I've been to their concerts 6 times, seens alot or artist like slipknot ect. But Rammstein dont make music, they make art. Best experiences of my life. The atmosphere is indescribable
Aww, you finally got to see the Three Dancing Idiots(as I affectionately call them)! And Flake has said that other than the first time they did this…when they were rehearsing it for safety, and he burnt his hands getting out because he didn’t think about how long they’d been doing it and how hot the pot was…the only thing he has to worry about is holding his breath because the fire sucks all of the oxygen out of the air around the pot, and he’ll burn his lungs if he inhales.
Also, it ended like that because Flake was getting ready to get Du Hast started.
The version from 2019 is the best one I think. They changed it up a bit here

This was a new version of Mein Teil. An other version Till poured from a 4 meter high stage lava in to the pot.

Hi. It's pronounced "tile". In general--there are always exceptions--when there are two vowels next to each other in a German word, the second vowel is pronounced and the first vowel is silent. The band's name, for example is spelled Rammstein and is pronounced RammstIne. The beer vessel is spelled stein and is pronounced stIne (beer stein). German word for love is spelled liebe and is pronounced leeba (Was Ich Liebe). My mom was the first generation of her German family born here and didn't learn English until she started school.
Good explanation though only correct for English audiences. Generally, „Ei“ is pronounced as the English „I“ in tile. „I“ without the e in German is pronounced like the first I in literature. Same for „st“ that’s pronounced like the German „sch“, followed by a t sound. „Sch“ is pronounced similar to the end of „finish“. So „Rammstein“ is pronounced like Rammshtine. At least that’s the closest I can come up with as comparisons as a German. These little vowel combinations are very important. Ei is Never the same as i. However, ie is just a elongated I in German. It’s complicated, but very precise.
@@pechstein188 Thanks so much for the additional information. My mom spoke the Schwäbisch dialect, which I guess is or was spoken in the Baden-Württemberg region? As a dumb kid, I had no interest when she tried to teach it to me but she and her siblings spoke it all the time I was growing up. Becoming a Rammstein fan sparked my interest in the language. As you said, my little explanation was correct for Americans--there are just so many content creators who are unsure how to pronounce the band name and titles such as these that I had hoped an elementary explanation of the vowels might help them be more confident when speaking them out loud. @@barbarahenry9840 ah cool! Well schwäbisch wouldn’t get you very far outside of southern Germany, as it can be pretty thick and hard to understand 😅 it is a very fun dialect though, and the countryside where it’s spoken is beautiful!

The Musicvideo of Haifisch is very cool. They tell in previous Musicvideos a story how Till died in diffrent scenarios and in Haifisch they tell the end of this storyline (why he died). I also really like this song.

ei is always pronounced as eye, ie is always pronounced as eeee. Just pronounce the 2nd letter, and you'll be fine :) So in other words, this would be pronounced Mine Tile :)

In my opinion the official video of "Mein Teil" is the worst Rammstein video they've ever made. The live shows for this song are great but the official video you can just omit.
