You should do a segment on tuning high hp bikes on stock ecus vs stand-alones and go into some of the details. I know you don't do them anymore but I have turbo with stock ecu with your tune From a long time ago that needs to be revised that you can use for an example
That would be cool to see but honestly I think the stand alone systems are overkill for 90% of viewers. Realistically there isn’t a true need for the likes of an AEM, Haltech etc on a modern bike that still sees the public road. Now with a built engine, forced induction race setup absolutely but your average bolt on guy has no need for standalone.

Amazing. And in another video, you showed a 2019 ZX-10RR with a full Akra system couldn't break 200. Is this the same 10RR different exhaust or a different bike??
Well ima let the cat out of the bag too. A while back I bought some BTC (Bitcoin) back in the day , needless to say it’s worth a lot now ! One question, not to take away from the power gains you made. But wont the bike make less whp when you sat on it for the baseline, vs standing beside it after your flash runs? Again not meaning any disrespect, but I've always heard that they make more when you aren't sitting on them.
I have a 2011 zx10r that's been flashed and tuned and a slip on and made 172.. the dyno room was small with no fans and was 107 degrees. How much affect would this have on my numbers and also would sitting on the bike during the dyno run affect numbers?
@Moore mafia do you send off tuned ecus? Ready for plug and play? Im really interested for an unlocked and tuned ecu of a honda cb600f hornet 2007 pc41 with decat and leovince muffler
@@junaid2149 Correct. And they make the RR wheel in both a magnesium and aluminum alloy. The magnesium is slightly lighter but both weigh significantly less than a standard wheel
@Hugh Jaanus They make carbon fiber wheels for sport bikes and Harleys also, but they’re quite expensive. I typically like a forged magnesium wheel on my track bike over a carbon wheel. Yes carbon fiber is a tad lighter but the forged mag wheels are already incredibly light and are much more forgiving to impact than a carbon wheel. Crack that carbon fiber wheel even a little and the structural stability tanks and it turns into a ticking time bomb. Plus for the ~1.5-2lb total difference between forged magnesium and carbon wheels the price difference allows you to offset the same weight and buy a carbon exhaust or some aftermarket fork inserts which will also benefit me on track even more. So for my purposes, forged magnesium gets the nod.
@Hugh Jaanus I was actually advised about the fire issues when I purchased my wheels. I know the properties of magnesium from camping fire starters so it made sense, but it’s a fear I’m not really worried about. I have great insurance so if my bike goes down and catches fire hot enough to ignite my wheels and I’m still alive I guess I’ll be building another bike lol
@Hugh Jaanus You have to have motorsports and street policies. One is your normal road going deal and the other is what you would normally put on a 4 wheeler, jet ski, etc.
That thing is sick! Super sexy! Just saw the new RR, and not too much a fan of its looks, but if it makes the bike more aerodynamic for better performance, then oh well :)
I’m a GSXR rider, but the ZX-10 all day. For the money, it’s a good deal. Factory quick shifter, titanium pipes, steering stab, and cruise control for the same price as the base s1k, and most dealers won’t carry a base s1k, just the higher trims.
AR is trash. I’ve seen an end cap fly off a bike running that filth on a road course. No the guy didn’t crash, just riding around. Rivets failed. SC Project any day.
I might be wrong but I think Kawasakis don’t have mid pipes. They integrated the exhaust with the cat so that slip ons automatically remove the cats so it’s cheaper than some other bikes and you get more
Not worth it for a street bike. You can get 80% of that power (160HP at rear wheel) by picking up a good used ZX-14, for about 1/5th to 1/6th the cost.
