    Wow, these are beautiful!! I have used the Brite on paintings, and was not fond of it….felt rubbery. How does it feel to the touch on the mugs? Sounds like a better option than resin. Not dishwasher safe, right! Thank you, Tina! ❣️

      Thanks Kathy. It feels very nice almost resin like on the mugs. I used it on paintings too only one coat though. I would say hand-wash only. But even if it was i wouldn’t put anything hand made like these in the dishwasher.

    Beside prepping the mug by cleaning it with alcohol, do you do any other prep to it before applying alcohol ink? You mention Krylon or Kamar but I saw you sealing with Brite Tone, what are you using the other two for? Thank you!

    • @TSRCreations
      @TSRCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All i do to prep is wipe clean with alcohol.
      Sealing is a process. I spray the mugs first to seal in the inks because I find the brite tone can reactivate the inks and cause some smearing and running that ruins my design. I do this same process to my alcohol ink paintings before resin.

    I have a question, as I must saw your Instagram video showing all your items in a shop. I poured on a porcelain dish very similar to the ones you have in the video. I resined over it. I’m scared the resin may come off. I’ve never poured on porcelain before. I cleaned with alcohol first, poured, and only resined where the paint was. You are the only other artist Ive seen do this. How did you prep your surface and do you think it would hold up to hand washing?

    • @TSRCreations
      @TSRCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. So I don’t paint the porcelain before the resin. I clean the porcelain with alcohol and then pour my resin. The Resin adheres well to it and i have not had any issues. I always suggest only hand washing. Hope that helps!
