Played this song in my car at night. It was very surreal. There was a silent thunderstorm in the distance and i had the wind in the back, so silence as well. Empty road and just this song.....
Song Information: First this Song was only a Studio Demo tape recorded 1994. Then it was only published on a limited Single Disk "Engel(Fan-Edition)" 1997. This song was only played live on the "Sehnsucht" tour in 1998. During the 1998 performances, the song would start with a synth intro performed by Flake and Schneider(Drummer), who would be located at a second keyboard placed on the stage for this song, rather than at his drums. Greetings from Germany,Berlin :)
There's a medieval quality to this song and it strike me very deep. Hard to describe it. One of my favourite songs not only by Rammstein but in general.
One of the absolute best Rammstein songs. Very unknown and underestimated and very special. I was speechless like you when I first heard it. And the lyrics are insane and so lyrical especially if you understand German natívely.
I'm pretty sure someone already mentioned it but the reason he's bleeding from his forehead is because 2 songs prior during Sehnsucht towards the end he began hitting his forehead several times then rhe song Asche zu Asche came on before this song . ❤
I've been fan of Rammstein since 1997/98 they were huge in México since then. And for sure fan of your channel, for months. BTW I love your Pluto shirt 🤗🤗
Nice one! 😎 this is the best version of this song. Since it only existed as a demo from several years early, it isnt as refined as this Live Aus Berlin version
Hello my friends, another good song from Rammstein is Röter Sand , it means in german Red Sand ! I love this song very much ! I love you all ! Greatings and love from germany ♥️♥️🥰♥️♥️🥰♥️♥️
Ive never listened to this before, i knew that the demo tape existed though.... Also... Hes 100% talking about a womans privates, right? Very dark, deep and something you should listen to alone indeed For all non german speakers, youre welcome. I probably just ruined the song for a lot of you :D
Please "Puppe"! Lyric video from "educatedmarine" channel! If people want live version, you can react to it after this one, but it is so important to hear the album version first (I have said this so many times that I am getting bored from myself 🙈). I mean, there are still so many amazing songs that you haven't heard, both popular and less popular, but I am actually dying to see your reaction to the album version of "Puppe". 😳🙈
@@wildwine6400 The only reason why I recommended Darksun's video is because I know that Andrei and Dominika prefer lyrics not to go over the screen and be too distracting. But yes, the translation itself might be better, although they don't differ much. Anyway, I am, personally, perfectly fine with both videos.
@@jovana_r EducatedMarine doesn't do that for the studio versions. Its just English cc. He did that on the older music videos but then switched to the English cc format for the music videos of the new album
@@wildwine6400 Wow, I just checked it and you're right. But it was different, right? I know what I watched so many times. I hope I haven't lost my mind. 😂 Anyway, I'm gonna change it in the initial message in case A&D don't read this whole conversation. And a big thanks to you for letting me know.
@@jovana_r the words "stylized" over the videos he did on the old live performance videos he did, which he doesn't need to do anymore of since Bucksttabu did em all. And he did em onscreen for music videos like Auslander and on the custom music videos for random songs he did. I do prefer cc personally as its more simple. Its probably a lot less work to. But yeah on songs from the untitled album and Zeit album and the Zeit albums music videos he switched to cc.
Hey guys!...you're blitzing through the Rammstein playlist! One of the older gems that you've missed is Du Riechst So Gut(Official Video). Looking forward to it :)
Never heard this. I only heard, that he got a "thank you letter", after someone was hearing "Weisses Fleisch", because someone was giving her the feeling, of not being alone with it, and that you can speak about it, but this version what you write would be new to me.
@@ISSO1407 Well I see it more as a "Romeo, Julia type". She is already married, but meets him. 😉 I am over 25 years into the band and I know, that he is talking about s... here, but as I said, I never heard that story with the letter before. The only time, where I even was reading it myself with a letter and one of their songs, ist the version I wrote. But I am from Austria and we get more articles, because of the German language. Never heard this version, but even today I would never call myself "an expert", when it comes down to Rammstein. But I also realised, that some are not really good informed and I was once even reading, that Richard Z. Kruspe was born in New York, where everybody should know, that all are coming from the GDR (once the communist part of Germany). Kruspe lived later in New York, but was not born there, because in the GDR, you where not allowed to travel into the West. I asked about the source, but this person remained silent. Just saying. Enjoy your evening/day. ❤
I like the both of you and most of your reactions, but you somehow always manage to be a bit naive, like you jump-in feet-first and then wonder where you are. A lot of it has to do, to my experience, with reactors who don't respect the chronology of the releases they react to. The best thing is to always start at the beginning and work your way up to the current day. And with "beginning" I mean the start of Rock music. Not rock 'n' roll, but Rock Music. Which the start of it is sometimes difficult to gather, especially when like me, you have close to twenty-seven thousand recordings which for 99% consist or rock, Hard Rock and Heavy Metal albums. Most of the time, I urge people to first listen to The Kinks' "You Really Got Me", then to Ted Nugent's " Stormtrooper" from the 1978 "Double Live Gonzo" album; then UFO's "Rock Bottom" from the 1979 "Strangers In The Night" live album and then "Napoleon Bonapart 1 & 2" By Budgie fom their 1972 "Bandolier" album. And in-between, you need to listen to Deep Purple's 1970 "Child In Time" from the "In Rock" album and Rainbow's "Stargazer" from their 1976 "Rising" album. Only then you'll have an inkling about the roots of Hard Rock and what became "Heavy Metal". Cheerio, warm greetings from Belgium.
You don't need to know all the music and history to be able to like, or dislike a song or a band. And you definitely don't need it to be able to give your honest reaction. I'd rather not to go too deep into this, but I'm just saying...
till was mad he needed stitches in head he walked off mad but couple songs before it was bleeding real bad! he was hitting his head with mic slit his head....by this song he had wiped the blood and it looks more dry....

I was listen to this Song a lot when i was in highshool 20 years ago. This Song never gets old
Love this song so much. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
This song also has a lovely instrumental piano version which is very chill and relaxed
If you notice, theres also no drums in this song. Schneider, who is usually on drums, is also on a keyboard along with Flake on his keyboard

Да, песня шикарная, очень красивая.
Песня такая величественная... Мне она напоминает что-то из эпоса вроде "Песни о Нибелунгах".

Apparently, this song was inspired by a letter Till received from a fan who was raped
