    I went down this rabbit hole too and then found the wonders of bill pay. At all the banks I’ve used, there’s a little section called “Bill Pay” and it’s completely free. No need to mail a check, the bank will do it for you!
    The water board was asking a $5 convenience fee to e-check from my bank account every month. With bill pay, $0. It’s as if I took the check straight to their drive through. With bill pay, you have the convenience of paying online, but none of the cost. Not to mention that you’d be saving money on stamps which can only go up from here…

      This is great advice thank you! I've always seen it on my bank's app but never used it. If this is possible this is even a better route than writing a check. Thanks so much for tip. Going to pin your comment to the top.
