Yes from what I've been reading Aaliyah was planning to take a break from music and focus on acting she was booked for so many projects and was planning to launch a clothing line with her best friend Kidada Jones

I remember the day she passed, it was a Saturday. I was at dance practice with my daughter & there was a big commotion- some parents were crying. I didn't know what happened. I went over to find out & they said Aaliyah died in a plane crash. I couldn't believe it! The entire subway ride home I couldn't wait to watch the news or listen to the radio (no internet) to see if it was true. Thanks for the correct pronunciation of her name Jack 👍🏽 many say it wrong. I remember watching this episode of Diary when it aired. Thanks for this!
To see the Twin Towers in the background of the video foreshadows 9/11. I was at work in downtown Manhattan when the towers fell. It was surreal!! The entire day felt like a dream. That was a dark time for the city.😢 💔🙏🏽💔🙏🏽💔🙏🏽

I love Aaliyah so much❤. Aaliyah's influence is still in music today. Just last night Tinashe dropped a new video that gives off throwback 90s futuristic vibes. You can really see the Aaliyah and TLC in the video but it's not too much but just enough...very tastefully done. You should react to it. React to X/I Can See The Future by Tinashe next🔥! Aaliyah was truly one of a kind but it's nice to see the new girls keeping her legacy alive.

( Where they would follow the artist over the course of a few days), Making the Video ( they would give you a behind the scenes of an artist filming their new music video and then do a world premier of the video at the end), MTV Cribs...believe it or not MTV, VH1 and BET use to actually be really good and entertaining.
