Pearl seems to be White Diamond's pearl. White Diamond might have planted her pearl (or one of them) to enable Rose Quartz to shatter her to bypass how Pink Diamond is loved by the other diamonds. Pearl is a perfect fighter and brilliant in all ways in love with Rose Quartz. She was probably created for that task as well as White Diamond parameters, guidelines. I also suspect that White Diamond is using Pink Diamond's shards to create a new Pink Diamond that will better serve her utopia. After all, she was a young Pick Diamond that was flawed that somehow became beloved by the other gems. Shattering her before that was easier.

I'd like to make myself believe, that pink pearl did it, sadly. It's hard for shards to reform, it's something we've never seen, cause all the diamonds are cruel and it's not on screen.
I also like to think our pearl is with White Diamond because she was fully white in "The Answer". Later on taking on all those colors, probably to show her being independent. Either way I'm sure she was part of White Diamond's court.

Why do Blue and Yellow's pearls both have translucent clothing? Yellow Pearl has translucent sleeves and Blue Pearl has a translucent skirt. Our Pearl, in her earlier designs like in the flashbacks, has a translucent kind of shawl which eventually was changed in designs when she regenerated to have a sleeveless shirt and somewhat of a tail on it. While Blue Pearl's skirt is lower, maybe stating lower pearl ranking, Yellow Pearl's shoulder pieces are higher up on her body, maybe meaning higher Pearl ranking. I'm pretty sure it WAS Pink Pearl, seeing as she was very close to Pink Diamond at the time, and as Zircon said, Rose herself appearing from nowhere, unseen, would be very unlikely, along with Rose's dislike for shattering etc. As the leader of the rebellion though, she is the best candidate for pinning the blame on. Once more, Pink Pearl would have the same gem placement and colour scheme as Rose, so amid the confusion, if Pink Pearl shapeshifted into her, it would be very easy to make it look like it was Rose that did it, convincing bystanders such as Eyeball (who seems fairly certain in what she saw, though can be easily tricked) that it was in fact Rose. Her motive however, is a mystery. She could be working of her own accord, hating her position as a Pearl servant and deciding to shatter her enslaver, perhaps being one of the Rebels. She could have been doing so as part of Pink's own plan to shatter herself, for whatever reason that might be. Or perhaps she was ordered to shatter Pink by another Diamond, who then was able to cover it all up, be it Blue, White or Yellow...
Here's my theory: I believe that Pink Pearl was secretly a Crystal Gem and may have helped Rose Quartz, and that the only Gems who knew where Pink Pearl's true loyalties lay were Rose, Yellow Pearl, and Blue Pearl. Weren't their reactions a little bit strange when Pink Pearl FINALLY got namedropped?

actually a very noticeable difference between our pearl, and the diamonds pearls, our pearl have more of an oval shape rather than the circular shape yellow and blue pearls have, maybe that makes them more "Elite", anyway, peridot said pearl was a "fancy one", so maybe only diamonds have circular shaped pearls, so ours woud be a fancy one compared to non diamond pearls

So it is a bit strange that out of all the things of Pink Diamond that Blue Diamond kept on that station that there was no sign of Pinks personal Pearl, that could mean she either defected or was shattered, in fact her existence will probably be Important seeing how she is the only real Witness to the crime. Though she also could of went into hiding, bubbled or was sealed into a item like Lapis. If she was shattered it would either be Rose trying to cut the "alarm", a Diamond killing the only witness or for Failing her Diamond, though which matters on who did the crime, or if she defected or is hiding it could be out of fear or resentment for the diamonds, or being Sealed in a object could be a way of torturing her for information or them trying to force the "truth" out of her if it really was a Diamond and no one want to believe it. There are currently too many variables about her that we don't know so it is impossible to know what happened to Pink Pearl, heck did they even confirm in the episode that Pink Diamonds Pearl was a Pink Pearl? Though overall i doubt that it was Pink Diamonds Pearl that shattered her, this isn't even about combat it is about if a Pearl could one shot one of the hardest gems around, Peridot got crushed by a bolder and walked away fine, Amethyst fell off a cliff and landed on her Gem and only got a crack, could any Pearl be strong enough to completely shatter a Gem even Harder then a Amethyst or Peridot and do it before any alarm or resistance could be raised about it?
From fanon assumptions, Pink was quite lenient with her Pearl's behaviour. I believe that maybe Pink Pearl was walking next to her instead, and couldn't see Rose, or whoever else shatter P.D. Or, the reason that hightier Pearls now walk before their Diamonds is because of the shattering. I think that Pearls ALWAYS walked behind their leaders until the shattering.
I have an idea of WHY pink diamond was shattered and why everyone thinks it was Rose that shattered her. When stevonnie was playing as pink diamond and Yellow diamond was Connie’s mom. Pink was not being treated very nice and I think she has not been treated nice for a while by the other diamonds for being short. When pink punched and cracked the glass I think she had enough and WANTED to be shattered. pink realized that Rose has been a thought threat for YEARS and she wanted to have someone who has already been a thought to be a threat to shatter her because she knew everyone thought Rose was a threat. She asked Rose shatter her but Rose is a nice.gem!SHE DID NOT WANT TO SHATTER PINK but she relished how much pink wanted to be gone so Rose gave in and shattered her. I don’t know HOW Rose got to her panquin but back to my theory. Rose did not t ell anyone that she shattered pink because she wanted to help Pink and she wanted to protect her. She did not care what’s happened to herself as long as she was helping Pink. sorry that this was long but this is just a random thought that came into my mind. I mean, you can always assume that Pink Pearl was taken out or held hostage; I find it very hard to believe that Pink Pearl would willingly help Rose yet then not escape with her.

listen to this in the episode where bismuth appears she talks about Roses sword about it going through the phyiscal form but never shattering the gem making it a fair fight and during the trial and from other gems they say pink diamond was shattered by Rose's sword. but as Bismuth said the sword was made for a fair fight so neither rose quartz nor the diamond could not shatter her because her pearl was right there my perediction is that Bismuth shattered Pink Diamond

No because I think that White and Yellow Diamond both wanted to get rid of Pink Diamond because she was defective and was getting too close to Blue Diamond. They soon got all Pink Diamond's gems to turn against her and made sure that Rose Quartz was coming to shatter her over a lie that she would hurt humans which she held dearly to her heart. Soon, gems of all the diamond's courts hated all Rose Quartz of all kinds after the shattering. I also think that White Diamond couldn't take any more lies and confronted Yellow and Yellow had to silence her by getting rid of her somehow. This is apparent because in,'' That Will Be All,'' Yellow sings'' Why keep up her silly zoo, or tell me what's the use of feeling blue,'' this shows she wants Blue to forget about Pink and everything she left behind. Yellow also framed Rose Quartz and tried to shatter Pink's signature gems, Rose Quartz. In, ''The Trial", Yellow is seen rolling her eyes when the prosecuting Zircon mentions Pink Diamond and when the defending Zircon started to get on her trail, she furiously yells at her when the defending ZIrcon she inches closer and closer to exposing her. She ended the trial as soon as the defending ZIrcon pointed the blame at her or another Diamond by poofing them both. She says'',Can't we just shatter Rose Quartz and be done with it!" in the episode the answer-the first time we saw pearl she was mostly white...but our pearl now has mixed colors and a star..the reason for that is i think pearls can change form when poofed and i think our pearl changed form to a pearl with multi colors and a star with her symbolizing her being a crystal gem and as what garnet said "for pearl to be free" in one episode..i think when pearl accepted that she really is a rebellion member she might have changed form..form another gem's pearl to a rebellion pearl..she is free from slavery

I think it was Bismuth that shattered Pink. Her character's history is shrouded in mystery, like why did Rose bubble her? but I think it was because Rose wanted to protect Bismuth from all the gems that want her dead (due to her killing Pink Diamond) so she hid her in a place that only she new of...that's Lion. I've written this pretty badly and I have probably forgotten a few things but ye😬
Let's just say pink pearl is the fusion we see in Wanted, why would she say that earth was destroyed and have no idea what the crystal gems are, so she is gone, but look at the reaction from pearl when eyeball said Rose shattered pink diamond, she was literally dying, so what if pink pearl betrayed pink diamond because she was doing something bad to the place that pink diamond came from, so she betrayed her, went to rose, got pooled and came back free, but she still had feelings towards her, she might be a bit clingy who remembers when lion and Steven showed her the sword???
I KNOW!! Our Pearl, let's say she was pinks, shapeshifted into rose and shattered pink. Pearl doesn't like to talk about shapeshifting, like as we saw in cat fingers, and doesn't say anything about Pink. It could be why she hasnt shapeshifted so far, because Pearl felt guilty. Plus, if Eyeball was there and saw it, eyeball would of believed it. 1. Ruby's are dumb 2. If Eyeball was fooled and thought amethyst was Jasper, this easily could've happened. If this is true, now we know why our pearl was standing next to sapphire. If she was used to standing in front of pink diamond, then her instinct would have been to stand in front of sapphire too.
I made up my own theory. So, Pink Diamond was shattered by Rose Quartz AND Blue Diamond. I think this because in that episode we're Steven cries Blue Diamonds tears, I doubt that they were Blue Diamonds, Blue Diamond might always be sad because she feels the Guilt, though. I think Steven was crying because Rose Quartz was ALSO feeling guilt, so that, in my opinion, is what happened. And because Quartz shattered Pink Diamond, maybe she was just saving Pink Pearl, and to not seem suspicious, she changed into a different looking pearl. And that is my proof that our Pearl is Pink Diamond's. I doubt that Rebecca is actually going with this, but it was fun making up this theory. XDDDDD

CrystalQueen90 It has been stated before, no regular gem of any kind can shatter a diamond. Only a diamond can shatter a diamond. Now, the only suspects we have are White and yellow diamond. Blue is innocent, if you watched the episode The trial, it proves her innocence. Yellow diamond however, was practically itching for "Rose quartz" to be shattered without trial. It's highly suspicious as well as her lashing out as she was accused. White diamond may have some part in it, though it's still a bit unclear.
Sonicsgirl13 Actually, any gem that's strong enough can shatter a diamond. It doesn't have to be a diamond. And if you're applying that hardness scale thing in real life, that's hardness, not toughness. Give a diamond a good smack with a hammer in real life and **CRACK** you get a shatter diamond.

Wow, kinda wild that Pearl being a Diamond’s Pearl was foreshadowed in this way, since she had only lives as a Diamond’s Pearl, and thus instinctively stayed in the front of her “owner”
To be honest I think Pink Diamond death was an accident. Like Pink Diamond was meant to be kind right, so what I can see happening is that Pink Diamond asked Rose Quartz to meet her somewhere so they can talk in private about how to end the war, but one of the other Diamonds found out about this and followed them. Then one of the other Diamonds attacks Rose Quartz which Rose defended herself with her sword causing the attack to hit Pink Diamond and shatter her. So now that Pink Diamond is shattered and there is no proof that Rose Quartz did it, the Diamonds make a deal with her about ending the war if she goes along with pretending to shatter Pink Diamond. They go off and set up an act which Rose Quartz shattered Pink Diamond. Now how I think Pink Pearl will play into this is that she would have seen the hold thing and while the Diamonds and Rose Quartz would have stood there in complete shock, Pink Pearl would have ran over to Pink Diamond shattered gem and bubble her up and ran off somewhere and that is why no one has Pink Diamond shattered gem because Pink Pearl has it.
My thoughts: White Diamond shattered Pink Diamond because she was getting too attatched to Earth. How: White Diamond found out about Pink Pearl's rendezvous with a Ruby and timed her attack accordingly with one of their dates. And one of the reasons why there were no guards was because it was meant to be a private meeting like in What's the use in Feeling Blue?. Pink Pearl blamed herself for Pink Diamond's death and ran away with Ruby.
Well I have a theory. You know how in the episode Trial How Steven says that Rose Quartz's sword can't shatter a gem well if that's so maybe someone has her and who has the huge Gem bubbling room? The Crystal Gem, and who gets shaky when she's mentioned? The Crystal gems. So maybe she's still alive. "But hey that's just a theory! A GAME THEORY! Cut!" (MatPat)

Why do Blue and Yellow's pearls both have translucent clothing? Yellow Pearl has translucent sleeves and Blue Pearl has a translucent skirt. Our Pearl, in her earlier designs like in the flashbacks, has a translucent kind of shawl which eventually was changed in designs when she regenerated to have a sleeveless shirt and somewhat of a tail on it. While Blue Pearl's skirt is lower, maybe stating lower pearl ranking, Yellow Pearl's shoulder pieces are higher up on her body, maybe meaning higher Pearl ranking. Our Pearl's shawl is her highest article of clothing. Does this mean she belonged to a Diamond possibly?

I'm pretty sure it WAS Pink Pearl, seeing as she was very close to Pink Diamond at the time, and as Zircon said, Rose herself appearing from nowhere, unseen, would be very unlikely, along with Rose's dislike for shattering etc. As the leader of the rebellion though, she is the best candidate for pinning the blame on.
Once more, Pink Pearl would have the same gem placement and colour scheme as Rose, so amid the confusion, if Pink Pearl shapeshifted into her, it would be very easy to make it look like it was Rose that did it, convincing bystanders such as Eyeball (who seems fairly certain in what she saw, though can be easily tricked) that it was in fact Rose.
Her motive however, is a mystery. She could be working of her own accord, hating her position as a Pearl servant and deciding to shatter her enslaver, perhaps being one of the Rebels.
She could have been doing so as part of Pink's own plan to shatter herself, for whatever reason that might be.
Or perhaps she was ordered to shatter Pink by another Diamond, who then was able to cover it all up, be it Blue, White or Yellow...
Here's my theory: I believe that Pink Pearl was secretly a Crystal Gem and may have helped Rose Quartz, and that the only Gems who knew where Pink Pearl's true loyalties lay were Rose, Yellow Pearl, and Blue Pearl. Weren't their reactions a little bit strange when Pink Pearl FINALLY got namedropped?

actually a very noticeable difference between our pearl, and the diamonds pearls, our pearl have more of an oval shape rather than the circular shape yellow and blue pearls have, maybe that makes them more "Elite", anyway, peridot said pearl was a "fancy one", so maybe only diamonds have circular shaped pearls, so ours woud be a fancy one compared to non diamond pearls

So it is a bit strange that out of all the things of Pink Diamond that Blue Diamond kept on that station that there was no sign of Pinks personal Pearl, that could mean she either defected or was shattered, in fact her existence will probably be Important seeing how she is the only real Witness to the crime.
Though she also could of went into hiding, bubbled or was sealed into a item like Lapis.
If she was shattered it would either be Rose trying to cut the "alarm", a Diamond killing the only witness or for Failing her Diamond, though which matters on who did the crime, or if she defected or is hiding it could be out of fear or resentment for the diamonds, or being Sealed in a object could be a way of torturing her for information or them trying to force the "truth" out of her if it really was a Diamond and no one want to believe it.
There are currently too many variables about her that we don't know so it is impossible to know what happened to Pink Pearl, heck did they even confirm in the episode that Pink Diamonds Pearl was a Pink Pearl?
Though overall i doubt that it was Pink Diamonds Pearl that shattered her, this isn't even about combat it is about if a Pearl could one shot one of the hardest gems around, Peridot got crushed by a bolder and walked away fine, Amethyst fell off a cliff and landed on her Gem and only got a crack, could any Pearl be strong enough to completely shatter a Gem even Harder then a Amethyst or Peridot and do it before any alarm or resistance could be raised about it?

When stevonnie was playing as pink diamond and Yellow diamond was Connie’s mom. Pink was not being treated very nice and I think she has not been treated nice for a while by the other diamonds for being short. When pink punched and cracked the glass I think she had enough and WANTED to be shattered. pink realized that Rose has been a thought threat for YEARS and she wanted to have someone who has already been a thought to be a threat to shatter her because she knew everyone thought Rose was a threat. She asked Rose shatter her but Rose is a nice.gem!SHE DID NOT WANT TO SHATTER PINK but she relished how much pink wanted to be gone so Rose gave in and shattered her. I don’t know HOW Rose got to her panquin but back to my theory. Rose did not t ell anyone that she shattered pink because she wanted to help Pink and she wanted to protect her. I think it was Bismuth that shattered Pink. Her character's history is shrouded in mystery, like why did Rose bubble her? but I think it was because Rose wanted to protect Bismuth from all the gems that want her dead (due to her killing Pink Diamond) so she hid her in a place that only she new of...that's Lion. I've written this pretty badly and I have probably forgotten a few things but ye😬

So, Pink Diamond was shattered by Rose Quartz AND Blue Diamond. I think this because in that episode we're Steven cries Blue Diamonds tears, I doubt that they were Blue Diamonds, Blue Diamond might always be sad because she feels the Guilt, though. I think Steven was crying because Rose Quartz was ALSO feeling guilt, so that, in my opinion, is what happened. And because Quartz shattered Pink Diamond, maybe she was just saving Pink Pearl, and to not seem suspicious, she changed into a different looking pearl. And that is my proof that our Pearl is Pink Diamond's. I doubt that Rebecca is actually going with this, but it was fun making up this theory. XDDDDD

Blue is innocent, if you watched the episode The trial, it proves her innocence. Yellow diamond however, was practically itching for "Rose quartz" to be shattered without trial. It's highly suspicious as well as her lashing out as she was accused. White diamond may have some part in it, though it's still a bit unclear.

Here's a thought: what if Steven could find out what really happened by asking the room?

To be honest I think Pink Diamond death was an accident. Like Pink Diamond was meant to be kind right, so what I can see happening is that Pink Diamond asked Rose Quartz to meet her somewhere so they can talk in private about how to end the war, but one of the other Diamonds found out about this and followed them. Then one of the other Diamonds attacks Rose Quartz which Rose defended herself with her sword causing the attack to hit Pink Diamond and shatter her.
So now that Pink Diamond is shattered and there is no proof that Rose Quartz did it, the Diamonds make a deal with her about ending the war if she goes along with pretending to shatter Pink Diamond. They go off and set up an act which Rose Quartz shattered Pink Diamond.
Now how I think Pink Pearl will play into this is that she would have seen the hold thing and while the Diamonds and Rose Quartz would have stood there in complete shock, Pink Pearl would have ran over to Pink Diamond shattered gem and bubble her up and ran off somewhere and that is why no one has Pink Diamond shattered gem because Pink Pearl has it.

My thoughts:
White Diamond shattered Pink Diamond because she was getting too attatched to Earth.
How: White Diamond found out about Pink Pearl's rendezvous with a Ruby and timed her attack accordingly with one of their dates.
