2Pac was speaking his truth here 😂 he was very popular with the ladies, and was acquainted with a lot of female celebrities back then.
Are there any 2Pac documentaries?! Omg, too many to count, and a movie too! He might have more documentaries than anybody in music history. There are even youtubers still today interviewing any and everybody who ever knew him! He was popular, but controversial/toxic too, as the anger and violence in "Hit Em Up" was also a big part of who he was, he got into a lot of fights and had a lot of enemies, so I think even he would be surprised at how much he is so beloved today.

They mostly appear on Pac's early material from 1990-1992 and his 1993 album "Strictly 4 My N*GGAZ. After that Pac had his own group called Thug Life before he went to Death Row. Loving the 2Pac reactions, I respect anyone that takes the time to learn about him or his legacy.
If you are really interested in a good 2Pac documentary I would highly recommend "Tupac: Resurrection" It came out 7 years after he was taken from us (2003) but the whole documentary was narrated by himself, It's a heavy watch and a really interesting mix of Raw, Happy and Sad emotions.
Pac was intelligent and way ahead of his time but many found him to be really complex, I think this was largely because he was such a good actor so some found it hard to tell the difference between him playing a role for the purpose of adapting to his current situation, And him just being himself.
Would love to see you react to that documentary if you get the time.

Hello there. GenXer. I was born & raised here in The Bay Area, San Jose to be exact. In the mid-eighties to the mid-ninties, the East Bay hip-hop scene was blowing up. It was kicked started by Too $hort, then MC Hammer, Paris, & Digital Underground, which Tupac was in. The line “Still clown with tha underground” was a nod to that band. Shock G was the leader of the Digital Underground, & was his alto ego was Humpty Hump. Soon there was E-40, The Coup, & Souls of Mischief. The Bay was the place to be for hip-hop. “Loose lips sinks ships” is an old saying, basically it means be careful what you say cause there will be consequences to your words.

Tupac went to The Juilliard School of performing arts in NY. For having a trouble childhood, he accomplished a lot in his short life. Distinguished Rapper, Poet, and movie star. He attributes a lot of his success and knowledge to his mom who was a Black Panther member in Oakland California in the 60's and the pimps and drug dealers he looked up to in Oakland, Baltimore and NY City (Harlem).

2pac got his start with Shock G’s group Digital Underground Mia. Shock played an entertaining character in it named Humpty and created a famous rap song known as the Humpty Dance which you should review sometime. Unfortunately Shock G passed away a few years ago in a motel room possibly from an overdose I believe.

5:30 During World War II the saying came about because telling a stranger information about where Warships were coming and going could literally lead to that ship being sunk by German submarines because the person you were talking to could be a German spy. But more generally it just means watch what confidential info. you tell people because it could lead to trouble.

Ayy girl, keep talking about the man Pac! We all know he’s a handsome dude and it’s all good, obviously most of us come for perspective but when a person sees a video or hears a song for the first time - a true first reaction if you find them attractive is still part of the reaction and we appreciate it!
This is one of those songs that if it came on karaoke, I could easily rock it out without even looking at the screen. This album was the first album I bought with my own money and it was on cassette tape 😂😂 enjoy the journey!

Shock G and Money B were part of a group called Digital Underground and they had two huge hits: "Humpty Dance" and "Kiss Me Back." Tupac was never an official member, but they gave him an opportunity and exposed him to the industry. Within a few years, I want to say 1995, he became more famous than Digital Underground.
