This scene was already loved by the manga readers long before the adaptation was announced, so it was a real blessing to see it being adapted just right.
Also, the photo shoot was and still is hilarous, but what take you by surprise, is Naruse thong lol.
This is the best episode of the entire Komi Can't Communicate. Till this date, I crack up hard by watching this episode, no matter how many times I watch it. Especially, on the bathing sequence of Katai and Naruse! On top of that, this episode particularly brings a sense of nostalgia to me, as if I were in a field trip and having a great time on it.
Yay one of my fav episodes! Been waiting for this one hahaha. Komi's face when walking by was hilarious.
After this arc I would like to draw your attention to the ending again. IT IS AMAZING FORESHADOWING. You'll see how in the first half of the ending, everyone is in their "old friend circles" but when the chorus picks up and gets busier, SO DOES THE CLASSROOM!!! Komi has more friends, Nakanaka and Yamai are chasing each other! Tadano is hanging out with naruse!!!!
For the first time when I saw that scene suddenly starts happening I was like aye aye oii what, I was shoketh.

I love Naruse so much, he loves himself more than anyone but he also inspires others to love themselves as well.
As the narrator kid says, Naruse might be narcistic but he is not a bad guy. in fact he is quite inspiring tbh.
