This is me! Thanks Dan for the carefully-crafted haircut. I am getting so many compliments from women and men my self-esteem has shot through the roof. I am currently wearing it up in a man bun style, but also wear it long and flowing with some gel. I feel like a magnificent Lion that has the pick of the Pride's harem.
Nice do man. Mine is this long currently and my advice is grow that beard out now too. Push out two solid months untouched then get it whipped into shape by a professional. I wish I’d known how many ladies of our generation there are wanting to live out their Game of Thrones dreams when I was a single man!
Looks great so often I see men with this length hair & it is too styled or too blunt, whereas this manages to look natural & at the same time a nice masculine haircut. Also I'm not a huge fan of longer hair on men but this really suits you. Also seems to show off the hair colour much more than when it was longer & just fell straight down. Yeah, looks great 👍 💈🪮✂️💇

I have been cutting mens hair professionally for 5 years now and I had no idea you could cut long hair this way. I was always taught to start at the back and then use the back length as a guide for the sides, cutting horizontally not vertically or palm to palm as he calls it. This is a much simpler method. This is how I do scissor cuts on medium length hair, only I would angle it in more to give a more contoured look for the head shape on a medium length cut, but wow I had no idea this works on hair of that length. Absolutely bored to tears with fades zzzz. It's really satisfying to watch you cut long hair Thank you so much for this video. The cut looked really good

I turn people away if I don't know how to do a cut, it's not worth the stress. Had my shop 4 and a half years now, all regular clients so i must be doing something right. They even buy me gifts!!!

The way he cuts horizontally does not take into account what's happening in the hairline around the face w/o guideline, which many times should be left longer. His technique seems limited. I've been doing hair over 35 yrs.
longer hairs always make the great transformations, and i like how you show respect to your clients' requests on their haircut, nowadays most of the barbers just cut it off without analyzing facial featutes of clients or the status of their hair, etc. I also can't wait to see more videos from you Dan
Fantastic transformation! I’ve been a cosmetologist since 1982…(I know, forever…and yes, I do stay updated with further education etc!) and I love watching you explain exactly why and what you’re doing! It’s so important to gain the trust of your client with the consultation! I always try to leave at least 10 mins with new clients…sometimes I need more, sometimes less…but it not only makes sure I understand what they’re conveying and that makes them so much more comfortable with me and the end results! I’ve watched several of your videos and I feel like you always do the same! Well done! Much respect!

This haircut is exactly what I had in mind, with some movement & texture in the hair, shoulder length. You created something nice out of a blank canvas. Much better now! I think at least in a man almost always looks better long until certain point, but after that point it's not necessarily true. So, when the hair touch your body or so, more isn't better. For me, well balance is like yours, mid lenght classic looks great

I'm a barber and I cut women's hair, but I always explain, I only do men's styles. I am not trained to cut women's hair. I have about 6 regular female clients in my shop. I've heard some barbers say no because they just don't like women being in what they see as a man's space, but I welcome anyone into my shop, if they want a man's style. I wouldn't attempt a pixie cut on a woman though, I'd only ever do a style that I'd do on a man, because that's what I'm qualified to do. I hope you find someone (cheaper at the barbers too! Well it is in my shop)

Great stuff mate, just try ask some more open ended questions rather than leading questions. This way it doesn't force the customer to just agree with you. Just some constructive criticism. Keep up the great work.
I wish Regal Gentleman partners with organizations who makes wigs for people who go through chemo and advice, and encourage people to donate their hair instead wasting it.
He has said several times that there are strict guidelines for donating hair. One of them is the hair has to be between 12 - 14". I don't believe this man met the criteria since he was still keeping it quite long.
Wow! Handsome man, gorgeous hair, great haircut - total win all round! My question with this kind of texturized cut is how do you maintain it? It seems like it would just get thinner as you have to keep texturizing it over time. It seems a difficult cut to maintain. Looks beautiful now, tho❤
