      i just made a change in my BIOS for my cpu and my fans speed and while i game i get this message that my CPU is running at 65C and it's posted as a warning as i play, which freaks me out so i instantly drop out of my game.

    Hello there. I got a new PC build last year. It has been great so far. But, I noticed that my iCue CPU packet temp seems to be totally off, and it has gotten as high as 84 C with just one internet browser open, and it can drop from 70 to 40 something in a second at any random time, and it even decreases sometimes after having increased my CPU load by opening more internet browsers, games, etc. It makes no sense. The back of my PC case is not warm at all (it used to be quite hot with my old cpu, especially in the summer).
    Also, my cooler is always below 40 C, usually around 34 when having multiple internet browsers open.
    I imagine this is just some glitch with icue, as my pc has never turned off on its own or anything like that.

      Hey buddy that's too much add more casing fans if possible or go for water cooling if you want to go for affordable my recommendation would be
      1. AIO or Heavy Air Cooler for your processor
      2. Proper air flow system 3 exhaust fans and 7 intake fans will do the job 👍
      Last but not the list go for 140mm fans they are big and silent
      One more thing buy a good cpu case so you can install casing fans below, front ,top and back
      Your cpu should be surrounded by fans don't forget exhaust fans are really important so hot air will go out cool air will come in enjoy

    This is a little misleading. Cooling capacity is just air flow and to get the mentioned temps will use liquid cooling. Liquid doesn't come without risks and has a limited lifespan of 5 years for an AIO. While PC Hardware is just PC hardware, unless a brand new type of PC with new tech comes out, thermodynamics will apply to all PC hardware. Google searches will state much higher temps from the manufacturer due to assuming you will be upgrading in the next 2 to 3 years, in order to last 5 to 10 years you will need those lower temps. Going liquid with the GPU means voiding the warranty, and 70 C is way high for liquid cooling unless you are overclocking.

    what a joke. I literally bought a brand new RTX 3060 12gb and you simply cannot keep the temperature below 70 degrees celsius when gaming big games like RDR2, GTA 5,..etc
    It will sooner or later reach 75-88

      If it's a new power house cpu it's fine really any cpu can go to 95c u just don't want it there 24/7 because it will thermal throttle but hey if it does u will know cuz it will just turn its self off no damage done kinda like flicking a hey am overheating switch switching to a custom water or All in 1 water cooling will help u get to lower temps but u really don't need too unless your trying to stay high boost Over clocked shet am still on air on a 7950x that stays at 80c for days on end and was worried at first but it thermal throttles 1 time a week or so witch is fine with me let's it refresh restart and comes back online on its own running boost at 5.6 ghz idle OC I made a tune that gets up to 5.975Ghz with server fans on but that gets like 100c and turns off after 2 hours eventually water will be a must for all computers in the future

    • @subwaymanYT
      @subwaymanYT ปีที่แล้ว

      I did find a fix. I was able to tweak the power throttling settings on the Registry. After that, I was able to unlock the processor power boost. Ever since I changed the settings, my cpu temperatures went down. I also turned off the PCI expesss settings due to it causing no display on my monitor and overheating my PC.

    45 cpu while gaming would be a serious cooling system or older cooler cpu 50-60 for aios on most newer cpus.
    i run 5800x3d that runs hotter than the non 3D with a 240aio …constant max boost in testing with a 69 peak avg 65 …gaming, however 55-60 average, with lows of 48> and peaks of 64, both cpu intensive and non cpu intensive games.
    Most gpus in good airflow could maintain 70 or less but that all depends on models cooling efficiency as stock and what you set your curves too for cooling…. And even the same model can run hotter… 75 or less is ideal low 80s is okay but not great above that most will start to clock down to cool down around 86 and above.
