I think I figured it out? I could still see the blue because I didn’t have much salt, I added more salt and I will give it some time to recharge!

Did you pour it in the tank or the brine well? I've never seen blue come out of my sinks. I usually do this process before I go to bed so it can do its recharge and nobody is using water while it does its thing. Let me know if it worked out for you after adding a little more salt.

Yes, Plex is free. Plex does offer a paid version but it is not required.

Are you sure the recharge was complete? The cleaner would not make it be full like that. I would ensure the cycle was complete and that the drain hose is working and clean.

Sometimes this can be referred to as a socket? I would search [year] kia forte running light socket. Hope this helps or is what you were asking for.

Same. Lately I've been experimenting with dvds converted to mp4 and bluray left at mkv files. But you're right usually I can't tell much of a quality difference. Especially with dvds.

I've had several people tell me several different numbers. I suggest everyone try out and experiment and see what they like. I agree though especially when it comes to DVD things already lower quality... and if you are converting 100s or 1000s of old footage to digital file size matters over time to some people.

The lights on this thing are ridiculous. I have other vehicles that go 2x, 3x, 4x longer life than this one. Glad the video helped you!

Talking with other people who have had similar issues, it was their computer. They were a little older computers. You don't have to use handbrake. You can keep .mkv file. It will be larger but you'll have a great quality video and it can work on Plex or Jellyfin whichever you prefer.

You don't have to pay to use Plex. Not sure why the quotation marks? Honestly, I have no experience with Jellyfin. Heard good things about it. I already started in Plex and have no issues. Does what I need it to 😬

@@SteeleOfAllTrades Oh so the Plex Pass is now free? The Server may well be free, but, I can guarantee you their Client-side stuff was NEVER FREE!

The Plex pass does cost money. But I do not need the Plex pass to convert my physical media to digital and enjoy my own library of content.

Example streaming Music in a post Google Music World to my Phone.. * This may in fact be a poorer example, as IIRC Plex has at least stopped inhaling their own farts long enough to make that much of it free without the Pass. Not that I have longer have a care. Jellyfin is simply better, for being cleaner.

Make sure after inserting the disc and the program recognizes the disc you click on the dvd or blu ray drive image. Do NOT click the folder on the top left with the green arrow. Folder with green arrow will create disc backup / iso file. Did this help you? Hard to describe in text. When I say click on drive image I am referring to the part you can see at about 3:25 in the video. Hope this helps!

Bulbs are what produce the light? Are you referring to the bulb plastic housing?

Pinning your comment to the top so that nobody else has the same issue and doesn't get bulb and light mixed up even though thumbnail has bulbs on it and car warning says, "check high mounted brake light". Sorry that I caused you such a hassle and you think my video is terrible and I "wasted your time".

Yes, you need an external drive capable of reading blu ray discs.

Or an internal Blu-ray drive works just as well.

Maybe they want people to void their warranty. Kidding but also not. Tip: I always buy cleaner on Amazon so that I have proof of purchases IF anything were to happen I can prove I used it as manual suggests at the correct time intervals. I will say I've had unit for about 1.5 years now. I use cleaner as suggested. Unit still works great.

I think there is a free version to try. Lol yeah I felt like an idiot! But it's real. It happened. So I kept it in the video because I'm human and hope others learn from my mistake. I RARELY measure current it was more of a showing people how to. Thank you for your service! Mechanics don't get the respect they deserve. 30 years is a long time too. You're absolutely right great habit to check ohms on meter before applying it to the circuit. Again, I appreciate your feedback and checking out my content. Thanks for linking the software, I'm getting back into computers and electronics more like when I was younger and trying new things. I enjoy electronics in cars but it's not the same anymore. Everything for the most part is software upgrades and or replace a module and reload software when it comes to the electronics. Keep up the good videos! If you don't mind me asking what are you studying? If you ever need car advice, particularly Volvo, let me know!

@@mattw1427 Cars are NOT the way they use to be. I enjoy my older paid off vehicles I know inside and out from making repair. Well, videos I'm posting now are very basic, but we'll get into cool stuff later like logic gates and all kinds of stuff! Open to suggestions as well I will make stray electronic videos outside the series here and there as well. I have a degree in electronics engineering. I'm at a point in my life where I want to volunteer and teach what I know so that's how the YT really started and is headed. I love good education channels and I hope to one day be one of those guys on here with thousands of little electronic videos.

I thought he was too! Then we did a DNA test and he is 54% Chihuahua, 14% American Cocker Spaniel, 8% Poodle, and some other breeds mixed too. If you have a pet I suggest doing a DNA test. They are really cool and insightful. We found out our other dog is a 100% Great Pyraneese and we got him from the shelter. It helped us understand their temperments better and why they are and do some of the things they do.

Yes, I informed the customer of this along with the many other issues found with this vehicle.

I was able to get mine at Auto Zone. I'm sure O'Reillys, or NAPA would have it in stock as well. Can always call and ask if they have the 7506 bulb in stock before you go to the physical store.
