One of Rammstein's most beautiful songs. Also, everyone is enjoying the moment with no phones during "Live aus Berlin" and I wished they played this song live more often. It's truly one of their most underrated songs.
I want to tell a story about "Wilder Wein", about how Rammstein made me laugh) And about my joyful memories of Rammstein. I remember when Rammstein announced their new book "rammstein sheet music for piano", I ordered it among the first fans, because I play the piano and it sounded great to play rammstein from official sheet music. I was excited when my sheet music arrived, and when I opened the package, I laughed and was touched to the core and at the same time incredibly happy. The parcel contained not only a "collection of notes", but also a gift!!😍☺ They put a small pack of marmalade. Marmalade was in black brutal packaging. And the marmalade was in the shape of the Rammstein logo and was called "Wilder Wein" and tasted like grapes. I was very touched, it was so sweet. it's a little thing but very nice. Rammstein and their team are very nice people. There was also a situatian with Till, when my best friend (from Moscow) stood in a huge queue for 3.5 -4 hours for Till to sign his new book of poems for her. And it so happened that she was almost the last in line. Although Till signed autographs for 4 hours, he signed books for ALL the fans including my bestie. And she, being a great person, asked Till to sign another book for me(because I was in another city far from Moscow and could not get an autograph in any way), and she even took a picture of Till signing it. And then she gave it to me for my birthday as a surprise 😭💓😻 Now I have a book with Till's afftograph. And I'm the happiest Rammstein fan right now. Because I have an official Ramm T-shirt and 2 books of Till's poems (one autographed) and Ramm-notes and I was at a concert in the fan zone (gave all my last money as a poor student), I think I can die in peace now with feeling that my dreams came true. It's Ramm-happiness, that's how I feel!!😭💗💞
@@netsardin4019 Happy you. A Marmelade Rammstein-style👍 They know how to surprise people😃. So I hope you can play all songs one the piano by now looking at Tills poems and his autograph🤗
@@brigittegranier3468 Yes, definitely, Rammstein know how to surprise people). By the way, it turns out that the gifts were different. I saw on social media that someone received a white mini mask with Till’s face. Thank you for your cute wish! This is so nice.☺ Yes, I also hope that I can really play their piano collection.😄 I want to wish you all the best because I think you're a real nice person. May everything be wonderful for you!🤗
At that time I had the live CD at home first, before I saw the video or rather the whole concert. I liked it so much right away that I listened to it over and over again and of course memorized the lyrics so I could sing along. I still love it today! One of the most underrated Rammstein songs!
Vino salvaje me gusta su reacción pienso que se apegan al sentimiento mexicano bohemio melancólico con tequila y sombreros revolucionarios todo un clásico
Wilder wein means "wild vines/creeping vines" as much as "wild wine" - the word wine is derived from vine (grapes grow on them). So they play with words here again. "(from) Creeping vines before your castle" - "(I bring) wild wine before your lap". This is pretty much their most poetic song, and can be deciphered different ways depending on if you are using old low German, or high German.
"Wilder Wein/ wild vine", from Parthenocissus or Vitaceae plant families, is a plant that curls around buildings. From "warm and moist" to "hot and wet" - what kind of curls is he serenading? And Parthenocissus could be especially suitable, because it's name means "virgin ivy". It is a love song. A frustrated love song :)
Another one of my favourites and one that isn't reacted to very often. It's one of those great performances that I wish I had on DVD but unfortunately, I've not been able to get hold of yet. Till certainly has a way with words and for that, we can all be grateful. Always love the Mexican outfits but even under the huge sombrero you can see Paul smiling. An outstanding performance of a very underrated song. Quite a few don't get the recognition that they deserve unfortunately. Great reaction as always from you guys and I'm loving the hair colour Chels.
Wild wine is a synonym for pubic hair. With this background you will find out that "your castle" and "I am ready" has an absolut different meaning. One of the reasons I love Rammstein so much, Till is a genius of words.
Hi guys , great reaction to this song from 1998, Till's head wound is from the previous song when he head butted a Mike stand, the song I think it was Asche Zu Asche!!! I think the only studio version of this song is a demo from 94/95 and doesn't sound like the live version. Happy holidays from the UK 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I've just checked and saw that you didn't react to "Kokain" yet, so I thought I'd bring it up for your consideration (it's among my very favorite Rammstein songs since it came out as a B-side to their "Das Modell" single). An absolute banger!
@@brigittegranier3468 yeah that is the demo. This live version is a lot more polished, since it's like 4 years later. It doesn't have the guitars either in the demo
This is a really interesting one. So eerie and another showcase of Till's writing. There's a demo recording of this song on the Engel single. It's not as mellow as the live version and feels quite epic. So it's definitely worth giving it a listen. I mean....it's Rammstein so duh.

underrated like Adios and Nebel
Nebel is one of my favourite Rammstein songs. Just beautiful!
Beautiful song❤
6:07 mexican hats. They was impressed with the mariachis play them instruments when visited mexico for that reason the hats. Great.
Nor mexican hats, they're medieval elden ring germanic hats... for pagan rituals, magic celebrations, etc.

I absolutely love this Song
Greetings from....you guess it...Germany
Yes hes bleeding. At the concert while performing Sehnsucht Till beating his head with the mic several times.
I am happy for Flake to be more prominent in the later albums. His key work is a key. Pun is very much intended. But seriously, I love his synths.
I love Flake' synth so much ♥️. It adds to the songs and expands them

For me its a synonym for the blood of the virgin…“so warm and moist.. so wet and hot“
Yes, it is about spreading legs
That is not Till lyrics. Its acient german song
Grape is Bible symbol. Noah after great flood plant grape as first. I guess its innocence

Nice reaction! You two are very cute. Best wishes from Germany!
The song is wonderful. Have fun 😀
this was the last time that this song was played live.
Fav ❤️
More live aus berlin please
The only version recorded is the demo version from the Engel Fan Edition single. That one is ok. I always preferred the live version.

Best Rammstein song ever
That is not their song actually. Its folk
@@kre_dopeprod.3766 Flake said this song evolved when Till played the notes of just two chords on the piano
@@kre_dopeprod.3766 Really?
For me, the song is about cheating. He is not the king whose arrival is announced. Maybe it's Rammstein's version of Romeo and Juliet?

howdy hi
Not that they arent theatrical, but Live Aus Berlin is some of Rammsteins most theatrical performances as you can see lol
