About 30mins per model- good enough for a good looking tabletop army I'd say. What do you think?

Fun video! Contrast over Zenithal is just a fantastic technique.

Great vid Im thinking of trying contrast paints soon I have a load of landsknechts Im doing for KOW and think having watched this working contrast and inks over a light undercoat might work. I have worked hard this year to step back my painting so I can produce a good TT standard quickly.

It's hard to not paint everything as well as you can... but painting everything as well as you can means not much gets done, and you're still left thinking that what you did get done could be better! Contrast paint mixes well with inks btw, gives a good range of extra 'free' contrast paints

Dumb question: what brand of brush are you using? It’s always good to have a stockpile of good supplies. This is a GREAT series! I’ve just ordered this set and your channel has me super excited to try my hand with the contrast paints. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the comment! Have fun with the set, it's a fun project. I got the brushes on ebay (UK), just search 'red synthetic brushes' or 'orange synthetic brushes' in the crafts category. The brand is 'Major Brushes'.

yeah great vid, your right about snake bite - awesome colour. I challenge you to add a few dots of dark brown / black oil paint into the recesses to blend out (I remember you as being one of my very first followers on instagram! )

Yeh I love snakebite leather and aggros dunes. They both work great with some skinstone/red/chestnut ink added for a huge range of leather colours. I might do a quick oil recess wash once I've multibased everything and can add it mainly where it will have a good impact 👍
