- Abandoned in a field for 15 years just outside of a small town.
We work on ANYTHING with an ENGINE using mostly BUDGET TOOLS.
What are we working on?
1990 Dodge Omni
What are we using to complete the work?
Dad's tractor to pull it out of the field.
Do we have any concerns about today's work?
Is it too far gone to save?
Why did we decide to do this?
We're having some fun outside.
What's your favorite thing about this work?
We hope this video helps encourage you to start or continue working on whatever project you've got sitting around. We hope you have a great day. We appreciate our subscribers and viewers. A BIG THANKS to each of you. Remember, this is something YOU CAN DO so REACH OUT with QUESTIONS and don't be afraid of Starting-Continuing-Finishing the work your project needs.

We complete work in a small 2 stall garage with limited space. You can do anything you would like to do, no matter the space you have, just plan accordingly and adjust your plans to the size of your workspace. We Believe In YOU!
What's coming to the shop in the future?
1983 Chevy Diesel coming soon.
Are you able to do lots of work in a limited space?
Yes, without question. The biggest issues we face in our 2stallgarage are organization. Keeping the workspace organized and both stalls clear of clutter really helps with motivation, which then helps with productivity. Basically, if I see a clean workspace, I'm much more ready to dive into a project or even just scheduled maintenance.

Good luck brother will keep watching
Sorry it was a short one. I had to get it out and it’s been a busy week. Hope you have a good rest of the week. 🤝
Blessed week to your family also
Thank you, Joe.
Oh yeah, another bit of old L-Body lore you might need: pre-turbo Omni/Horizon/Chargers were equipped with the "car computer" as a part of the intake duct work, between the battery and driver's side fenderwell. Turbo cars and high-power 2.2s added an additional logic module w/MAP Sensor on the passenger side footwell, behind a bulged-out cover. I do not know if the America series went back to a single computer or maintained the dual-computer setup.
And after numerous experiments with all sorts of split-electrode/platinum/whatever spark plugs, my turbocharged Omnis loved the factory stock Champion R12YC plugs.
Excellent info. Thank you. 👍
Those Dodge Omni are cool cars my wife had one when we met over 23 years ago it was broke down she brought it to the shop I worked at & I Fuxed it
is that how yall met? That's a nice story
@M.TTT. yeah that's how we met
@@RobertsGarage ah that's rad man, classic 'how we met' stories like that are much less common nowadays.
Nice
23 years is a journey. Very nice 🙏
1990, very rare one year only interior.
Worth putting money into saving it?
I drove a 90.out of a Philly junk yard. best liitle car ever.
Fun little car. Newer video of a 1st drive on the channel. Happy Sunday!
Good stuff man saw all that snow n was like dang already lol. Hope yall are all doing well
Hey bud. We're good. Just relaxing after a day of work. What's a DSM? Never heard of that before.
@@2StallGarage DSM is diamond star motors. It was a collaborative effort with dodge and Mitsubishi. They had a few cars out under the dsm badge like the eclipse and eagle talon the Mitsubishi 3000gt and dodge stealth. Same cars just a few cosmetic differences
@GlassWerx wow, never had a clue. Thanks for sharing. Hope you guys have a nice nights rest.
@@2StallGarage yeah pretty interesting deal couple companies had mix breed cars like that Ford probe n couple of the Mazda cars back n the day were same way as well. Thanks we gonna try y'all as well.
@GlassWerx I like your motor swap idea. 🏁🙂
Good.job😄👍👍👏👏👏
Thank you. Happy Friday.
Bad ass
Yes, save the caravan!!!
Yes! With ya on that.
15 years only? What poor Sumbish had such terrible luck until 08?
p.s. Doing a modern GLH build with a Neon swap?
That SRT motor would be something. I hear they are heavy maintenance engines.
@@2StallGarage Heavy Maintenance…have you watched you channel???
@1Also truth. Lol
@@2StallGarage PT Cruiser Struts and Spindles bolt on and give you 11” disc brakes.
@1Also I took a screen shot of this. Always thankful for good info. Thank you
It will go
Oooh yes ugly car content coming! 👍😆 Love it.
Stay tuned, bonus (longer) video coming soon on this!
Funny about the cult following, with Facebook groups nowadays, theres a fan group for anything and everything. Kind of nice sometimes to find help/info for projects if the group isn't toxic.
Does this Dodge Omni come with a chime or a buzzer?
Buzzer 👍 did you catch the latest video that just came out today on this Omni?
I sure did, and it surprises me that Dodge was STILL using the scary buzzer on the 1990 Omni, even though you would think that they would have switched to a chime by 1987-88.@@2StallGarage
@Jac2Mac for sure. Never thought of that. Thanks for being here. 🙌
Being that this is technically a DSM and not dodge you could get a 4g63 turbo motor from first Gen eclipse n throw in there and u will basically have an omni glh which did per dsm folks stand for goes like hell. 😂😂
Over 200,000mi. Holy crap Could be all time K car record.,.lol ! Bet 5 bucks parked fuel line issues! P.S. Have fun with 5 different size lines routing 🙄🤔☹️
It’s a mess!
1 year only part's cluster is all electric. no cable.for speedo.
In England that's a Talbot sunbeam, had a Lotus worked engine, legendary rally cars😍👍 worth a fortune here now...but not with those queer gears😉
Video 2 coming out tomorrow. Thanks for watching. 🏁
I did have one dodge Omni
Very cool, Christina. Thanks for watching. 🏁
318 swap?
I won’t rule that out. 👍
More talk, no action, rather boring ,
I was crunched for time and had a microphone issue. Decided o better get something out for you guys. Much appreciated that you’re here. Better video coming very soon on this.
You spent more time talking about it then actually fixing it Try working on it next time
Agreed. I was having technical difficulties with the audio and was crunched for time. I’ll have a bonus video coming soon. Thanks for being here. Appreciate it. 🤝
@@2StallGarage I have a soft spot for a dodge omni Drove one for five years lol
@larryhullinger4141 Nice Larry. What year was yours?
@@2StallGarage 81 It still had a carburetor
