The Sunreef 210' Power and the Echo 'White Rabbit' are the largest trimarans to date at 210 feet. White Rabbit's sistership is 185' long. The Adastra is 155' long.

Was the hull also modified? She sims slimmer in the outriggers than Banque Populaire was unless I'm mistaken.

Kevin Costner sailed his boat alone and it was much faster! You need to take some hints from his boat.
LCS-2 would like to dispute the bogus claim about it being the world's biggest trimaran, by definition of a trimaran.
Most outlets are careful to qualify that claim by stating that S2 is the largest racing trimaran sailboat, because it's not even the longest sailing trimaran. Without those qualifiers, it's a bogus claim.
I thought the biggest trimaran was in the US Navy.
I wonder if I could single hand that beast? Ha, ha, just kidding. I single handed a 24 ft Corsair in the Alaskan panhandle... does that count? Best fishing I ever did in my life.
47 KPH... that's about 30 MPH.
It's 47 knots. That equates to 54 mph or 87 kph. Pretty damn quick for a sailboat.

No, the trimaran configuration is way MORE stable for the amount of sail carried than ANY other type of sailing craft
how do these handle in a storm compared to a single hull?
Trimarans are enormously capable in big seas.
For racing, modern routing software deliberately routes these boats into storms where the best wind is since they are so fast they can "ride" the storm front as it moves. Riding storm fronts is essential for record breaking...so yeah, they handle storms fine you could say.
