Hi weir on the move lovely to meet you both at Crick were still getting over the shock of nottingham boats but were coming to terms with everything we've been told we're unlikely to get our money back but trying to look forward and thinking about what we'll do next whether to go with a second hand boat or were thinking about Aintree waiting for a quote, we're glad you did well with your sales at Crick and really enjoyed meeting u both. Love Phil +Lorraine X
Hi Lorraine, we enjoyed meeting you too. It will all work out for you in the end, of that we're sure. Just stay determined, and don't be afraid to buy second-hand. With the money you save, you could adapt the boat to your own tastes.
Hey! That was doing more than 3 mph! Most spiders that size and this time year are female spiders, they've already mated and ate the males for the protein.
Ah, the magic of TV. It only seemed like it was faster, Charles, but we used trickery and witchcraft. And stop with the spider thing, you'll give my wife ideas :-)
Nice vlog again many thanks . I’ve Seen a few other vlogs about the Creak boat show and Julie’s art stall was in most of them. I hope you did very well. Every year the price of boats seem to go up so I don’t think boats like yours depreciates that much . Anyway have fun .
well done my friend stand up for what you beleave in i have at lest 30 narrow vlogers and they all say the same they all want some were to put recycline sorry about my spelling. tell you what to do get a load of you togeather sign a paper saying you are not happy and get a group off you go to papers and tv news if there enough of you they will have to do something fight for what you beleave mate stay safe
What's the long term goals? Do you intend to go to every widebeam suitable canal/river on the system? :-) . I'd love to do that and then settle somewhere. I'm not sure anyone continuously cruises non stop for life I don't expect a complete break down of dates and future plans 😂 5th July 2019 - we plan to travel for 3hrs and stop to eat a radish salad for dinner 17th October 2022 - we plan to paint the boat and visit friends in Bath. Whilst there we will eat a mango curry and drink 3 bottles of wine. Probably a weird question as a lot of boaters are able to remain flexible. I guess that's the best thing of being on a boat :-) Good luck
This is uncanny! Have you been following us in a stalker type way, because you have just named the exact dates and activities that we decided we will do? Even the mango curry! We don't really have a long term plan except keep cruising and keep filming. We see boat life as no different to house life; if you asked most people what their long term plans were, they couldn't tell you. All we know is the world keeps turning, and Eric keeps snoring. Eventually, we will pick a stretch and cruise up and down until we get too senile and infirm to cope, which if you watch the videos, for Julie that could be a couple of weeks away.
@@WeirontheMove haha, don't forget the coconut chunks in the curry :-) I can see into the future 😂 That sounds like a good plan. If I find myself in the same position as you guys in the future I'd probably do that. Find a 30-50 mile stretch and cruise it up and down.
Hi you two, we said we are going to buy a wide beam hopefully end of the year, have you or can you do a running cost for the year to live aboard (excusing the price of the boat) Floating the boat have done one for their 50 ft narrowboat would be very interested the difference living on a wide beam. TIA Keep up the vlogs we love them, Paul Rena and Bonnie
Gi paul, we can do that. We asked on the community tab what questions people want answering, so when we do another instructional info vlog, we could cover that, if you don't mind waiting?
Nice again and go and go and get them
Thanks, Tony

We pushed it as far as we could but in the end the trust took away the recycling bins citing the council and private collectors as the problem

It says Narrowboat journey, but your a wide beam boat?
