John Carl Buechler and George P. Wilbur are so well-spoken, they have such detailed recollections of their experiences working on these films. You can tell they were both personally invested in the series. RIP John Carl, your legacy is immortal.
I actually like this mask. It does well hiding the eyes. Looks much more like the original than 4 and 5. The actors for Michael did well too. I like this Michael. The problem (as with a few Halloween movies) is the story. For me, the story tends to fuck up a lot more than the actors. I was kind of okay with the family stuff, but I really hate the thorn angle. This is why I'm glad they at least had Michael kill the whole cult and not be controlled. Though I like the movie's pace and kills, except the exploding head. They're more like Jason kills though. In this way, 4 was a better Halloween movie.

I think year after year, I think Michael’s rage only intensifies more and more with his ongoing search for Jamie. As a result as his rage intensifies his kills really ramp up in 6. I really felt in this one he took it up a few notches especially in the hospital room slaughtering the entire cult, very violent and horrifying. So I understand why the kills were so ramped up and violent.
While I am NOT a big fan of H6, I do appreciate the overall appearance of the mask--particularly because out of all the sequels, aside from H18, it does closely resemble the original 1978 mask! The thorn storyline shit is what killed this film for me ! This film had a potential to really be GOOD!

MrZTeddy He was very confused at times. On the panel he was searching for words, and sometimes hard to understand. But everyone seemed concerned, like he was going to stroke-out or something. When I talked to him and shook his hand, he was gracious and polite, but glazed over. I think it was $60 for the autograph/pic combo. I needed all my signatures so I just paid $40 for the signature (too much anyhow). It seemed like he was generally pretty frail.
Bill Flynn I think it has something to do with his wife. I’ve heard that his wife died 2 years ago and that he’s not all there because it understandably shook him so much. Sucks seeing him like that. Hope he gets better.
H6 was great did fill in gaps of the story made sense too. But, I had no idea someone could be Mickey Rooney's (great actor/comedian) body double stuntman played Michael Myers.
You definitely gotta give it up for the tone and atmosphere in both cuts of 6, for the most part on the theatrical side. I always thought they did a great job making what we didn't know, like the Man in Black and stuff like that, a little more center stage than Michael while never outshining him. The Producer's Cut has that feel a bit, like, Michael is just hanging out with these people, standing around and taking orders. Really kind of takes away from the whole "evil on two legs" thing. I always appreciated the theatrical version for at least nixing that, albiet creating a version of the film where no questions were really answered and the Cult of Thorn is more or less a science project. I think we could all pass on knowing who fathered Jamie's kid as well.. that part of things simply had no reason to be there. I guess it HAD to be innocent blood, though. That's the only concrete reason I can think of for the baby being there.

He did the entire operating room massacre and the lead up to it, he then chases the doctor down the hall and smashes his face thru the gate (that doctor was played by his real life Dad, Fred Lerner, who was the stunt coordinator), and then the entire laboratory scene - choking Kara, reaching for Danny, getting plunged with syringes, the pipe smackdown by Tommy, etc.
But Tina in part 5 was possibly the best actress of the entire series!!! Until Sherri knocked her off the mantle with that historic H2 performance I so just made myself sick!!! #trollingfail

Well in my OPINION this movies atmosphere hit it on the mark except the mountains in the back ground and the mask was ok but it still sucked it looked fake and all clumpy then the jumpsuit was all faded its was a bit better than 4 nd 5 nd h20 but 5 fucked it all up with that thorn cult bullshit to me h2 was the best sequel nd h6 was a shit show I'll watch it when it comes out during the amc 31 days of Halloween shows it but for me to be like oh I want to watch the Halloween movie 6 would be the last one on my mind
How many times do we have to hear a story about some idiot producer who fucks up everything and destroys the flow of a movie? They replace George P Wilbur because he was too big? I've seen fan films on TH-cam with better plots and stories than what Hollywood has put out in the last 20 years.
I think part 6 was the last good Halloween movie that was made.
