I think the time-lapse speed ones are a really nice alternative to watching CTC's hours long ones.
It’s a 45HP Barrus Shire (a marinised Yanmar generator / tractor plant). No real idea of fuel efficiency, I’m afraid, as it’s damned near impossible to find a long enough stretch of water that’s got no current or locks to do much more than guess, there being no fuel gauge on the thing. We typically go through about 20-30 litres in a month of relatively heavy canal cruising... that’s sometimes a lot of miles and no locks, sometimes just a few dozen miles and lots and lots of locks.
