That's why you always need to have one hand holding the main sheet.... if you start to go over just pop the jam cleat and let the boom out..... then, you won't turtle.

I would have worked the traveler. They'd still been in the race! More efficient. I was the one to beat in my day. Young whippersnappers, they'll know better next time. I'm an old 18 square sailor.

It's like a formula 1 car, the safety mechanism is having someone competent enough to know how to rig and sail it properly for the conditions otherwise everything goes to shit

Sure as shit cant self right by yourself gonna take either two helicopters or a crain or four boats and a three heavy anchors cost a fortune just to get it back over and after all that you need fortune to fix the damage no hinged mast all carbon fiber. Must cost several million to build and maintain.
