It's a good reason that you guys will not have a live show. Glad to see business is going well for you. Love the channel. Hopefully we will still see some recorded content. Would love to hear more about the fittings you have and maybe the clubs and combinations you may be fitting people into the most in each club category.
Was just in the Minneapolis store got fitted for driver. Ping g425 was the best fit. Next week getting fitted for irons at the Minnetonka store. 1.5hr drive from Wisconsin but so worth it.
Hey guys - I'm looking to get a utility iron. Is there anything new in the pipeline being launched this year or should I just grab something that's in the market already? Thanks in advance - happy golfing.
Hi Amer! Good question. The U505 from Titleist is one of our favorites. Easy to launch. Otherwise the new one from Mizuno (225 Fli hi) looks like a terrific option
Missed this video live so hopefully I can get a response here. I'm currently playing Mizuno MP-59s. I hit them well but they are more than 10 years old now. 7i carry is 165 to give you an idea of speed. Anything I should be looking at out of this year's iron lineup? Looking to make an upgrade and as much as I like Mizuno would consider other brands.
This year I’m ready to get the ultimate driver set up for me and would really appreciate your advice. As unfortunately I do not have a 2nd Swing nearby (I live in Spain) nor a local golf store that carries the Fujikura Ventus line for testing/demo, I’d love to hear from you what would you suggest. I currently play a Ping G410 Plus 10.5 set at 9.5 with a Hzrdus Smoke RDX 5.5. I am 62 with a swing speed of 92mph and hit it 240 yards. Should I go with the new Ventus Blue TR 50 in Regular Flex or the 60 (it seems the 50 is closer in weight to my current Hzrdus 5.5)?. Best rgds from Madrid.
I keep missing these great live shows as I’m working at this time but do have a question for you if you reply to comments. I’m 6’2 and play my irons 2° upright. I don’t swing fast, around 92 with driver / 75 with 7iron. Should I also play my wedges with an upright lie angle?
Thanks for the comment! This is a good question. I assume you did not manipulate the length of your irons? One thing we have done with players that go upright 2° or more with irons is start at 1° up with wedges. That might be worth a try. However, if you are hitting your wedges straight without an adjustment, it might be better to leave them be...
Drew, a little advice....stop being so disrespectful by interrupting Thomas when he is talking...it comes off as a clear sign of insecurity and makes you look like your point of view is the most important, and quite frankly I would rather hear what Thomas has to say since its very clear he knows a lot more about club fitting than you do. Let the teacher teach and be content with being the student for now. A wise old man gave me some good advice years ago and I'll pass it on to you... What if I hit every club in my bag like the Hogan apex?

You can’t have eggs and eat them too. Not a wise move
