    This seems more about a pitch for 5 products rather than basic oral care.
    Those "chews" (1st red flag) are described as "chewy and sticky." That sure doesn't sound good. The first ingredient is Maltitol "Syrup." No thanks. Arginine is listed way down the ingredients list. I also avoid foods that have been chemically processed with alkali. Simply no thank you.
    Personally, I make a very inexpensive rinse made up from water, baking soda, xylitol and sea salt. It is an amazing rinse. I don't brush with significant amounts of BSoda though because being a (rock) salt (sodium biocarbonate), it can be quite abrasive to enamel. Nearly all, if not all whitening products are abrasive. Once that enamel is gone- it's gone forever. I would also never go near fluoride (read about the pineal gland (makes melatonin) so it can lead to a permanent lack of sleep- and many other bad issues like dental and skeletal fluorosis and more.)
    I only use (and make), homemade toothpaste and rinses that are pH balanced, natural, organic and made only from food grade ingredients. They also contain absolutely no harmful preservatives.

      @@divinerose8578 No. Too busy. You can use Fluoride free HELLO Toothpaste. It's close to perfect. Homemade recipes are out there. If there is no fluoride, it's a great start. Another big trick and health hack is to do Keto. I do so I eat very little carbs. I have not had a cavity in years. More then a paste you use for 1 minute and wash off, your oral habits and diet have a far greater impact. Regular cleanings are also very important.

    Hello,
    I have had extreme decay issues casuing me to need tons of roots canals and mulriple extractions. Ive paid close to 10k in 4 months on my teeth trying get everything in order and it just doesnt stop.
    What would you reccomend?

    • @CarrieIbbetson
      @CarrieIbbetson  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @brandonschiavone9221 Oh no, hearing about your dental struggles really tugs at my heartstrings. Spending so much and still running into problem after problem sounds incredibly frustrating.
      Have you ever checked the pH level in your mouth, or looked into what types of bacteria are hanging around in there? Sometimes, using a disclosing solution to see where you might be missing spots while brushing can be a real eye-opener too.
      What do you think about taking things step by step? Decay doesn't just happen; it's got its reasons, right? Maybe we could look into screening your mouth’s environment together to pinpoint exactly what's causing the decay. This could be a good starting point to break the cycle.
      I'm here to help you through this, step by step. How does that sound? Would you be up for trying to figure this out together?

I feel so disheartened by this and I do not want to have to do traditional western dentistry as he is so young. I don’t know how to help him. Fun fact...the human body creates 15 grams of xylitol a day thru natural metabolism :)
      Sometimes when you are using xylitol for oral health healing there can be a time when the diseased biofilm is stripped away and as the tissues are getting healthier the teeth can be sensitive. What are you experiencing in regards to "healing"?

    How about change the pH of your saliva by eating real food, not highly processed junk food.

    • @CarrieIbbetson
      @CarrieIbbetson  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great thought process, but that isn't the reality for many...and instead of pushing my agenda on people, I aim to help people where they are in the moment and then also encourage them to make changes as they go along. With that being said, there are so many reasons that "real food" won't just magically fix the saliva...eating real food and mouth breathing will still mess up oral pH. It's deeper than just eat real food. We are a number of generations into epigenetc changes in humans...if eating real food was the answer, every WAP follower would be healthy and have balanced oral pH, and sadly, that isn't the case. So for now, I will make content that meets the consumers where they are at and at least help them along the way, because, that's what I do :)

      I'm not just looking to change pH with xylitol, it does a lot more than baking soda will do for biofilm build up and changing the way the film on the biofilm allows for bacteria to survive and breed. The xylitol helps alter the biofilm not just neutralize pH
