Anyone can explain, but not anyone can teach! You are an excellent teacher, precise and accurate in the explanations. Your videos are not long, so I can just relax and go back if I need to review. These basic lessons are a reminder that we can always learn something new ( at least for me ). Thank you so much.
Great directions, particularly regarding (for me!!) the number of pages in a single-signature book. You are patient and precise and, as a result, neat and accurate. Thanks for this video.
It may look easy, but after 40 yrs of teaching and having seen others, I know it is NOT ... a born teacher. Relaxing to watch. good steps, leaving out the irrelevant, heading straight for the essential. LOVE it Tracie... do please also gain energy from these inspiring and rewarding comments xxx from Holland xx
Tracie, I’ve watched hundreds of videos about how to create a journal. This is by far the best. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Your instructions are so clear and thorough. I learned a lot just watching this tonight.
Thank you for this!!! I lost my mojo now going on the second year. I felt I had forgotten everything. And now I feel I can roll up my sleeves again!!!!!!😀
I've done a few junk journals, but they still seem intimidating, so I tend to stick to altered books. Even though I've watched dozens of tutorials, this has to be one of my favorite and makes me feel confident in making more junk journals.
Such an awesome tutorial! I’m sure so many of us will greatly benefit from it no matter how experienced or inexperienced we are. Thank you for taking the time to do these videos.
Hi Tracie, thank you so much for your process creating the journal. You are a phenomenal teacher! I so appreciate you. Your method of choosing papers is perfect and something I am going to do going forward. Thank you again for all you do. Hugs and blessings 💜🙏🤗
This is by far one of the best videos I’ve watched for a beginner, like myself LOL, for how to make a fabric covered journal from start to finish. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you, Tracie, for sharing this video. Though I have been making journals for a few years, I learned some things from your procedure. It never hurts for even a seasoned journal maker to go back to the basics. If willing, we can always learn. Thank you again! I loved watching every bit. ❤❤❤
I am rather late to this video Tracie but I have found it so informative and I wanted to thank you so much for the easy to follow explanations of all the different procedures. I feel more confident in creating a soft journal cover now.🙂
I am loving all the reminders and refreshers for the basics... they're definitely confidence boosters 👌💕💕 Thank you for doing this series, Tracie... really awesome 👍 Blessings~~~
So helpful, i really appreciate - i feel anxious about making a journal again and this is the solution. One signature, a soft cover, just to restart from the basics. Simple and efective. This journal is also very beautiful, thank you again!♥♥♥
Dear Tracie, thank you so much for this informative video! It's great to have been making journals for a while now, but still be able to learn new (better) ways of putting one together. You are a gem!!
So beautiful! What a lovely journal to make in just one day! Though it would still take me a lot longer 😂. But this is wonderful instructions for a journal with fabric cover. Thanks for sharing! Hugs 🤗❤️
You explain this so wonderfully, thank you for taking time with it and not speeding up the process. This was a great refresher for me, and I learned some new things too. I noticed you didn't fold in the corners of the fabric and I used to think that was not something good because of the fraying but I actually quite like that look, and I'm thankful you don't use book corners to me that is an unnecessary added purchase. Thank you so much for this tutorial and all of your videos.
Hello there, Providing there is a good line of glue, the fabric should not fray past that. I love tatty, I cold fold in but it is not the look i like and also this is much easier for beginners :-D. Thank you so much for watching and I am glad you enjoyed it x
As usually you are brilliant! I love this journal and its inspiring me to use what I have! Thank you for constantly sharing great videos! Was lovely crafting with you sweet friend xx
You are a great teacher. It was clear and very easy to follow you. I will once again say that I always learn something new from your teaching. Thank you Tracie.
AMAZING, you inspire me to try this next week! I will get my TFOX digis together and try : ) THANKS so much for sharing your talent with us. Teresa in AZ
I adore your journal and you made it look so easy, but I’m sure it’s because of your years of experience and practice. It was such a wonderful and informative tutorial. I’ve never made a junk journal and I’m sure this video would be so helpful when I first try one. Thank you so much! 😂
Thank you for explaining and showing everything so well! This is an excellent tutorial! I love the journal ❤ I never know what papers to put in so I give up, I like your formula! As usual you gave us another Brilliant video! Thank you for being a great teacher and a busy bee this new year! I’m enjoying all the videos and look forward to the Foxy Rag and more!

I continue to love your beginners tutorials. It‘s so useful to hear you talk about basics like spacing papers or choice of papers.

Thank you, that means a lot x
Tracie, this is the type of video I greatly appreciate, I was never 100% sure how to put it together, thank you so much for sharing. ;)
I've watched so many different journal videos and yours, by far, has the easier but most in depth information in it. Thank you so much for sharing!
