Julia Lerner there are so many natural things that are supposedly good for you. Which ones do you take and how about long term effects and interaction with other things. I think it’s best to just eat properly and exercise and not look for magic super foods that have no long term studies. Do a search for healthy foods and herbs and it will make your head spin. Xylitol is the latest craze like algae was and so many other things before. I need xylitol because my mouth is dry when I sleep which causes a huge increase in tooth decay. It stimulates salivation.

We cannot recommend a specific brand, Rohit, but when in doubt, we'd suggest choosing a reputable one with good reviews! 👍

Love it when they just read titles of study's and don't tell you how it actually works. Increases calcium absorption...How? Boost collagen production...HOW?!

99.9% of people would not understand why so no point. Look it up if you are a scientist. The explanations for these kinds of things are beyond us so she could have said anything and you would not know if it made sense or not. There is no negative literature about the effect of xylitol so there is no risk. Of course whatever the explanation, you never know what long term effects are. Many things that we used to,think were healthy was proven to be bad after time, so it’s all a crap shoot anyway.

@@perrypelican9476 Your right it's pointless to explain because 99% wouldn't even get it. But people that even search this stuff in the first place 9 times out of ten actually know basic science. Also "Look it up if your a scientist" is basically the whole point of my original comment. I looked it up and it was a video with small explanation.
(Luckily it goes into more detail on there website.)
You don't need to be a scientist to understand how stuff is beneficial. You remember 7th grade human biology? If yes it will make sense. The explanation aren't beyond the curious.

It is absolutely true that xylitol reduces decay when used in place of sugar, however, studies also showed that adding it on top of your diet can reduce tooth decay and cavities by as much as 30-85%!

@@dawncombs1408 do you feel like you’ve built a dependence to it? The saline stuff I got too used to and became dependent on it and had to have it or I was completely stuffed at all times instead of just night time.
