"My music is not for everyone. It is made for street soldiers. It is not music for parties, for dancing, it is spiritual music. My music is spiritual." - 2Pac
I love when people react to Pacs music who aren't familiar with it. It's hilarious seeing all yall thinking the songs are going to be your run of the mill hip hop party songs... But it's different with Pac. He gets deep with his shit
The line about Lil Latasha refers to Latasha Harlins a little girl (12 I think) who went to a liquor store to buy orange juice. The store owner (the Korean lady) thought she was stealing and shot her in the head. The line tell her she's forgiven so come home gives me chills every time. Extra context Latasha's murder + the police beating Rodney King are what sparked the LA Riots in 92. The fact that he wove her into that song like that was just so special. Because the news forgot her so quickly and the woman who killed her served no time. It was such a wild time
I've been a Tupac fan since the age of 11 when I first heard changes (I'm now 31) and today is the day I found out about Latasha Harlins and why he included her in this amazing song. Thank you for shedding light on this.
@@tolgaturk9190 Pac always did an amazing job of weaving real life issues and examples into his music. Brenda's Got a Baby is another example, as that song involves real examples.
Tupac rapped alot about death...he knew he would not be on this earth very long. You should definitely check out How long will they mourn me and Death around the corner. Keep up the great reactions.
The reason it hits so hard, is because in every other song he spits venom over this. The whole thing really affected him. So you fast forward to Thugz Mansion, and he's writing from a completely different place Things changed, he knew what was coming, there's a selection of songs where you hear him coming to peace with his life. What a man An absolute sin he was taken One day he will spark the brain that changes the world He's never been wrong He knows it'll happen I believe him
Yes! I was hoping you would have reacted to this eventually. One of my favorite songs, that was a post release after Pac passed on. Was released in 02, and was way after his death. this song always makes me think of my late uncle. I know he found where Thugz Mansion is, and is there right now. I always put this song on from time to time. Awesome that you finally reacted to this song.
No no no you keep being you that is one of the best ways I know to honour Tupac and remember one of the most important ethos in hip hop is peace love unity and having fun I was a yen year old boy the first time I heard hip hop as I sit here now as a 51 year old man and hear many thousands of tracks I'm still learning and never will but the most important thing is to enjoy the music fist then everything else comes after. Love light and peace
To understand him him better listen to his interview when he was 17 so u could understand what kinda kid he was and what different kinda mind he had.his interviews are just as good as his songs maby even better cause he explaning himself in way that everybody could understand not only in a way that people that grow up in hoods will understand.he was 1 of a kind no doubt.r.i.p pac😢
When I was his age I felt the same way, life can take us any place, dont give up. Now I have a normal life with a daugther and and wife. Just having a normal job and normal life. Life is good.
"Lil Natasha sho grown, tell the lady at the liquor store she is forgiving so come home", A young black girl was shot and killed by an older Korean woman thought she was stealing orange juice...Tupac was extremely intelligent, that was a sad incident that happened, i doubt many people know about that. Picture me in heaven he said and how he put everything into a song, i can see the mansion him Malcolm X, Billy Holiday, Natasha and more, No one should debate on who is the best rapper, there is no comparison and not just his music but everything he does, the greatest of all time.
Tupacs mother must have been proud happy and sad all at the same time meanwhile Tupac writes a verse telling his mother not to worry he is in heaven damn
2pac was a troubled soul. He knew his time on this planet was limited. He rapped about death a lot. Check out his songs Brenda got a baby and when thugz cry.
This song was made with the mindset of the afterlife. Your next 2pac reaction should be "Letter to my unborn child", I know you love "mockingbird" which was inspired by "letter to my unborn child"
I have watch a couple of Kathryn's reactions, all Tupac, and I can say I am absolutely in love with her energy and spirit. I wish not just white people but all people were so open to the cultural exchange that is inherent our music especially rap/hip hop though the genre may not articulate the struggle in the queen's english when an earnest attempt is made it becomes easier to understand and thus we as people also become easier to understand. We lost someone who I believe would be such a great ambassador on 9/13/96, blasphemy to some but Pac might have actually beat Barack to the white house.
If you've never seen the last picture taken of Tupac, literally minutes before he was shot, look it up. He's in the BMW with Suge Knight driving, and just the look in Pac's eyes can rival many of his amazing lyrics, without a spoken word...
Tupac, in my opinion, is the greatest rapper of all time. Also, I heard you near the end with "I wonder, wonder who.." so I'll finish it since I like that song lol. "Who wrote the book of love?" Hope you have a great day, week, etc.
You should react to: -Until the end of time -When thugs cry -Wonder why the call you B***h -Momma just a little girl -Happy home -Blasphemy Just to name a few. These songs are by Tupac

You are not a douchbag. It's actually beautiful how innocent you are. Growing up in a home were the street life offers a better quality of life then your own home is a hard place to imagine. I was 14 years old when the streets offered me more then my family ever did or could. You can only go to an empty cupboard or refrigerator so many times that you become so hungry the streets are all that can feel you. You will risk everything for a short opportunity on top than a life with NOTHING. I beat the odds. I lived that life for over 30 years before I overcame it. Though it still affects me every day. I'm thankful to have overcame the lows. I've spent 1/3 of my life as. "I Wake up in the morning and I ask myself is life worth livin or should I blast myself" some things will never change.
I'm a glad listener of Tupac Makaveli Shakur since 2002. He will always remain legend. He was a real poet and very intelligent. No one can replace him.
Ghetto gospel ft Elton John! Eminem produced the remix. The original is good but I think you'll like the one with Elton John better. I like it better then the original.

😂 So funny but true
this shit needs real philophers to be truly understood
you said it bro
True! Pac was so multifaceted he had the deepest, the radio and the most gangsta rap songs at that young age it's crazy
It’s because he was a ballerina
2Pac "I aint Mad at ya"
She needs to watch the video though not the lyrics
@@riverad78 Agreed.
Agree. She will get proper chills if she listens to ‘I Ain’t Mad At Ya’. (Music Video). Kathryn he i singing it from Heaven
By far my favourite PAC song ever!
U have to have her patron or whatever to watch I ain’t mad at ya

I think the lady had went back to Korea. Be interesting to see what came of her after it all.

One of the best examples of story telling in a song hands down
One of pacs best songs
The little LaTasha line though
"Tell the lady in the liquor store that she's forgiven." That was deeper than most people really know
