Hey, this is pretty cool! I wonder if you made the edges and corners smoothed out to approximate a sphere packing, if it would look lkke somewhat smooth terrain regardless of angle, while not actually being stored as such? I think that would be a good way to make spherical planets Edit: on hey, you already made it spherical!
Thank you! I did not smooth out the edges or corners, but it's related to (the densest) sphere packing, indeed. One downside is you cannot have flat surfaces.
@@falkush yeah, I had a similar idea where you start with shapes like this and then draw planes between nearby groups of outer edges to make them more smooth
@@falkush I don't know exactly, I've thought of a few ways of doing it but I'm not very good at programming and don't know the terms used. Another way I imagined is that you'd replace all the dodecahedrons with spheres, and then imagine you like, laid a cloth over the surface of them? Or shrink wrapped them, but not exactly.
Removing all the features was a nice touch
My brain ain't braining anymore
It's funny how you almost can't tell they aren't cubes unless you REALLY pay attention.
As an non native speaker i see Rhombic Dodecahedrons like 菱形十二面体
Someone needs to show this to Matt Parker
I think we could fit more rhombic dodecahedrons in here
add survival mode, but all the gui things are also rhombic dodecahedrons.
That's because he has a weird FOV set u
Please put gravity in for my sanity
I hope to see it in next update 🤩
Brain.exe has stoped working.
Appropriate channel name
now thats cool
Lemme know when you implement the ender dragon

@@bengoodwin2141 Sounds great! Something like a convex hull?

@@bengoodwin2141 Sounds cool! Good luck with your project!
Now do it with cupola-drilled rhombicosidodecahedra
Minecraft in the 6th dimension be like
epic!!
Nize
will youi make similar game with truncated octahedra ?
probably yeah
Pog
Now do it with pentahedrons
*ДА*
bruh
ahaha
What am I even looking at?
