He still had plans he needed Dippers body for. Even if he planned to dispose of him shortly afterwards by jumping off the water tower, he wasn't ready to off him just yet, and all the other stuff he did was painful, but not likely to be lethal like a car crash would be. Though, falling down the stairs does rusk neck snappage. I doubt Bill thought of that in the moment though.
@@--CHARLIE-- it's probably moreso that he's just trying to "be human and do human things." buckling a seatbelt is human just like drinking soda or going down stairs is. The pain of hurting the body is entertaining for him but he also gets a kick out of acting like a human, probably finds it amusing.

it's true, i went back to the dreamscapers episode, which is the one were he called Bill the unvierse and scrolled down and nothing but positive comments... literally i found 3 "negative" ones, and those were not rude at all, some dude said something like "you talk too much pay attention" no bad words, some other pointed a moment when Suraj said "do not jump into conclusions" and wrote "Lol" but still no bad words, i did not find anyone calling him and "Idiot fuck"... if anything he got backlash from the Patreon early users, but i reached the buttom of the comment section, and there was NO one insulting him.
I think because Bill didn't tell Dipper the password, Dipper was able to get his body back. It may've been that if Bill completed his end of the bargin that Dipper's body fully became his and he wouldn't have any of his abilities.
i'm 5 years late to this but bill just said he'd "crack this thing wide open", never specifically saying he was going to give the password in the same way that he made dipper believe that 'a puppet' was one of mabel's sock puppets

As far as guessing stuff in Gravity Falls, keep doing what you're doing Suraj. That's one of the best parts of viewing this show for the first time. And it's also interesting to see what you guys get both right and wrong.
you're right, guessing is fine, but the specific episode he got backlash from, was because he was straight out screaming, to himself, to the others and even to the characters on the screen "HE'S THE UNIVERSE, SHUT UP MABEL HE KNOWS EVERYTHING, HE'S THE UNIVERSE" as it was a fact... it's not that he was wrong, it's the way the said it, as he KNEW for a fact Bill's the universe... that being said, it's their channel they can do whatever they want

The 'subtle' passive-aggressiveness was probably worse off than just guessing and such. Guessing and speculating is great! The only time negativity towards a Normies video was somewhat justified was their Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer reaction, and none of them knew who Aqua was, despite being a massively important character.
I'm not saying it was right for everyone to shit on them for it, but it was very baffling they didn't know.

If I had to make a deal with Bill Cipher, it would be that I could obtain his knowledge of everything that he knows without it overwhelming me. That way I know everything about the universe and so on.
Condition one: I can't use anything I learned from him against him.
2: can't learn his weaknesses.

watching this i hated the first part of the episode and thought i would hate the episode. Then the Bill Cypher Dipper stuff happened and it became one of my favorites alongside the Manotaur episode

Just using Imperial measures (or, rather, U.S. Customary, as there are differences between Imperial and U.S. units) is simple compared to the proper British way: use both Imperial and Metric, but never explain which one you're using at any given moment.
So, for example, when it's cold, we use Celsius, so "it's -3 out there", etc. But we use Fahrenheit for high temperatures, to make them seem bigger.
A weird thing about England, actually, is they use both the Imperial measuring system and the metric system, as well as both a 24 hour and 12 hour clock. And the worst part is, there doesn't seem to be much consistency, either. Shit's weird here.

Actually, he only promised to give Dipper a hint, and as he smashes the computer, he reveals a label that will be a plot point in future episode, so he actually followed the trade he offered completely.
