- Xavi came in with a long haircut, but wanted to keep a lot of length. He wanted to add shape to it and make it easier for day to day styling. Dan gave Xavi a long men's hairstyle cut with a palm to palm technique to add movement and texture.

I once asked a barber if he could just remove about 0.5 inches off of my hair, and he ended up instead leaving me with only 0.5 inches of hair length. This is why I never go to barbers, but I wish this man was my barber.
Yeah currently I'm growing my hair out and people on yt are saying you've to get a haircut for the cutting or trimming the ends and I fear that because probably my barber isn't familiar with a long haircut as no guy in my area has such middle length long hair, so no one is recommending me to continue to grow it up
Went for a trim after 9 months to even out my grown out disconnected undercut and same thing barber left me with an inch of hair left I had about 3 inches of hair ....

@@soakedlemons9990 hey just trim back every other month or every three months! When ever the front grows out, let it catch up with the back,keep the back short to catch up the with back,then grow it all out!!!!!!!!!

@@tir2179 o mah gah, tell me effin about it. I can NEVER find a barber/stylist to cut my hair the way I want it, or at least have some natural hair cutting ability, basically knowing how to cut with little description.
We all need a barber like him who's great at communication...
The way he illustrate his vision explain it part to part is really comforting for the costumer and it really helps in breaking the awkward silence and the same way.. understands our requirements!
Yeah, I also had long hair and went to a hairdresser only for the dude to immediately start cutting it much shorter than we had agreed on, without any notice. It's grown back out by now but I went through a couple months with hair I was uncomfortable with, communicating as a hairdresser can't be understated.

I have been growing my hair out and after being dissapointed once by a barber who butchered my long hair before an important event, I showed my mum this video and told her to follow all the steps and trim my hair and the result came out so much better than any barber in the market. Throughly impressed and subscribed!!!

im doing a gross exaggeration here, but i feel like most indian barbers arent used to cutting longer hair so they dont really know the techniques, so its better to go to a salon or something if you've got deep pockets or use your mom like you did

@@Gaurav.P0 hey this is my other account, but yes call up beauticians and ask them if they cut men because of longer hair, look up hair salons near your area on maps and call them up
This gentleman has saved my life. I had the fellow in the chair's exact haircut, and this helped me be able to communicate what I wanted to my barber effectively to get the cut he received

The first barber I ever seen who doesn't want to cut more than the client asks. He wanted to cut less and the client told "more". Great and professional haircut I loved it. You handled his hair carefully. The model is beautiful he has very nice hair.

Xavi has fine but gorgeous hair, two videos ago Dan gave his client a beautiful 90's hairstyle, and in this one he reversed a 90's hairstyle lol, scissor haircuts are definitely my favorite, even on my own hair :)

Bro i need to find someone like this in LA. I been going to supercuts for so long but since i get a cut maybe 3 times a year i haven’t prioritized finding a barber i like. Supercuts gets the job done but they do the bare minimum. Barbers like this are elite, they really know how to bring out the potential in your hair.

Another awesome haircut by Dan. I've been growing out my hair for the past year - a truly painful process - and it really needs some shape cut into it. But Dan is the only man I would trust to do that. As they say here in Turkey Dan - Health to your hands!

Fantastic barber with unreal scissor over comb work. Although not a fan of the shorter sideburn area as I prefer mine not slicked back behind my ears I think on this client everything worked perfectly and the finished article was 10/10.

I have thick eyebrows. Something about week ago I wanted to use razor to straighten my hair, but my hand slipped and now my right eyebrow is normal and my left is half. Sorry, if I made some typos.

As someone with more curly hair trying to grow my hair out (to rock the Jon Snow look), this is a fantastic video on how to clean up the long hair style. You took off a couple months, or so, of hair off but still kept the nice shape.
Will use this video as a guide with my barber after I grow out my hair in a few more months.

Thank you so much for the tutorial! I chopped off four inches Friday, and I've been trying to figure out a way to layer it. Of course mine will be shorter than this but this is an excellent idea. I hope I can point cut on myself in the back. LOL
It would be nice if the stylist would discuss his tools. I cut my husbands hair and have generic tools. I would love to have better scissors and I didn’t know about the comb sizes either.

Just been to my Barbers and asked for a textured crop he’s looked at me and said what’s that, then the women said it’s a french crop but longer and you texture it with products lol please open a shop in Kent

I would often dream of me having long hair. My hair was good texture, wavy little on curly (from mother's side of family). I could pull my hair above my forehead down to the middle of my nose bridge. No more though. :))

It's not that full actually. It just has volume which creates the illusion of a head with a lot of hair.

just go to a salon in london its a pretty standard haircut that most toni and guy hairdressers know. I wouldnt go to a standard barbers though.
