night cause I was in an abusive home. In my teen years, I was lost, and out of control, I was into witchcraft, not dark magic but just interested in the hidden and magical/occult in general. I was losing my mind embracing insanity, going through 8 years of depression, tortured by anxiety, and negative thoughts of things that don't matter. I was dealing with Psychosis, and panic attacks, and all sorts of other mental issues. This is all started before I even got into the being interested in the dark side of life cause that's all I wanted to find was the truth, even though it was all false truths. I was extremely manic at times, and even wanting to kill someone. I was so sad and hated myself for so long, its seemed like I gave so much yet was being tormented . I was bullied in school and started to hate humanity. For the pain I had was so great in constant emotional agony, I actually felt like cutting my arm and bleeding felt more pleasurable then the emotions I was always feeling. I felt death was my friend cause it would lead me to heaven cause I believed. I hoped for death at times. I became very dark, numb, and cold. Started smoking bud, drinking, pre marital sex, sinning, sinning, swearing, and sinning more unfortunately. That demon of the past was trying to get me. Even though I loved god and saw many great signs of his existence. I still wanted to know more so I got into wanting to lucid dream, astral project, meditate, sun gaze, mirror gaze and all sorts of spirituality practices, and I fell away from him. Nothing evil, I hope not anyway. Except for the tarot cards stuff and just general interest in the occult. That was bad, but I repented from those things, rebuked, and renounced them. I thought I was doing good for others casting things to help them but it usually only took from me. But then after awhile and feeling good from meditation, working out, eating healthy. I stopped. I fell into the deepest despair of insanity and questioned my everything I ever thought about. EVERYTHING and I was down for awhile. But then I was literally asking for help, pleading actually...to anyone that would listen. And my friend brought me back to the church. And at a certain night I begged god for a sign of his existence so I may stop doubting him. And that night I had a dream and at the end of the dream of some random kid on a bike being chased by a madman in a car. It went to a mountain and inside that mountain was crystal clear waters and in those waters I was with two others that I don't remember the faces of but a white horse that gave me an immense feeling of bliss and peace seemingly came to me from across the waters from the other side to me and seemingly smiled and the dream ended. When I woke up I was puzzled and asked my pastors and they believe as I that is was Jesus. And before this I kept seeing videos of hell pop up in my feed so I watched them and was trembling like I never had before. I was not walking with god as I should have been but was compelled after thinking of all the possibility that there is no shadow of a doubt that god is the lord Jesus Christ. I believe in his name as I always have and I am happy that he brought me back to him. I find it funny that my place of torment was called Bethel Road, I kid you not my youth was hell epitomized. He wanted me to fight with him. He made me strong and cold to this world for a reason, but the cold heart turned into a burning anger towards evil, a righteous heart and my wrath and his shall be poured onto those evil entities when fighting with the lord in the legendary battle of Armageddon. The world corrupted one of his angels, I was so pure when I was younger, and wanted to do nothing but help others and care for them. Yet my innocense was stripped from me as I realized the harsh realites of this painful world and I have seen angels and great wonders by the lord. Like having extremely excruciating migraines that do not go away. I asked for him to make it vanish, this was when I was a kid and was younger and un programmed, and he took them away. Well they TRIED to program me but I wasn't having any of it. I now have the wisdom by god to see that he brought me back in haste which is good cause I want to be with him. I detest this evil world. HEAR ME FOR MY MIDDLE NAME IS GABRIEL THAT THIS IS MY TESTIMONY OF MY EXPERIENCE IN LIFE AND WITH THE LORD! Through him my pains washed away, even though meditating helped a little. It would do nothing in the coming days so I am glad I put my faith 100% in Jesus Christ. If I was meditating and continuing with the new age practices I would be absolutely terrified, depressed, and absolutely in agony in the soul knowing the end is here. But I am happy, and happier every single day, through all my agony I have found paradise is Christ. Having a relationship with the one who created you. Our Lord and savior, and for those who read this and do not believe. DO YOU NOT SEE THE PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES! ISRAEL AND ARAB PEACE DEAL WAS APART OF PROPHECY! Israel just split, god is real. (Israel=Is real) IT'S UNFOLDING BEFORE US, THE CHURCHES SHOULD BE TALKING MORE ABOUT REVELATIONS BUT NOT AVOIDING IT. THAT IS FOOLISH! You don't want to be here for the coming Judgement, so accept Jesus now for I feel it in my spirit, in my VERY SOUL he is coming for his believers soon. Like almost now soon. I have this INNER KNOWING that he is indeed coming and at first I was scared to read revelations and hear of it but then I remember the rapture and Jesus's love for us. Don't let anybody strip you of his promises, his hope, if you are his and walk with him, and have a relationship with him, love him and be obedient to his grace. But unlike the devils gifts it won't cost you. Jesus's salvation is free. If you don't know him, and you reject him, your heart will shatter as his did when you rejected him. You don't want to hear "I never knew you, depart from me! But Jesus has a big heart, full of love and joy qnd geals the vroken hearted and those who never was shown love. His mercy is an ever flowing ocean. I continue to pray everyday, speak to him, and read his word and I am comforted everyday. So we should end our preaching of revelations with the hope of the rapture so its not all doom and gloom, PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE IS THE TRUTH! We are the bride of Christ; the church. JESUS WOULDN'T BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIS BRIDE, which is what the tribulation would do. Believe NOW and subscribe to God before its too late! REPENT FOR THE TIME OF HIS GATHERING OF THE CHURCH IS NEAR! BE RIGHTEOUS AND READ HIS WORD! Love and blessings to all of those who read this. It is by the glory of god I didn't take my life. I thank the lord for everything, and in Jesus name bless anyone who reads this and help them see your presence lord and let them feel the holy spirit and be called to come to you Lord. This coming back to Christ was just recent too, THE TIMING IS NOTHING SHORT OF DIVINE! And pray that you may be counted worthy to escape the coming devastation. Our holy father will save us, you must believe this. Let no one try to take away this promise of his, we have been faithful. Amen" You are his now, he loves you and is happy that you surrender to the holy spirit.
God says Jesus Christ, not humanity, is required. Being of service to our fellow man is part of following Jesus. But we can do all the helpful deeds we want for humanity, and yet, if we do not turn from our sins, and place our trust in Jesus and His death, burial, and resurrection that redeems us from sin and brings us into relationship with God (Yahweh), then we will remain dead in our sins and perish eternally at the end of this one and only life. The God you serves matters, the person you surrender to matters, and even the religion you believe matters. Christianity is not like any other religion, it teaches very clearly that Jesus is the Only Way to God. Don't hear this former swami's testimony and think that his decision to choose Jesus was just another ordinary decision that people make everyday. He made the decision that changed his eternal destiny forever, and he is free from Satan and Hell. I pray you will consider this, repent of your sins, and surrender to Jesus Christ. Instead of politely saying "To hell with humanity," I'm lovingly and earnestly saying that God, who tells us His name is Yahweh, says to us in His Word, the Holy Bible, that humanity is headed to Hell because our sinful choices have made us rebels who are defiantly against Him. All we need to do is look at God's standard of moral excellence, The Ten Commandments, to realize that we have time and time again chosen to do actions that are an affront/offense to Him. However, while we were sinners, while we were at enmity with God, He sent His dearly beloved Son, Jesus, to die for us. Jesus did this in order to save us from Hell and bring us back into loving relationship with God the Father, if we would choose to turn away from our sins and surrender to Jesus. For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16) "Believe," in that verse, doesn't mean just believing Jesus existed or that He was a good teacher, or a prophet. "Believe" is actually better translated "trust." It means trusting His words that are recorded in the Bible, trusting what He taught about the Father, what He said about Himself (that He is God's Son, and that He is One with the Father which means He is God, and much more). It means trusting that He took all of your sins upon Himself at the cross during His crucifixion, that He died, and that three days after His death He physically, bodily resurrected. So, I'm not saying "to hell with humans, follow a human." I'm saying that humanity is in the greatest peril because they do not follow God. And if you want to help humanity the most, make sure you are out of danger first by realizing your own sinful nature and renouncing your sins and getting cleansed and forgiven of your sins by the blood of Jesus Christ, who is God, which will then bring you into right relationship with God the Father, and you become a child of God. THEN you are empowered to help humanity in the way that it really needs. In the midst of many trials and struggles, you are empowered to love your enemy, to pray for those who persecute you, bless those who curse you, to deny your own desires and instead give selflessly to help others. And most of all, empowered to bring the Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others, so that they too, can be saved from the penalty of their sins (eternity in Hell), and be brought into God's Kingdom where, at the appointed moment at the end of time, all who have surrendered to Jesus Christ will live forever in the radiance and knowledge and truth of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit's Love.

The way this video has been beautifully directed with impressive lines, impactful words, shot with slow motion and background music just made me realise how christian missionaries works all around the world. They'll tell everything, whatever required to get people into Christianity. Islam also claim their Allah/Islam as the one and only true religion to follow and if one isn't following, it means they are lost or worshiping a wrong religion. I am from a family of Hindus too. I went to Christian school for more than a decade. Even after graduation despite knowing about the gospel I didn't believe. Then when I was down, in the worst moment of my life, with no energy in my spirit, battered, tired and lost I came home and knocked the door. God opened the door for me. Having had suicidal thoughts was the toughest moment of my life. Never thought I would have such thoughts. The thing is I didn't went to psychologist but I prayed and in my heart I said God here I am, I am submitting to you. Accept me as I am, I am yours and after that I have never once turned back. Yes I am not perfect. I am certainly not a sinless person nor saint but a man who is trying to walk in his ways. However the peace that I feel that was given to me is just beyond my comprehension. I tried to chant some hindu mantras a couple of times when I was trapped into new age and I’ve been terrified of hinduism ever since. I felt terrible. After that it was hard to have a peaceful night of sleep, I felt an oppressive presence every time I closed my eyes. That all went away when I found Christ. One night I was feeling like this and I think I was sleeping but I couldn’t get up. However, I was aware of my surroundings, I knew what was going on but I just couldn’t move and again I felt that presence so I called out Jesus and I was immediately out of it. The next day I went immediately to church and I’m baptized now. Never felt anything like that again.
I have had few of those experiences where I sleep n try to get up but felt trapped in my dream n no one could hear me. I tried to shout Jesus but nothing came out. Now I read my word everyday and pray for God to protect me every night. My research has confirmed that those experiences were demons causing that. Pray and pray. They call this experience "sleep paralysis

I am a Hindu and Yes you’re right god was with you always. God never abandons their creation. You You just ended up with wrong guru brother . I am a Hindu, I don’t follow rituals but yes that soft voice at the back of your ear, I too felt the same, felt his presence that something was behind me some kind of beam of light which was so light ( can not explain the exact feeling because it’s something which is so inexplicable yet so surreal and heavenly and I knew it was something very positive )while seeking god and practising Rajayoga everyday, reading about Sanatan dharma(Hinduism). While I felt it, I did not realise what was it until a few years back when I met a friend’s mother who is meditative soul and a practising Hindu . She explained it’s called kundalini Shakti which you felt. I never fail to seek god till this date and many a times I felt the same feeling I had. What I love the most about sanatan dharma is it’s teaching about seeking your own truth. No one can lead you there . You are your own truth seeker . You only find god by yourself and there are many ways to reach it in sanatan dharma - no specific way . The goal is you find your own and yes god never punishes you even when you don’t seek him and even if you follow some other faith because faith is personal and the ultimate truth is he will always always love you like you said it’s your relationship with god. I am very happy for you brother that you found peace and happiness that’s the ultimate truth and no matter whichever way lead it to you finding him is the most beautiful thing in the world. They refer to god as Shiva and you call it Jesus . It's one and the same . It's a feeling, a relationship which you will only understand once you seek it. There are four types of yoga among the many prevalent types for the journey towards enlightenment Karma Bhakti Jana Raja (one I do oftentimes) . Chanting is one the ways which comes under bhakti . Does not matter whichever path you take ultimately it's that blissful peace
And as far as the same peace is concerned, I would like to emphasize that I went to several churches, monastry ,a couple of mosques in India where I found that same peace while meditating for a couple of minutes. It's that when you know it's all and the same. It's just that I found the path into the practise and faith I was born in. Some people find it elsewhere. After all what matters is the journey towards enlightenment. For most people it might be little hard to believe, but honestly read about the life of Ramakrishna Paramhansa you will know what I am saying. He practised three religions and found the same peace

Meditation is simply detachment from the things around you through a state of clearing your mind. And Hinduism is the religion that invented it and practices it. And apparently you failed to know that the Church CONDEMNS any type of meditation that does not focus on Jesus. Apparently you were still practicing Hinduism in a Church. And you were still practicing Hinduism in a mosque. You were pretty much still being a Hindu. Why? Well, first thing, to be part of a religion, you must learn and accept its teachings. That you did not do. Secondly a Christian says in his heart that he accepts Jesus. Remember, what you did was focus on enlightening yourself in the Church, which is in no way connected to Christianity. You simply went to church and continued to practice Hinduism in the Church. That means you haven’t explored Christianity, nor in any way, found Christ or true peace. That is why you felt the same. Because you are still focusing on Hindu teachings in Mosques and Churches. To truly feel Christ in Church. You must pray to Jesus. Say the Our Father prayer. Tell Jesus you love Him. You don’t practice meditation in a Church. If you do practice meditation in Church or any other religions, obviously you will still feel the same. Since you are still practicing Hinduism in the Church, you still feel the same. You must accept Jesus to feel true peace. That is why you feel the same. I recommend you go to a Church one more time. And instead of enlightening yourself, give yourself to Jesus. That is true Christianity. Christianity is not enlightening yourself, but giving yourself completely to Christ. Also meditating one oneself is very dangerous. It opens up portals to demons. That may be why you are hearing “voices” in your head. Because to truly speak to Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit, you must pray to them. Well, why don’t you go out there to Church and try again. But this time, do it the way a practicing Christian does it. :)

I'm a Christian but i was lost when I was in my 20's. Living in a big city caused me to forget Christ. After more than 2 decades, i came back to HIM. I repented and still say my repentance prayer. I went to a healing service a few months ago. I also heard the same words like this man heard when he came to church, "You're home". I thought it was just me but after listening to so many testimonies, i believe the LORD did say it to me because i felt warm like someone embracing my shoulder when it was so chilling in the hall with aircond. So, I was born and brought up in a Hindu Brahmin family. I grew up as a stauch Hindu idol worshipper and was very particular about my faith. Even when I was a little kid, I was inclined towards all the rituals and spiritual things. I grew up in a lil difficult family. My father passed away when I was 10years old and that made a huge impact on me. But, since I was spiritually inclined I decided to seek God as my father and ask Him to fill that gap in my life. Unfortunately, the ones I thought were God, were actually gods , if you know what I mean :').
Ever since I was a kid, I would have some or the other meet with Jesus through a poster of his or something of the sort. I would always have a pull towards going to a church but I never knew why.
So, when I was growing, I guess I was 13years old when my mother invited a church group to sing carols at our house during the Christmas season. My mom was a teacher and had a colleague teacher who was a also a Pastor.
Their church came and began to sing carols at our house and I was touched by the Holy Spirit of God that night. I sobbed profusely not knowing why. Even before they had arrived at our place, my mother had received a call from them confirming that they were on their way, and just that call I don't know how, brought me to tears. And I cried And cried that night. They prayed for our salvation that night. But did not share the gospel.
I continued as a Hindu thereafter, but something in my spirit had changed. I began to get aware about the deadness of those idols. And I began to question. I began to feel that my prayers were not reaching anywhere, but we're actually bouncing back like a ball thrown on a wall. I knew there is a God, who He was, I had to find out.
I began to seek him in Buddhism, but was terribly disappointed.
When I was 16years old, the Lord Brought someone to me who merely said , "Jesus Christ is Lord" and I was like "OH I KNEW IT! I KNEW JESUS IS THE ONLY TRUTH. I JUST NEEDED SOMEONE TO COME AND SAY IT TO MY FACE."
I committed my life to follow Jesus from that day on, however, I still didn't know who He was and what He had done for me.
When I began to attend church, I heard a worship song that said " that The Father so loved me, that He gave His only Son to die for my sins". Those lines brought me to tears and it continued for years. Every time I would hear that song, I would cry.
I had finally found my father in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ. 😊

That said, Sanatana Dharma (mostly interpreted as Hinduism) is probably the oldest existing philosophy which has NEVER proselitized in its 5000 years of existence nor has it spread its word with a sword nor invaded lands on account of greed. There was a time when my parents fought everyday and i was all alone. No friends no guidance and no goal. I didnt know whay to do. Why i should study. Then i met this wonderful teacher who is christian. She took me as her student and taught me everyday for two years. What is good what is life. She made me believe we are all childrens of god and there is always hope. I am a hindu but i always remember the lessons.

Did your teacher have the opportunity to explain to you why it is of the utmost importance to repent of your sins and surrender to Jesus Christ alone (not worshipping other gods)? You see, we are not born as God's children, but we can become His Children through adoption. God wants us to be His Children, He desires that all humans would choose Him as their Father. God says it is only through Jesus Christ that we are adopted into His family, though.
God, who created everything that has ever existed, and who has no beginning and no end, tells us in the Bible that His name is Yahweh (also spelled Jehovah). God says to us in His Word, the Holy Bible, that humanity is headed to Hell because our sinful choices have made us rebels who are defiantly against Him.
All we have to do is look at God's standard of moral excellence, The Ten Commandments, in order to realize that we have time and time again chosen to do actions that are offensive to Him. And the penalty for our sins against God is death. That death takes place in two ways: first, through our physical death, and, secondly, through eternal death which means we are forever sepatated from God and that means eternal torment for our soul.
However, while we were sinners, while we were at enmity with God, He sent His dearly beloved Son, Jesus, to die for us. To pay the penalty for our sins, to pay the penalty that we deserve. Jesus did this in order to save us from Hell and bring us back into loving relationship with God the Father, but we must choose to turn away from our sins and surrender to Jesus.
For God so loved the world that He gave His One and Only Son that whoever would believe in Him would not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
"Believe," in that verse, doesn't mean just believing Jesus existed or that He was a good teacher, or a prophet. "Believe" is actually better translated "trust." It means trusting His words that are recorded in the Bible, trusting what He taught about the Father, what He said about Himself (that He is God's Son, and that He is One with the Father which means He is God, and much more). It means trusting that He took all of your sins upon Himself at the cross during His crucifixion, that He died, and that three days after His death He physically, bodily resurrected.
Only when we turn away from our sins and put our trust in Jesus Christ alone (no gods or dieties on the side) that we are adopted as a child of God, and, at the appointed moment at the end of time, all who have surrendered to Jesus Christ will live forever in the radiance and knowledge and truth of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit's Love.
But until then, God has work for His Children to do by sharing the light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others, so that they too, can be saved from the penalty of their sins (eternity in Hell), and brought into everlasting life and loving relationship with God. (And that is part of what your Christian teacher was doing). The life surrendered to Jesus is filled with joy and with many trials and struggles, but it is infinitely worth it.

I am very Blessed to hear His Journey!!! I was also born in Hindu Family , Daughter of priest and granddaughter of tantric, palmestry, brahmin. I used to worship 10000 gods trees and idols. I was sucidal, broken and soo many mentally unstable. When i was 16 i heard Gospel but parents are against of Christian. I ran away far from my house and Accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. First few year i hide myself but after few years people started talking about me, hate me , threats me because i came to Christ. No matter any situation came my life i will follow Jesus and no turning back. Still people are say so many things i am taking this as a Joy in Lord. I got peace of Jesus. Christianity is not a religion it is an Experiencial walk with God whoever knows this truth , the truth will set you free.
Whoever reads this, know that this testimony is true: I have suffered greatly through my life. With abuse when I was younger by multiple sources. I was beat plenty of times to the point where I'd fear my parent in question, bloody noses, tears and trauma for most of if not all of my youth. Although they are forgiven this is just what happened. For years I was broken but I knew at a young age about 3 that there was something very very wrong with this world. I saw the matrix and just didn't know it yet. School didn't interest me, the society didn't interest me. My birthday wishes when I was younger were for world peace. My heart was always with the lord. I was raised as a Christian and went to Church. I lived in a bad area, in a very dangerous city and have seen a lot of evil. I dealt with many trials and tribulations like hunger and starvation. And do to all that has happened. It strengthened me, even if I didn't know it and was falling apart then. I had protected myself from darkness with a cold personality, but my true nature was shown to my friends and those I loved. And most of the time am just trying to live happy and make others around me happy, hopeful, trying to spread love, light, and positivity. Trying to help them with their mental struggles, and the demons that tried to drag them down into the Pitts of hell. And when I was very young I remember very VERY vividly in a dream still to this day, sitting in the lap of Jesus in heaven when I wept for my grandmother at night cause I was in an abusive home. In my teen years, I was lost, and out of control, I was into witchcraft, not dark magic but just interested in the hidden and magical/occult in general. I was losing my mind embracing insanity, going through 8 years of depression, tortured by anxiety, and negative thoughts of things that don't matter. I was dealing with Psychosis, and panic attacks, and all sorts of other mental issues. This is all started before I even got into the being interested in the dark side of life cause that's all I wanted to find was the truth, even though it was all false truths. I was extremely manic at times, and even wanting to kill someone. I was so sad and hated myself for so long, its seemed like I gave so much yet was being tormented . I was bullied in school and started to hate humanity. For the pain I had was so great in constant emotional agony, I actually felt like cutting my arm and bleeding felt more pleasurable then the emotions I was always feeling. I felt death was my friend cause it would lead me to heaven cause I believed. I hoped for death at times. I became very dark, numb, and cold. Started smoking bud, drinking, pre marital sex, sinning, sinning, swearing, and sinning more unfortunately. That demon of the past was trying to get me. Even though I loved god and saw many great signs of his existence. I still wanted to know more so I got into wanting to lucid dream, astral project, meditate, sun gaze, mirror gaze and all sorts of spirituality practices, and I fell away from him. Nothing evil, I hope not anyway. Except for the tarot cards stuff and just general interest in the occult. That was bad, but I repented from those things, rebuked, and renounced them. I thought I was doing good for others casting things to help them but it usually only took from me. But then after awhile and feeling good from meditation, working out, eating healthy. I stopped. I fell into the deepest despair of insanity and questioned my everything I ever thought about. EVERYTHING and I was down for awhile. But then I was literally asking for help, pleading actually...to anyone that would listen. And my friend brought me back to the church. And at a certain night I begged god for a sign of his existence so I may stop doubting him. And that night I had a dream and at the end of the dream of some random kid on a bike being chased by a madman in a car. It went to a mountain and inside that mountain was crystal clear waters and in those waters I was with two others that I don't remember the faces of but a white horse that gave me an immense feeling of bliss and peace seemingly came to me from across the waters from the other side to me and seemingly smiled and the dream ended. When I woke up I was puzzled and asked my pastors and they believe as I that is was Jesus. And before this I kept seeing videos of hell pop up in my feed so I watched them and was trembling like I never had before. I was not walking with god as I should have been but was compelled after thinking of all the possibility that there is no shadow of a doubt that god is the lord Jesus Christ. I believe in his name as I always have and I am happy that he brought me back to him. I find it funny that my place of torment was called Bethel Road, I kid you not my youth was hell epitomized. He wanted me to fight with him. He made me strong and cold to this world for a reason, but the cold heart turned into a burning anger towards evil, a righteous heart and my wrath and his shall be poured onto those evil entities when fighting with the lord in the legendary battle of Armageddon. The world corrupted one of his angels, I was so pure when I was younger, and wanted to do nothing but help others and care for them. Yet my innocense was stripped from me as I realized the harsh realites of this painful world and I have seen angels and great wonders by the lord. Like having extremely excruciating migraines that do not go away. I asked for him to make it vanish, this was when I was a kid and was younger and un programmed, and he took them away. Well they TRIED to program me but I wasn't having any of it. I now have the wisdom by god to see that he brought me back in haste which is good cause I want to be with him. I detest this evil world. HEAR ME FOR MY MIDDLE NAME IS GABRIEL THAT THIS IS MY TESTIMONY OF MY EXPERIENCE IN LIFE AND WITH THE LORD! Through him my pains washed away, even though meditating helped a little. It would do nothing in the coming days so I am glad I put my faith 100% in Jesus Christ. If I was meditating and continuing with the new age practices I would be absolutely terrified, depressed, and absolutely in agony in the soul knowing the end is here. But I am happy, and happier every single day, through all my agony I have found paradise is Christ. Having a relationship with the one who created you. Our Lord and savior, and for those who read this and do not believe. DO YOU NOT SEE THE PROPHECY BEING FULFILLED BEFORE YOUR VERY EYES! ISRAEL AND ARAB PEACE DEAL WAS APART OF PROPHECY! Israel just split, god is real. (Israel=Is real) IT'S UNFOLDING BEFORE US, THE CHURCHES SHOULD BE TALKING MORE ABOUT REVELATIONS BUT NOT AVOIDING IT. THAT IS FOOLISH! You don't want to be here for the coming Judgement, so accept Jesus now for I feel it in my spirit, in my VERY SOUL he is coming for his believers soon. Like almost now soon. I have this INNER KNOWING that he is indeed coming and at first I was scared to read revelations and hear of it but then I remember the rapture and Jesus's love for us. Don't let anybody strip you of his promises, his hope, if you are his and walk with him, and have a relationship with him, love him and be obedient to his grace. But unlike the devils gifts it won't cost you. Jesus's salvation is free. If you don't know him, and you reject him, your heart will shatter as his did when you rejected him. You don't want to hear "I never knew you, depart from me! But Jesus has a big heart, full of love and joy qnd geals the vroken hearted and those who never was shown love. His mercy is an ever flowing ocean. I continue to pray everyday, speak to him, and read his word and I am comforted everyday. So we should end our preaching of revelations with the hope of the rapture so its not all doom and gloom, PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE IS THE TRUTH! We are the bride of Christ; the church. JESUS WOULDN'T BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF HIS BRIDE, which is what the tribulation would do. Believe NOW and subscribe to God before its too late! REPENT FOR THE TIME OF HIS GATHERING OF THE CHURCH IS NEAR! BE RIGHTEOUS AND READ HIS WORD! Love and blessings to all of those who read this. It is by the glory of god I didn't take my life. I thank the lord for everything, and in Jesus name bless anyone who reads this and help them see your presence lord and let them feel the holy spirit and be called to come to you Lord. In the holy name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I give you this testimony. I been through it all and yet the way I was lead back to was god. It was meant to be. This coming back to Christ was just recent too, THE TIMING IS NOTHING SHORT OF DIVINE! Accept the lord Jesus Christ as your savior now, confess out of your mouth that he is lord and that he rose on the third day. He suffered on the cross for our sins,so we may not perish but have beautifully flowing everlasting life. Repent and turn away from your sins, change your mind from the sinful nature and walk with god, speak to god, have a relationship with Christ and his word will guide you. And pray that you may be counted worthy to escape the coming devastation. Our holy father will save us, you must believe this. Let no one try to take away this promise of his, we have been faithful. We are not appointed to his wrath, we rapture. Love Jesus, because he sure does love you to give his only begotten son to pay for the penalty of our sins. Ask him for forgiveness, accept you need Jesus. REPENT! HE IS SMILING UPON HIS BELIEVERS! If you accept Jesus's free gift of salvation you are redeemed. How to accept? God says Jesus Christ, not humanity, is required. Being of service to our fellow man is part of following Jesus. But we can do all the helpful deeds we want for humanity, and yet, if we do not turn from our sins, and place our trust in Jesus and His death, burial, and resurrection that redeems us from sin and brings us into relationship with God (Yahweh), then we will remain dead in our sins and perish eternally at the end of this one and only life.
The God you serves matters, the person you surrender to matters, and even the religion you believe matters. Christianity is not like any other religion, it teaches very clearly that Jesus is the Only Way to God.
Don't hear this former swami's testimony and think that his decision to choose Jesus was just another ordinary decision that people make everyday. He made the decision that changed his eternal destiny forever, and he is free from Satan and Hell. I pray you will consider this, repent of your sins, and surrender to Jesus Christ. So, I'm not saying "to hell with humans, follow a human." I'm saying that humanity is in the greatest peril because they do not follow God.
And if you want to help humanity the most, make sure you are out of danger first by realizing your own sinful nature and renouncing your sins and getting cleansed and forgiven of your sins by the blood of Jesus Christ, who is God, which will then bring you into right relationship with God the Father, and you become a child of God.
THEN you are empowered to help humanity in the way that it really needs. In the midst of many trials and struggles, you are empowered to love your enemy, to pray for those who persecute you, bless those who curse you, to deny your own desires and instead give selflessly to help others. And most of all, empowered to bring the Light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others, so that they too, can be saved from the penalty of their sins (eternity in Hell), and be brought into God's Kingdom where, at the appointed moment at the end of time, all who have surrendered to Jesus Christ will live forever in the radiance and knowledge and truth of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit's Love.

They'll tell everything, whatever required to get people into Christianity. Islam also claim their Allah/Islam as the one and only true religion to follow and if one isn't following, it means they are lost or worshiping a wrong religion.
Though I'm an atheist but I'm happy there are so many other religions which doesn't claim to be superior or a true one.

That’s a red flag. believing historians who tell you it’s the first religion because they tell you. no one truly knows the age of those scriptures and google tends to be one sided. I am from a family of Hindus too. I went to Christian school for more than a decade. Even after graduation despite knowing about the gospel I didn't believe. Then when I was down, in the worst moment of my life, with no energy in my spirit, battered, tired and lost I came home and knocked the door. God opened the door for me. Having had suicidal thoughts was the toughest moment of my life. Never thought I would have such thoughts. The thing is I didn't went to psychologist but I prayed and in my heart I said God here I am, I am submitting to you. Accept me as I am, I am yours and after that I have never once turned back. Yes I am not perfect. I am certainly not a sinless person nor saint but a man who is trying to walk in his ways. However the peace that I feel that was given to me is just beyond my comprehension. I hope wherever you are, may you be healthy and God's peace be with you in Jesus name Amen.

I tried to chant some hindu mantras a couple of times when I was trapped into new age and I’ve been terrified of hinduism ever since. I felt terrible. After that it was hard to have a peaceful night of sleep, I felt an oppressive presence every time I closed my eyes. That all went away when I found Christ. One night I was feeling like this and I think I was sleeping but I couldn’t get up. However, I was aware of my surroundings, I knew what was going on but I just couldn’t move and again I felt that presence so I called out Jesus and I was immediately out of it. The next day I went immediately to church and I’m baptized now. Never felt anything like that again.

I have had few of those experiences where I sleep n try to get up but felt trapped in my dream n no one could hear me. I tried to shout Jesus but nothing came out. Now I read my word everyday and pray for God to protect me every night. My research has confirmed that those experiences were demons causing that. Pray and pray. They call this experience "sleep paralysis

I am a Hindu and Yes you’re right god was with you always. God never abandons their creation. You You just ended up with wrong guru brother . I am a Hindu, I don’t follow rituals but yes that soft voice at the back of your ear, I too felt the same, felt his presence that something was behind me some kind of beam of light which was so light ( can not explain the exact feeling because it’s something which is so inexplicable yet so surreal and heavenly and I knew it was something very positive )while seeking god and practising Rajayoga everyday, reading about Sanatan dharma(Hinduism). While I felt it, I did not realise what was it until a few years back when I met a friend’s mother who is meditative soul and a practising Hindu . She explained it’s called kundalini Shakti which you felt. I never fail to seek god till this date and many a times I felt the same feeling I had.
What I love the most about sanatan dharma is it’s teaching about seeking your own truth. No one can lead you there . You are your own truth seeker . You only find god by yourself and there are many ways to reach it in sanatan dharma - no specific way . The goal is you find your own and yes god never punishes you even when you don’t seek him and even if you follow some other faith because faith is personal and the ultimate truth is he will always always love you like you said it’s your relationship with god.

They refer to god as Shiva and you call it Jesus . It's one and the same . It's a feeling, a relationship which you will only understand once you seek it. Chanting is one the ways which comes under bhakti .

And as far as the same peace is concerned, I would like to emphasize that I went to several churches, monastry ,a couple of mosques in India where I found that same peace while meditating for a couple of minutes. It's that when you know it's all and the same. It's just that I found the path into the practise and faith I was born in. Some people find it elsewhere. After all what matters is the journey towards enlightenment. For most people it might be little hard to believe, but honestly read about the life of Ramakrishna Paramhansa you will know what I am saying. He practised three religions and found the same peace

Meditation is simply detachment from the things around you through a state of clearing your mind. And Hinduism is the religion that invented it and practices it. And apparently you failed to know that the Church CONDEMNS any type of meditation that does not focus on Jesus. Apparently you were still practicing Hinduism in a Church. And you were still practicing Hinduism in a mosque. You were pretty much still being a Hindu. Why? Well, first thing, to be part of a religion, you must learn and accept its teachings. That you did not do. Secondly a Christian says in his heart that he accepts Jesus. Remember, what you did was focus on enlightening yourself in the Church, which is in no way connected to Christianity. You simply went to church and continued to practice Hinduism in the Church. That means you haven’t explored Christianity, nor in any way, found Christ or true peace. That is why you felt the same. Because you are still focusing on Hindu teachings in Mosques and Churches. To truly feel Christ in Church. You must pray to Jesus. Say the Our Father prayer. Tell Jesus you love Him. You don’t practice meditation in a Church. If you do practice meditation in Church or any other religions, obviously you will still feel the same. Since you are still practicing Hinduism in the Church, you still feel the same. You must accept Jesus to feel true peace. That is why you feel the same. I recommend you go to a Church one more time. And instead of enlightening yourself, give yourself to Jesus. That is true Christianity. Christianity is not enlightening yourself, but giving yourself completely to Christ. Also meditating one oneself is very dangerous. It opens up portals to demons. That may be why you are hearing “voices” in your head. Because to truly speak to Jesus and God and the Holy Spirit, you must pray to them. Well, why don’t you go out there to Church and try again. But this time, do it the way a practicing Christian does it. :)
