This is such a nice size for a shawl with the warmer weather coming and just right for when you want a little something around your neck. Great colours for when you want something more bright and then a more neutral one for the days you want something with softer colours! The tassels add that special finish to them.
I finally finished 2 of these. Yealll quick. Thank you for the pattern. I’m terrible at attaching the tassel. But the second one was better. I rewatched many times. 😂😂
Just finished the first of many of these little scarves. I absolutely love how easy it is to complete and how beautifully this pattern works up. Using the stitch marker was vital to the project. So glad you made that an important point. Thank you both!!! ❤
Making another little neck shawl, this time with a finer yarn and a smaller hook (4.5mm). I usually use a chunky yarn double up my strands as I’m uncomfortable using a thin hook. Well, I purchased a set of HiyaHiya hooks and I cannot get over the difference. They glide so smoothly even when using a less than premium yarn. Worthwhile investment!
I'm loving that bright one for summer in my beach town and the pastel one for winter. We're the same temperature all year and a neck scarf is an everyday necessity. Thank you for another winner.^•,•^ give Layla a kiss for me.
Thank you for another lovely design and tutorial. I am just making the Cleopatra shawl at the moment but will probably squeeze this shawlette in just for a change. X
Anja, I love your shawls. Made the Marianne shawl in different yarn weights and sizes Also the reading shawl. I am relatively new to the craft with no other mentors than the instructors I find on youtube. You are my favorite. Anyway, I was so excited to try this project, but made it slightly smaller. I was so disappointed to find that my sides were uneven! I had 61 rows on the upside and only 42 on the downside. Any idea what I could have done wrong?
Thank you for your lovely comment, did you do one row with the decrease ( where the stitch marker is) and then a row of just dcs ( no decrease)? Anja x
Why do I always want to make everything you demonstrate? I have a knitted scarf/shawlette like this. This version would definitely work up faster than the one I knitted with fingering weight yarn!
Ahhh now that's the curse of a crafter, always finding something else to add to the list, never mind Marcy, you'll get to it one day, thank you, Anja x

It doesn't have to be a digital scale, ordinary kitchen scales will work too Carol! Anja x

@@OpheliaTalks I started it right after watching the video. Working up quickly and looking so nice!
What is the finished length of yours please?
Do I not mention it in the video? It’s about 70 inches, Anja x
Can you rename it the "Yarn Chicken Shawlette". 😊
Hahahaha, there should be no 'chicken' involved bonobo2go! Thanks for the name though!! Anja x
👏👏👏😍🧶🥰❤️😘👍
